Episode: “The Nations Rage”
Who are the modern Palestinians, and do they have an ancient claim to the Promised Land? The Bearded Bible Brothers journey to the former stronghold of the Philistines, Tel Ashkelon, to discover the true history behind the current conflicts. After Israel’s rebirth, Satan wasted no time in trying to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Joshua and Caleb explain the past wars that lead up to present day aggression.
Series: “Rebuilding the Ruined Cities”
In this series, Joshua and Caleb visit war-torn areas in the Holy Land where they discuss hope and blessing amidst ruin and pain. God will faithfully fulfill His promise to heal, restore, and rebuild Israel once again: “‘They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them … never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,’ says the Lord your God” (Amos 9:14–15).

Caption transcript for Rebuilding the Ruined Cities: “The Nations Rage” (11/12)
- 00:05 Caleb Colson: As many students of history know, the rebirth of Israel, this joyous prophetic event, is immediately followed by Satan's rage through his proxy vessels, the Muslim people.
- 00:25 Joshua Colson: The day immediately following the
- 00:27 establishment of the Jewish state, the nations surrounding
- 00:30 the Jews joined forces to try to wipe Israel off the face of
- 00:34 the earth.
- 00:35 This is known as Israel's war for independence, the
- 00:38 Arab-Israeli war.
- 00:44 Caleb: Psalm 2:1 through 4: "Why did the nations rage, and the
- 00:48 people plot a vain thing?
- 00:50 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take
- 00:53 counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed,
- 00:56 saying, 'Let us break Their bonds in pieces, and cast away
- 00:59 Their cords from us.'
- 01:01 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them
- 01:04 in derision."
- 01:08 Joshua: Let's just say that God doesn't take too kindly to those
- 01:11 who try to kill his chosen people and take his chosen land,
- 01:14 although he does find it kind of funny that the mortal man thinks
- 01:17 that he can do that.
- 01:18 Caleb: Well, we are here at Tel Ashkelon.
- 01:20 Here's the Canaanite gate behind us.
- 01:22 This was one of five Philistine royal cities, including Gaza, as
- 01:26 you may know, Ekron, Gath, Ashdod, and this is a very
- 01:31 important location because something important happened
- 01:34 here and we'll get to that later in the story.
- 01:36 Joshua: Now let's set the record straight.
- 01:37 There's always been a Jewish presence here even after the
- 01:40 Diaspora in 70 AD.
- 01:41 There's always been Jews living in communities even after it
- 01:44 ceased to be an autonomous state.
- 01:46 Caleb: That's right, but back on May 14th, 1948, after Israel was
- 01:50 reborn, there was chaos that erupted because immediately the
- 01:53 day after, all the surrounding Arab states came to try to wipe
- 01:57 Israel off the face of the earth.
- 01:58 We're talking an alliance of Egypt, of Iraq, of Lebanon, of
- 02:03 Syria, of Jordan, and they did not succeed, thank you very
- 02:08 much, but Israel was outnumbered ten to one, I mean, think of
- 02:11 those odds, and they were just reborn under
- 02:14 the British mandate.
- 02:16 They weren't allowed to have weapons so sometimes they were
- 02:18 using farming tools, very primitive weapons, but God still
- 02:21 stood by his people.
- 02:22 Joshua: It's amazing. Caleb: Yeah.
- 02:24 Joshua: Worst homecoming gift ever.
- 02:26 Hi, welcome to the neighborhood. Let's destroy you.
- 02:31 Joshua: The Jews won the conflict, but it didn't come
- 02:33 without great consequences.
- 02:35 Number one, they gave away Gaza to Egypt as a peace offering.
- 02:38 Caleb: That's true.
- 02:40 And what happened was Transjordan took over a
- 02:42 territory of Judea and Samaria.
- 02:44 They annexed it and drove 40,000 Jews from their home.
- 02:48 Joshua: At this point, the Jews across the Middle East had a
- 02:51 giant target on their back, so over a million of them on their
- 02:54 way to Israel, they had to move, had to worry about being killed.
- 02:57 Caleb: And another thing that happened is that Egypt once
- 03:00 again tried to attack Israel in 1956, tried to take over the
- 03:04 territory they lost, but again Israel won back Gaza, but they
- 03:08 gave it as a peace offering to Egypt and it's kind of bizarre
- 03:12 that the Palestinians claim that the Jews are keeping them from
- 03:16 their own homeland, from their own territory, that they're
- 03:18 keeping them in bondage.
- 03:19 So many times throughout history, they could have
- 03:22 declared an autonomous state, they could have declared
- 03:24 freedom, have free and fair elections, but they always
- 03:26 choose terrorism or terrorists to be their leadership.
- 03:29 Joshua: Another interesting point about that is that Egypt
- 03:31 held Gaza area under such a tight oppressive regime that
- 03:35 after the Six Day War in '67, they actually threw a parade for
- 03:38 the IDF for liberating them from how bad Egypt had been
- 03:42 treating them.
- 03:43 Caleb: That's true.
- 03:49 Joshua: Zephaniah 2:8 through 9: "'I have heard the reproach of
- 03:52 Moab, and the insults of the people of Ammon, with which they
- 03:55 have reproached My people, and made arrogant threats against
- 03:58 their borders.
- 03:59 Therefore, as I live,' says the Lord of hosts, the God of
- 04:02 Israel, 'Surely Moab should be like Sodom, and the people of
- 04:05 Ammon like Gomorrah--Overrun with weeds and saltpits, and
- 04:08 perpetual desolation.
- 04:10 The residue of My people shall plunder them, and the remnant of
- 04:12 My people shall possess them.'"
- 04:20 Joshua: Now the territory today we call the West Bank, was
- 04:24 formerly occupied by Judea and Samaria, and even east of the
- 04:28 Jordan River, which is where Jordan occupies today, will be
- 04:31 Israel's territory in the future.
- 04:33 But another thing that happened besides gaining control of the
- 04:36 West Bank that was such an amazing fulfillment of prophecy,
- 04:39 was that Israel got control over Jerusalem.
- 04:42 No longer would they have to pray every
- 04:43 [speaking foreign language] "Next year in Jerusalem,"
- 04:45 because that time had come.
- 04:47 Caleb: That's right, and the 6 Day War is very interesting.
- 04:49 It was alliance of Syria, Jordan, and Egypt, but God
- 04:53 settled their dispute in 6 days.
- 04:55 Imagine a 6-day-long war, and on the 7th day they rested.
- 04:59 I mean, isn't that like God to fulfill his promises to his
- 05:03 people and rescue them?
- 05:05 But the conclusion of it, the boundaries changed.
- 05:08 They expanded for Israel.
- 05:10 They regained territory lost in 1948.
- 05:13 Israel got East Jerusalem back, as Josh mentioned.
- 05:16 They got the Golan Heights, they got Gaza back.
- 05:20 They even got the Sinai Peninsula, which they readily
- 05:24 gave back to Egypt though.
- 05:26 Joshua: That's it, I'm never working on the 7th day again.
- 05:29 God can do anything in 6 days.
- 05:47 Joshua: Now the Israelis could have had everything under
- 05:49 their hold.
- 05:51 They had the Temple Mount.
- 05:52 They had Judea, they had Samaria.
- 05:53 They could have built the third temple, but instead, in an
- 05:56 attempt to pacify and create peace, they decided to give over
- 06:01 control of the Temple Mount to the Jordanians.
- 06:03 Literally they could have built a third temple and started the
- 06:05 Tribulation if it had been God's timing.
- 06:07 Caleb: It was not God's timing, but interestingly, those
- 06:10 Jordanians who were left behind in the West Bank, they could
- 06:13 have immigrated back to Jordan.
- 06:14 Jordan didn't accept them.
- 06:16 They were just Jordanians.
- 06:17 They were just citizens and, in fact, that's the same story with
- 06:20 all Palestinians today.
- 06:22 No country wants them, no country will accept them, so
- 06:24 Israel welcomed them.
- 06:26 Israel took care of them.
- 06:27 Israel let them stay, but even with all that that we see today,
- 06:32 let's say, with the international community, you
- 06:35 know, during the time of World War II, if a country took over a
- 06:38 part of land during the conquest, that became part of
- 06:40 their dominion, part of their boundaries of their statehood or
- 06:44 their territory, but the land that Israel reacquired,
- 06:48 reacquired that was already theirs but got back, from the
- 06:52 Six Day War, the international community would never recognize
- 06:55 that it belonged to Israel.
- 06:57 It was now occupied land or contested land.
- 07:01 Joshua: Funny how that works.
- 07:05 Joshua: Zephaniah 2:4 through 5: "For Gaza shall be forsaken, and
- 07:09 Ashkelon desolate; They shall drive out Ashdod at noonday, and
- 07:12 Ekron shall be uprooted.
- 07:14 Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of
- 07:17 the Cherethites!
- 07:18 The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, land of the
- 07:21 Philistines: I will destroy you; So there shall be
- 07:24 no inhabitant."
- 07:27 Joshua: I believe that that scripture is a parallel prophecy
- 07:30 or what some people would call a dual prophecy because the
- 07:33 Philistines were wiped out a long time ago, but the
- 07:36 Palestinians, which if you look at what Palestinian means, it
- 07:39 means Philistine, are calling themselves that.
- 07:42 In Hebrew, the word "Palestinian" literally
- 07:45 means invader.
- 07:46 So when somebody comes up to you and says, "Hey, how's it going?
- 07:48 I'm a Palestinian," what they're saying is, "I'm an invader in a
- 07:51 land that doesn't belong to me."
- 07:53 They're literally calling themselves that.
- 07:55 Caleb: It's kind of harsh, but back to that prophecy that
- 07:57 Joshua read, it literally declares that Ashkelon, for the
- 08:02 now or not too distant future will be taken by Israel.
- 08:06 Well, right now, Israel does hold Ashkelon, so you look at
- 08:10 Israel holding Ekron, Gath, Ashdod, Ashkelon, the only
- 08:14 Philistine royal city that Israel doesn't hold is Gaza.
- 08:17 So it must be happening in the future.
- 08:20 But when you continue to read those verses, it's kind of
- 08:23 heartbreaking, in light of what happened on October 7th when
- 08:27 over 240 captives were taken by Hamas and into the tunnel system
- 08:33 of Gaza into that darkness for months on end, and listen to
- 08:37 this part of a verse that talks about captives and what God is
- 08:40 gonna do for them.
- 08:41 Joshua: Zephaniah 2:6 through 7: "The sea coast shall be
- 08:45 pastures, with shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks.
- 08:49 The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah.
- 08:52 They shall feed their flocks there, and the houses
- 08:54 of Ashkelon.
- 08:55 They shall lie down at evening, for the Lord their God will
- 08:58 intervene for them, and return their captives."
- 09:05 Caleb: Tel Ashkelon is unique because of thousands of years of
- 09:09 civilizations and cultures that you can find here, from the
- 09:11 so-called Neolithic period, then you have the Canaanites, you had
- 09:16 the Egyptians, and then the Philistines.
- 09:18 Everybody knows about the Philistines.
- 09:19 That's why it's famous for those five royal cities.
- 09:21 But after the Philistines were wiped out, then you had the
- 09:24 Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, you had crusader era,
- 09:28 you had the Muslims and the Ayyubids and Mamluks, but it's
- 09:32 very interesting.
- 09:34 Right now, we are in a Roman period facility here.
- 09:37 You see behind me the statue of Nike, the goddess.
- 09:40 She's standing on top of Atlas, the god.
- 09:43 It shows the Roman period as alive here and there's so many
- 09:46 cultures and interesting periods that you can find here that
- 09:50 really show that this was a hot spot.
- 09:52 It was a very important port because the ocean is right there
- 09:56 and whoever controlled this port, controlled trade.
- 09:59 Joshua: Now one of the coolest finds, in fact one of the most
- 10:01 important finds, not too far from here in 2013, was a
- 10:04 Philistine cemetery with over 200 bones and cremation jars and
- 10:09 all of this physical evidence of the Philistines.
- 10:12 Yes, we know that there's been evidence of the Philistine but
- 10:14 never a physical body.
- 10:16 Why is this important?
- 10:17 Because it gave us the opportunity to test the DNA on
- 10:19 the bones and see if the people today calling themselves
- 10:22 Palestinians actually have the same genetic makeup as those
- 10:26 Philistines/Canaanites which would give them legitimacy
- 10:31 to Israel.
- 10:38 Joshua: Now according to biblical studies, the
- 10:39 Philistines were a seafaring people from the Ionian Islands.
- 10:43 They weren't the dark-skinned Semitic Middle Eastern people
- 10:46 that we think of today.
- 10:47 In fact, they weren't even Canaanites.
- 10:49 They didn't start intermarrying with Canaanites till far later
- 10:51 in history.
- 10:53 So back to the whole DNA study of the bones.
- 10:55 Guess what?
- 10:56 They tested the DNA of the Philistines, the original ones,
- 10:59 and there was no genetic match whatsoever to the people calling
- 11:03 themselves Palestinians today.
- 11:04 Caleb: That's--it should blow your mind, guys, that this
- 11:07 proves so many years of lies that have been taught.
- 11:10 So these refugees, these Egyptian and Jordanian refugees,
- 11:14 also had no Canaanite DNA markers in their blood, because
- 11:18 1600 years before the Arabs and the Muslims would come into this
- 11:22 Promised Land territory was when the Canaanites completely were
- 11:26 wiped out.
- 11:27 And so right now all day when we've been walking around
- 11:30 Ashkelon, we've been hearing bombs going off, explosions,
- 11:32 because we're not too far from Gaza where the IDF is continuing
- 11:36 their campaigns to root out Hamas and wipe them off the face
- 11:39 of the earth, for this claim, for this damage that they have
- 11:42 done to the Jewish people.
- 11:44 And so, as Yeshua said, of Satan, "He is a father of all
- 11:50 lies," and it's only him.
- 11:53 He's the only one who could speak these lies, who could
- 11:56 continue this falsehood, this narrative, to try to wipe off
- 11:59 the Jewish people from the face of the earth.
- 12:01 John 8:44 says: "You are of your father, the devil, and the
- 12:06 desires of your father you want to do.
- 12:08 He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in
- 12:10 the truth, because there's no truth in him.
- 12:13 When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he
- 12:17 is a liar and the father of it."
- 12:24 Caleb: Now it's not an accident that one of the designations for
- 12:28 Allah, he is the great deceiver, the a master liar, Al-Makr, and
- 12:34 to Muslims in the Qur'an, this is a virtue to be a great liar.
- 12:39 They are merely following after their traits of that master
- 12:42 liar Satan.
- 12:43 He is the one behind all this deception.
- 12:46 Joshua: As we've talked before, the Emperor Hadrian, Roman
- 12:50 Emperor, after squashing a rebellion from the Jewish people
- 12:55 in 135 AD, decided to name the territory Palestina or Palestine
- 13:00 after their age-old enemy, the Philistines.
- 13:03 However, no one that lived there was called Palestinians.
- 13:06 There was never a country that was formed called Palestine,
- 13:09 like never ever in history ever.
- 13:11 Caleb: That's right, but while the British had control or
- 13:14 occupation of Israel, sometimes there were Jews who referred to
- 13:18 themselves as Palestinian.
- 13:20 I know that's shocking, right, a Jew calling
- 13:22 themselves Palestinian?
- 13:24 But in 1937, the Palestinian Royal Commission heard from a
- 13:29 local Arab leader, and this is, as I quote, he said, "There is
- 13:32 no such country as Palestine.
- 13:35 Palestine is a term the Zionists invented.
- 13:38 Our country for centuries was part of Syria."
- 13:42 Joshua: So how did Egyptian and Jordanian invaders who were
- 13:45 occupiers of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, all of a sudden
- 13:48 become Palestinians?
- 13:50 Caleb: I would like to know this.
- 13:51 Joshua: I thought you would.
- 13:52 Well, it happened after the Six Day War, an Egyptian man by the
- 13:54 name of Yasser Arafat decided to create a fantastic PR campaign,
- 13:58 of which he took the Jordanians and the Syrians, these refugees,
- 14:02 and decided to name them Palestinians, and guess what?
- 14:06 It worked.
- 14:07 Caleb: And since 1967, a grand fake history of the Palestinians
- 14:12 people heritage in this land of Israel has been created, and
- 14:16 they create this history and they teach it to their children
- 14:19 in their schools so that kids grow up with this indoctrinated,
- 14:23 this hatred toward the Jewish people, and it sticks with them
- 14:26 their whole lives because, as we said, they don't want to believe
- 14:29 the truth because the truth comes from Yeshua.
- 14:31 They would rather believe the lie.
- 14:36 Joshua: Zachariah 8:7 through 8: "Thus says the Lord of hosts:
- 14:41 'Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east and
- 14:44 from the land of the west; I will bring them back, and they
- 14:47 shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.
- 14:49 They shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth
- 14:53 and righteousness.'"
- 14:57 Caleb: Now after the Six Day War, there would be many
- 14:59 conflicts from the neighboring nations that would try to
- 15:02 attack Israel.
- 15:03 The 1973 Yom Kippur War was a surprise attack and, believe it
- 15:07 or not, Hamas modeled their October 7th invasion after
- 15:11 this conflict.
- 15:12 Then you would have wars with Lebanon, you would have
- 15:14 intifadas, lots of conflicts to lead up.
- 15:17 But the lie that has been spoken by many American presidents is
- 15:21 the same thing: the only way to bring peace is to carve up
- 15:24 Israel like a turkey and give away portions of our land to
- 15:27 the enemy.
- 15:28 Joshua: Prime Minister Ariel Sharon fell for that trap in
- 15:30 2005 with the Gaza Disengagement as he ordered all Israelis out
- 15:35 of their homes and settlements in Gaza, gift-wrapped the
- 15:38 entire area.
- 15:40 He gave them water treatment plants.
- 15:42 He gave them power plant.
- 15:43 He gave them greenhouses.
- 15:44 It was literally a free destination and, out of
- 15:48 contempt, the very next day they burned it all to the ground and
- 15:53 Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had a coma and a stroke, and
- 15:58 never recovered.
- 16:00 Caleb: Since then, the nations have been duped into giving
- 16:03 hundreds of millions of dollars to the so-called
- 16:05 "Palestinian plight."
- 16:07 They think they're giving to these poor people in Gaza, but
- 16:10 actually, the leaders of Gaza are living in opulence, and they
- 16:14 use most of this money to buy weapons to attack Israel itself.
- 16:18 Joshua: We know that the areas of the West Bank and Gaza are
- 16:21 not the actual problem here.
- 16:22 It's not what the fight is really all about.
- 16:24 It's actually that antisemitic, anti-Christ spirit that is
- 16:28 trying to bring division and destruction of the Jewish
- 16:31 people, and we know that only Yeshua can stop that.
- 16:34 And so the end comes, there will always be conflicts.
- 16:38 Caleb: Deuteronomy 30:6 through 8: "And the Lord your God will
- 16:41 circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to
- 16:45 love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
- 16:47 soul, that you may live.
- 16:50 Also the Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies
- 16:53 and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.
- 16:57 And you will again obey the voice of the Lord and do all of
- 17:00 His commandments, which I command you today."
- 17:03 Joshua: Settling for peace is actually surrendering
- 17:06 your future.
- 17:07 Several years ago there was a bumper sticker that became
- 17:10 really popular amongst the Whole Foods shoppers, hipster, coffee,
- 17:13 counterculture folks.
- 17:15 It was a sticker that said, "Coexist," and it looked like a
- 17:17 haphazard Photoshop job with a whole bunch of religious iconic
- 17:21 figures and things stacked on top of each other, but the
- 17:24 concept of this bumper sticker was simple: We should all
- 17:27 coexist with other belief systems.
- 17:29 Sounds like a great idea, right?
- 17:31 Let's live in peace together, let's coexist.
- 17:33 But the problem is, is that there is only one truth out
- 17:37 there, and that truth is of Yeshua.
- 17:40 It's the only one that's real.
- 17:41 So if the only belief system that has anything true behind it
- 17:44 is Yeshua, that means that every other religion, every other
- 17:47 belief system can only come from one other individual, and that
- 17:50 is Satan, the father of all lies.
- 17:52 He is the only other entity in this world that wants devotion
- 17:57 and adoration aside from the Father.
- 17:59 So you say, "Why is it wrong for us to strive for peace?"
- 18:02 It's not wrong to strive for peace, but settling and
- 18:06 surrendering your belief system to a false belief system that's
- 18:09 created from the enemy is.
- 18:11 Why is that?
- 18:12 Because the Bible says that Satan has come to steal, to
- 18:15 kill, and to destroy, so literally if you're surrendering
- 18:19 to his belief system, if you're accepting or coexisting a belief
- 18:22 system that at the root of it comes from Satan, you're
- 18:25 literally accepting suicide.
- 18:28 Literally, because he's come to steal, kill, and destroy you.
- 18:31 This is the part in the program where everybody gets mad and
- 18:33 says, "See, this is what religion has caused, all the
- 18:34 problems, it's caused all the wars."
- 18:36 The fact of the matter is those wars and everything were caused
- 18:39 by individuals standing up for their own personal truth,
- 18:42 standing up in the name of these false beliefs.
- 18:45 As I said earlier, there is only one truth, and that is Yeshua,
- 18:49 Hamashiach, Jesus the Messiah.
- 18:52 Your call today isn't to remain quiet when you have the truth.
- 18:56 That's not the way to peace.
- 18:57 For you to cower in the background while others that are
- 19:00 speaking false truths, stand up and yell and proclaim, "This is
- 19:03 what's--this is what's right," it is your job to stand up for
- 19:07 your birthright, to declare the truth, and to say, "No, this is
- 19:11 the truth, there is only one truth, it is Yeshua."
- 19:14 Today is that day for you to claim your birthright.
- 19:17 It doesn't matter if your name is written in a will.
- 19:19 If you don't show up to the reading of that will, if you
- 19:21 don't claim what that birthright is for you, then you don't
- 19:25 receive any of the benefits of that will, no matter what was
- 19:28 left to you.
- 19:29 Sitting alone and quiet won't do it.
- 19:31 Accepting a false peace in exchange for your birthright
- 19:34 won't either.
- 19:36 Stand today for the truth, stand and hold firm against the
- 19:39 resistance for what God has called for us.
- 19:44 Caleb: We are heading south to a military base in Reim, in the
- 19:50 Gaza envelopes, more dangerous place right now.
- 19:52 They are literally invading Rafah right now, IDF are
- 19:56 fighting, trying to gain a foothold against the terrorists,
- 19:58 and this is where we plan to meet our good friend,
- 20:01 Chaim Malespin.
- 20:02 He has been a friend of Zola Ministries for years, and he's
- 20:06 the head of the Aliyah Return Center.
- 20:08 Joshua: I don't think I've ever met a man that has more energy
- 20:10 to do more things at once.
- 20:12 He's got a smile, he always has something to say.
- 20:14 He's got scripture to give, and at the same time, he's going
- 20:17 through tunnels and fighting this war.
- 20:19 This is an incredible man with an incredible perspective.
- 20:21 He's always up to date on what's happening, second by second,
- 20:24 well, because he's on the front lines.
- 20:27 So let's go see what he's up to today, because it could
- 20:29 be anything.
- 20:30 Chaim Malespin: It's just been a pleasure to fight on
- 20:32 multiple fronts.
- 20:33 I mean, not to have to just defend my house from--home from
- 20:37 this, you know, insanity, but really to be able to give, equip
- 20:41 people that have fled because people had to flee their houses
- 20:44 in [speaking in Hebrew].
- 20:45 I don't know if you've been able to visit, [speaking in Hebrew]
- 20:48 all these ones.
- 20:50 Here we are, Reim area, and the parents were all like these
- 20:53 peace activists.
- 20:54 A lot of them were on the border there.
- 20:55 Anyway, so what happened is, is you see now trees are planted
- 20:59 and you see there's some looking forward which is--makes me
- 21:02 happy to have some looking forward but we're part of that
- 21:04 looking to the prophetic forward of Israel's promises, covenants
- 21:08 that are unceasing, and so what we do
- 21:11 is we are helping these families.
- 21:13 We're like, guys, you're going to go back to your home one day.
- 21:15 For now we're going to take care of your food, clothing, shelter.
- 21:17 We've got the Hebrew school with 70 people in it for immigrants
- 21:20 who still arrive in wartime.
- 21:22 How in the world are they still making aliyah in wartime?
- 21:25 I'm amazed at that.
- 21:27 And then and also coming from antisemitic areas, maybe no go
- 21:31 zones in France, maybe certain areas in England and other
- 21:34 places in the world, and it's just, you know, it's almost like
- 21:37 the crazy has been activated in the world and so--and part of
- 21:42 the enemy's anarchy plan is to first take out the bearers of
- 21:46 the Bible, you know, the Jewish people and the Christians, so
- 21:49 it's really a Judeo-Christian thing that we have to fight and
- 21:53 stand up for, his Word, his plan, and so we're able to help
- 21:57 not only immigrants with food, clothing, shelter, families that
- 21:59 have fled, but even help with tactical gear, some of the
- 22:03 heroes in some of the areas on the borders where they might not
- 22:06 have had, let's say, a helmet to protect their head and very
- 22:09 famous story went around the world that a bullet--I handed a
- 22:12 guy a helmet, a bullet hit right back here, and it just, you
- 22:14 know, well, that's what helmets do, and it was pip-ping, bounced
- 22:17 off, and I said, "Well, that's like a--" I was praying.
- 22:20 I said, "That's like a micro miracle.
- 22:22 That's what helmets are for.
- 22:23 That's why you wear them."
- 22:24 But I thought, I wish for a macro miracle, Lord, please will
- 22:27 you show the world that you really still do love these same
- 22:30 people that Moses led out of Egypt, that Joshua led into this
- 22:33 Promised Land?"
- 22:34 Then the missiles from Iran happened where that was a macro
- 22:38 miracle in my opinion.
- 22:40 They just swatted out of the air, and our technology
- 22:43 can't stop all the missiles, it really can't.
- 22:45 Caleb: Ninety-nine percent. Chaim: That was a miracle.
- 22:47 Caleb: That is a miracle in and of itself, but I know we want to
- 22:50 stand with what you're doing, all these things.
- 22:53 I know you're talking about these pliers and all these
- 22:56 different things that people need, helmets.
- 22:58 You're providing this, but you also have a car full of gear of
- 23:02 donations, thousands of dollars' worth of stuff.
- 23:04 Can you show us some of this stuff that you're donating?
- 23:06 Chaim: And the army tries our best to supply the things.
- 23:09 Joshua: But you have more reservists that don't have all
- 23:10 those tools.
- 23:12 Chaim: That's correct, and you're not always equipped and
- 23:13 just, I mean all kinds of stuff.
- 23:14 It goes--it's just crazy, all this stuff that God has blessed.
- 23:16 Caleb: Look at this stuff!
- 23:18 Chaim: I mean, that is so good when you're dealing not with
- 23:20 just with a car and you need to go, "drrr."
- 23:23 Imagine, you know how many bolts are on a tank or on a Nagmach or
- 23:26 on a--and you have--this is cordless and you just can do
- 23:29 things quicker when you're under fire, when you could die any
- 23:32 minute, when you're trying to mess with a bolt.
- 23:35 So it causes--it brought tears to my eyes actually on a prayer
- 23:38 call when people said, "We are praying for you, but we want to
- 23:41 also take some action and match that," instead of just being,
- 23:44 like, "One day we're gonna be on a cloud and--" Do you know after
- 23:48 time is over, the world is gone in the future, future after the
- 23:52 1000-year reign, what is one name from the old world
- 23:57 that remains?
- 23:59 Jerusalem.
- 24:00 Caleb: The New Jerusalem.
- 24:01 Chaim: The New Jerusalem.
- 24:03 It's still called Jerusalem.
- 24:04 It might be different looking, but it's still right in the same
- 24:07 realty, piece of realty of land, and there's lots more.
- 24:10 Caleb: Yeah, I really get the point, this is is survival.
- 24:11 Chaim: Tears came out. Caleb: Survival gear.
- 24:14 Caleb: This is the matter between life and death
- 24:15 for your soldiers.
- 24:17 Chaim: Yeah, I shed a bunch of tears and they were like,
- 24:18 "What's wrong with this guy?
- 24:20 He's supposed to be a tough soldier."
- 24:21 I am a tough soldier, but I started just--it was such an
- 24:23 emotional moment that we will be protected from death.
- 24:30 Joshua: Sergeant Major Lieutenant General
- 24:32 Chaim Malespin.
- 24:34 That's not his title.
- 24:35 It's Sergeant Chaim Malespin, and he is like the
- 24:36 Energizer bunny.
- 24:38 He is so full of energy, so full of life, which makes sense
- 24:40 because life is literally his name.
- 24:42 Chaim, life.
- 24:44 Welcome to Hebrew 101.
- 24:45 It is no wonder that the Israeli Defense Force trusts him to lead
- 24:49 his men into Gaza to find these tunnels that have traps laden
- 24:53 all about him to search for hostages.
- 24:55 Chaim and the Aliyah Return Center have been friends of Zola
- 24:58 Levitt Ministries for many, many years.
- 25:00 He helps Jewish people all over the world make aliyah to Israel
- 25:04 and then to acclimate into the country.
- 25:06 Both of his jobs are incredibly difficult, but both of them are
- 25:10 incredibly important.
- 25:12 Caleb: That's right, guys.
- 25:13 Please consider supporting him.
- 25:15 You know that Psalm 2:1 says: "Why do the nations rage?"
- 25:19 Well, rage in Hebrew, [speaking in Hebrew]
- 25:22 comes from regesh, a word for feeling or sensitive.
- 25:25 You know, someone says, "you're being too sensitive."
- 25:27 That's where [speaking in Hebrew] is.
- 25:30 It says why are the nations so offended, so pushed to emotional
- 25:33 anger and rage that their uproar is united under one common goal,
- 25:38 the elimination of Israel?
- 25:40 See, it's amazing how the entire Arab world reacts the same way
- 25:43 that prophecy declares them to be.
- 25:45 Of Ishmael in scripture, their forefather, God prophetically
- 25:48 declared in Genesis 16:12: "He," Ishmael, "will be a wild donkey
- 25:53 of a man: his hand will be against everyone and everyone's
- 25:57 hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all
- 26:01 his brothers."
- 26:02 And Josh, this is true, every Arab tribe is always against the
- 26:04 other, at each other's throats, murdering each other.
- 26:07 They all hate one another, but they only unite in one voice at
- 26:11 their mutual and greater hatred for the sons of Isaac, the
- 26:15 Jewish people.
- 26:16 Josh, the hearts of these nations are held captive
- 26:18 by Satan.
- 26:19 It is our duty to be witness of Yeshua's light and love to set
- 26:23 even the Arab prisoner free.
- 26:25 I mean, God wants all men to come to know him as Yeshua.
- 26:29 Joshua: Yes, he does.
- 26:30 That is Jew, Gentile, Arabs, Persians, Egyptians, every one
- 26:33 of them.
- 26:34 He wants to spare them all from eternal torment in hell.
- 26:38 But they'll not know the truth of the gospel if we believers
- 26:40 don't share it with them.
- 26:42 Caleb: Yes.
- 26:43 Joshua: Thank you.
- 26:44 Thank you for supporting our mission together united, to
- 26:47 preach this gospel of Yeshua the Messiah that is so important,
- 26:51 the only gospel that will save men and women from an eternity

- 28:04 discussed in Bible prophecy for so many things coming up.
- 28:08 Caleb: Josh, this isn't talked about in Bible prophecy.
- 28:10 Joshua: Oh, well then, if you like massive weapons of warfare
- 28:13 from Israel's past, welcome.
- 28:15 Caleb: I mean, they have vehicles here from the
- 28:18 Arab-Israeli War for Independence, the Six Day War,
- 28:21 the Yom Kippur War, even tanks that they captured from
- 28:24 the enemy, such as Russian tanks.
