Episode: “The Diaspora”
In the most sobering moment ever filmed for Zola Levitt Ministries, Joshua and Caleb are granted unprecedented access to the remains of Kibbutz Be’eri. In the shadow of the horrific murders waged by Hamas, the brothers teach about the steps that led to the destruction of the 2nd Temple and the scattering of the remnant of the Hebrews. Unfortunately, many Christians have fallen prey to Satan’s master plot when utilizing Replacement Theology to displace the Jews of today from their God-given inheritance.
Series: “Rebuilding the Ruined Cities”
In this series, Joshua and Caleb visit war-torn areas in the Holy Land where they discuss hope and blessing amidst ruin and pain. God will faithfully fulfill His promise to heal, restore, and rebuild Israel once again: “‘They will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them … never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,’ says the Lord your God” (Amos 9:14–15).

Caption transcript for Rebuilding the Ruined Cities: “The Diaspora” (8/12)
- 00:10 Joshua Colson: Replacement theology is a deadly beast that
- 00:13 most people associate with teachings in Christian
- 00:15 denominations that declare God has replaced the Jews in his
- 00:19 covenant promises, and the church is now the recipient.
- 00:32 Caleb Colson: Obviously replacement theology is false,
- 00:34 but it still abounds in different non-religious circles,
- 00:37 and is gaining traction lately with people who believe and
- 00:40 teach that the Jews in Israel today are not biblical Jews, but
- 00:44 European impostors.
- 00:46 Thus, they must be replaced with Palestinians.
- 00:49 Now, we're going to dispel that myth today.
- 00:53 Caleb: Deuteronomy 28:64-66, "Then the Lord will scatter you
- 00:58 among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other, and
- 01:01 there you shall serve other gods, which neither you nor your
- 01:04 fathers have known-- wood and stone.
- 01:06 And among those nations you shall find no rest, nor shall
- 01:09 the sole of your foot have a resting place; but there the
- 01:12 Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing eyes, and anguish
- 01:16 of soul.
- 01:17 Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day
- 01:21 and night, and have no assurance of life."
- 01:24 male: Okay, this was her store.
- 01:25 We're still here.
- 01:27 And we hear from our neighbors, "She was kidnapped, he
- 01:30 was kidnapped."
- 01:31 Others say, "They are slaughtering us."
- 01:34 I didn't understand because we saw nothing.
- 01:36 We were closed in the safe room.
- 01:38 And we know--we are told that if we want to lock the door, we
- 01:44 have to lift the handle upwards.
- 01:48 So, we closed the door, and we lock it, and now we're sitting
- 01:56 safe inside.
- 01:57 The window is closed, the door is closed, it's locked.
- 02:00 No one can enter.
- 02:02 And then we hear dragging furniture, a loud noise of
- 02:10 furniture dragging here and upstairs.
- 02:12 And we write to our neighbors, "Tell the army, the IDF, when
- 02:17 they're coming, this house maybe is a booby trapped.
- 02:21 Maybe they have positions upstairs with machine guns.
- 02:25 They will be waiting for you.
- 02:26 Tell them to be careful not to run inside."
- 02:30 Later, I know that they did these things in other houses, in
- 02:35 many houses, and a lot of soldiers were wounded or killed
- 02:42 when they were running, and then they didn't see the dozens or
- 02:47 hundreds of terrorists waiting all around them.
- 02:51 Caleb: We're here in Kibbutz Be‘eri.
- 02:54 We've been given special permission to film on this block
- 02:58 by the man who was just allowing us to go on the tour with him.
- 03:02 As you have seen from most of the footage, they have not
- 03:06 rebuilt the city yet.
- 03:08 In fact, not very many of the community has returned.
- 03:11 So many are months away from returning, so we want to show
- 03:15 you, and they want to show the world, what it still looks like
- 03:19 in their community in the aftermath of the attack because
- 03:24 this facility, as we were explained to, was held in
- 03:28 captivity, if you will, by Hamas for quite some time.
- 03:33 It took more time to clear this out than they thought it would
- 03:39 because there's so many, you know, bunkers and places for
- 03:43 them to hide, that the IDF had great difficulty finding them
- 03:50 all and killing them and clearing them out.
- 03:54 After the supernatural return of the Jews from exile from the
- 03:58 galut, you would've thought that it was all happiness, roses, a
- 04:02 good story.
- 04:04 I mean, Cyrus released them, they were allowed to go back and
- 04:07 rebuild, and by the time you thought Yeshua would come
- 04:11 around, it would have been a peaceful time, but it
- 04:16 actually wasn't.
- 04:18 It was actually time wrought with danger and persecution.
- 04:23 Here we are in the bunker.
- 04:25 This bunker saved the lives of the entire household that lived
- 04:29 here, the man who was just taking us on a tour, they had to
- 04:32 stay here, and it was because the terrorists couldn't
- 04:35 understand how to use the door handle is how they were saved.
- 04:39 But like I said, the Jews have had difficult time throughout
- 04:43 history, and up until the time of Yeshua, there was captivity,
- 04:48 and bondage, and release, and freedom, and it was just going
- 04:50 back and forth, back and forth, and in an emotional roller
- 04:55 coaster, if you will, of freedom to the captives.
- 04:58 Joshua: Obviously, we know that there were three main Diasporas
- 05:01 that everybody in history focuses these exiles into: the
- 05:05 first one being when Assyria struck the ten tribes, the
- 05:09 second one being--from Samaria--the second one being
- 05:13 when Judea was taken captive by Babylon, and of course, the
- 05:18 third, the Romans in the 70 AD.
- 05:20 This is obviously a very broad scope of these things and gets
- 05:23 way more detail--we don't have the hours to describe all the
- 05:25 details of everything that happened.
- 05:27 Caleb: But even before and between all those Diasporas,
- 05:31 during the conflict between the Persians and the Greeks, the
- 05:34 Jews were being scattered, they were being resettled all
- 05:36 around here.
- 05:37 They were finding homes in places like Egypt, in North
- 05:40 Africa, and Asia Minor, even going back to Babylon.
- 05:44 In fact, many of the captives that were left in Babylon and
- 05:48 Persia decided not to return back to Judea.
- 05:51 They had become wealthy, they had become comfortable in their
- 05:54 living environment, and they didn't want to return.
- 05:56 And when it comes to the ten tribes of Israel that were
- 06:00 scattered before that with the Assyrian Empire, a small
- 06:03 fraction did return, but a lot of them liked to stay in the
- 06:06 further reaches of Russia and all around the world where they
- 06:08 were scattered.
- 06:12 Joshua: Matthew 24:1-2, "Then Jesus went out and departed from
- 06:16 the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the
- 06:19 buildings of the temple.
- 06:20 And Jesus said to them, 'Do you not see all these things?
- 06:24 Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon
- 06:28 another, that shall not be thrown down.'"
- 06:31 Caleb: You can see the bullet holes here in the window clearly
- 06:35 left behind as a reminder to anyone who comes in and views
- 06:39 this property of the acts of terrorism that were here.
- 06:43 You know, Yeshua grew up in one of the most tumultuous times
- 06:45 in history.
- 06:47 The Roman Empire had taken over most of the known world.
- 06:52 From the time that they return from exile, up in the time of
- 06:56 Yeshua, there's 500 years of really tumultuous history.
- 07:00 There was up and down, up and down, and persecution, and
- 07:03 bondage like I had mentioned, and the Jews were waiting for
- 07:07 a deliverer.
- 07:09 They were waiting for someone like Cyrus to come again and
- 07:13 deliver them from captivity from the bondage of the Romans.
- 07:16 Joshua: Yeshua was the Lamb of God to take on the sins of the
- 07:20 world after living a perfect life.
- 07:22 You know the story well, he lived a perfect life, he died,
- 07:25 was resurrected, rose again, went up to sit on the right-hand
- 07:29 side of the Father, and as these new believers, these new
- 07:31 Christians began to go across and begin to witness, this
- 07:35 became a problem because the Romans were still there and the
- 07:37 Romans were still very much against them.
- 07:39 Now the religious Jews at this time, they continued to get more
- 07:41 and more greedy because they got money from the benefactors that
- 07:44 wanted to keep their thumb on Christianity, and so uprising
- 07:48 after uprising, attempting to throw off the yoke of the
- 07:51 Romans continued to prove unsuccessful.
- 07:54 Caleb: Now, there was a vying for power, even after Yeshua's
- 08:00 time, he went up to heaven.
- 08:02 The Jews kept on trying many revolts, time and time after
- 08:05 again to gain their freedom.
- 08:07 During the time of 66 AD and 135 AD were the time of the
- 08:13 Jewish wars.
- 08:14 Now during this time, the Jews were led by many rebels,
- 08:19 campaigns to try to throw off the Roman yoke.
- 08:23 We know that there was one named Josephus who was a
- 08:27 Jewish historian.
- 08:28 He himself was a leader of a Jewish revolt, but his whole
- 08:33 group, his squadron, if you will, committed suicide.
- 08:36 He was supposed to also, but he didn't, he ended up surrendering
- 08:38 to the Romans.
- 08:40 And when he surrendered to the Romans, he ended up gaining
- 08:43 their favor.
- 08:44 He became a Roman citizen.
- 08:46 He gained the favor of Vespasian.
- 08:48 And as being a Roman citizen, he had the opportunity to go in
- 08:52 when the Romans were conquering Jerusalem in 70 AD, and he is
- 08:56 the eyewitness account we have to chronicle every event with
- 09:01 specificity of what happened to the Jews.
- 09:04 So I'd like to read to you from the book of Josephus,
- 09:07 "Antiquities of the Jews," because he explains that during
- 09:09 this time that the Jews were about to have the second temple
- 09:13 destroyed, they were about to have the city destroyed, that
- 09:17 God gave warning signs to try to get them to turn back to him,
- 09:22 warning signs to even escape, but they failed to notice him.
- 09:27 So here, Josephus, "Wars of the Jews" book 6, chapter 5, he
- 09:32 writes, "Thus there was a star resembling a sword, which stood
- 09:35 over the city, and a comet that continued a whole year."
- 09:40 That was the first sign Josephus declared that God warned the
- 09:43 Jews that judgment was coming and there's gonna be destruction
- 09:45 coming to Jerusalem.
- 09:47 We're actually here right now, the fence is right here.
- 09:49 The border, to Gaza is not far from here.
- 09:52 We're hearing explosions because of the campaign in Gaza is
- 09:55 still ongoing.
- 09:56 As you see the signs behind me, these were the people who were
- 10:01 kidnapped from this facility, and we heard a few of them have
- 10:04 returned since then.
- 10:06 But there were more signs that God warned the Jews that
- 10:09 destruction was coming.
- 10:11 Joshua: Sign number two, Josephus mentions that at the
- 10:13 last Passover there was a bright light that enveloped the altar
- 10:18 and the temple, and that for 30 minutes outside, even though it
- 10:21 was night, that bright light could be seen.
- 10:22 Caleb: That's right.
- 10:24 Now sign three was actually rather interesting.
- 10:29 This still took place during Pesach, the feast of Passover,
- 10:34 and during that time there was a heifer that was being led
- 10:38 to sacrifice.
- 10:40 And while this heifer was being led to be sacrificed, she gave
- 10:44 birth, imagine that.
- 10:46 She apparently gave birth to a lamb.
- 10:48 I know that sounds bizarre, this is what the historian Josephus
- 10:51 declares as a sign from God that doom was coming.
- 10:56 Joshua: Sign number four, the eastern gate opened by itself.
- 10:59 Now this was known to be a very heavy gate, possibly made of
- 11:01 brass, and normally took 20 men to open, opened by itself.
- 11:06 Caleb: Sign number five, I'd like to read this, is several
- 11:08 days after Pesach at sunset, Josephus declares, "Before
- 11:12 sunsetting, chariots and troops of soldiers in their armor were
- 11:16 seen running about among the clouds and the surrounding of
- 11:19 the cities."
- 11:21 Joshua: Sign six is also a quote.
- 11:22 During Shavuot Pentecost, an earthquake came, and quote says,
- 11:26 "It sound as if a great multitude saying, 'Let us
- 11:29 remove hence.'"
- 11:31 Caleb: Now the final sign, the seventh sign, it's
- 11:34 really interesting.
- 11:35 There apparently was a prophet, if you will, a man named Jesus,
- 11:40 son of Ananias, and for four years this prophet went about
- 11:44 the city of Jerusalem crying out, "Woe, woe to Jerusalem,
- 11:48 woe, woe, to the city."
- 11:51 He never stopped, day and night.
- 11:53 They persecuted this man, they beat him, they tortured him.
- 11:57 He never slept, he just cried out, day or night.
- 12:00 This is interesting how this story ends, because when the
- 12:03 siege of Jerusalem came--from the Romans were, you know,
- 12:08 catapulting the city and they were attacking, this man,
- 12:12 this prophet said, "Woe, woe to the city again, and to the
- 12:15 people and to the holy house."
- 12:17 And just as he added the last "Woe woe to myself," suddenly a
- 12:22 Roman catapult with a huge rock struck him and killed
- 12:24 him instantly.
- 12:26 Joshua: These are crazy lengths, if Josephus reported all this
- 12:29 accurately, that God went to to show the signs to his people.
- 12:35 Caleb: The Diaspora of the Jews from the Romans led them places
- 12:39 such as back to Babylonia, Persia, you know, they went to
- 12:43 Asia, all the way up to Russia, northern Africa, places like
- 12:47 Egypt, Carthage, they even, of course, went all the way over
- 12:51 Europe, but everywhere where the Jews went, they were subject to
- 12:56 persecution, to scorn, even threats of death, just as Moses
- 12:59 declared prophetically would happen in Deuteronomy 28.
- 13:03 Joshua: Satan has always had antichrists attempting to take
- 13:06 out the Jewish people, even some waiting in the wings.
- 13:08 We look at Emperor Hadrian in 135 AD, he squashes this final
- 13:13 Jewish rebellion, and he renames the land Palaestina, after their
- 13:18 age-old enemy, the Philistines, Palestine.
- 13:21 This term he gave them was because it was their enemy, it
- 13:24 was to mock the Jewish people that they had been conquered.
- 13:27 But these Philistines, they were seafaring marauders.
- 13:31 They were light-skinned.
- 13:32 They weren't Semitic, dark-skinned Canaanite people
- 13:36 that we say that they were today.
- 13:38 And in fact, nobody in this area ever called themselves
- 13:43 Palestine, they never called themselves Palestinians.
- 13:45 There was not a country.
- 13:47 There was never ever in the history in this area anyone who
- 13:49 did that.
- 13:51 Caleb: But God has something more powerful to declare about
- 13:54 who has the territorial right to that country, and Hadrian should
- 13:57 have read the scripture in Genesis 35.
- 14:00 It declares, "After Jacob returned from Paddan Aram, God
- 14:05 appeared to him again and blessed him.
- 14:07 God said to him, 'Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be
- 14:10 called Jacob; your name will be Israel.'
- 14:14 So he named him Israel.
- 14:15 And God said to him, 'I am God Almighty; be fruitful and
- 14:19 increase in number.
- 14:20 A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and
- 14:23 kings will be among your descendants.
- 14:25 The land I give to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I
- 14:30 will give this land to your descendants after you.'"
- 14:34 Now during the Jews's almost 2,000 years of Diaspora, they
- 14:38 would endure heavy persecution.
- 14:41 We're gonna go through some of the best of--more like worst of
- 14:44 moments that the Jews have suffered throughout history just
- 14:48 for the sake of existing.
- 14:51 Joshua: First may seem like a rabbit trail, but stick with me.
- 14:54 For 300 years, the Christians were taught to witness to the
- 14:57 Jews first, but then Paul gets this mission to go out to the
- 15:01 Gentiles and begins leading them to Christ.
- 15:04 Well, these Christians became the most persecuted, the enemy
- 15:07 number one, if you will.
- 15:09 Satan thought, "Man, this is what's going to take them down."
- 15:12 But all of a sudden this surprise happened and made them
- 15:15 stronger, and he had to pivot.
- 15:17 He realized that instead of persecuting and attacking them
- 15:19 from the outside, he had infiltrate and corrupt them from
- 15:22 the inside.
- 15:23 Caleb: So here's how it happened.
- 15:25 Back in 312 AD, the Emperor Constantine the Great, he was
- 15:31 gonna go to battle-- Battle of Milvian Bridge.
- 15:36 And Christianity was being persecuted at this point
- 15:39 in history.
- 15:40 Satan thought, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em,"
- 15:42 like Josh said.
- 15:43 So it is said that for this great battle that was coming up
- 15:47 where Constantine the Great needed to claim the western half
- 15:50 of the Roman Empire, that when he was asleep, he had a dream in
- 15:54 which Jesus appeared to him, or so he said.
- 15:57 Then next, he claimed that he saw a vision of a flaming cross
- 16:01 in the sky, and he heard a great booming voice say, "In Hoc Signo
- 16:07 Vinces," in this sign you shall conquer.
- 16:11 That's exactly what he did.
- 16:13 He painted a blood red cross on the shields and the armor of his
- 16:18 soldiers, they went to battle, and they won.
- 16:21 And this began the conquering effect of Christianity to defeat
- 16:25 their enemies.
- 16:27 It sounds kind of Muslimy doesn't it?
- 16:28 Not very Christiany.
- 16:35 Joshua: Now Constantine legalized Christianity with the
- 16:38 Edict of Milan.
- 16:39 He solidified power behind the church, and his strength grew.
- 16:44 And then at the First Nicene Council, he literally resided as
- 16:48 the first pope, if you will, and he decided, or helped decide,
- 16:53 matters of doctrine and Scripture that would make the
- 16:57 church powerful for decades to come.
- 17:00 Caleb: He literally, in a sense, changed the way that one could
- 17:04 become a Christian.
- 17:05 Conversion was now different, it was no longer a matter of
- 17:07 the heart.
- 17:08 We don't know if he even believed in Yeshua himself, or
- 17:11 if he just used this as a method of obtaining power and claiming
- 17:16 territory, because now, by conquest, Christianity
- 17:20 became greater.
- 17:22 It was no longer a matter of the heart by accepting Yeshua.
- 17:25 Joshua: This is the first step of persecution against the
- 17:27 Jewish people because Constantine's successor, Emperor
- 17:30 Theodosius, he signs Christianity as being the
- 17:34 state religion.
- 17:35 And on top of that, if you weren't a Christian, then you
- 17:37 were persecuted in that religion that you were in, whether it be
- 17:40 Judaism, even Pagan rituals.
- 17:42 So at this point, overnight, every Roman becomes a Christian,
- 17:46 circumventing the repentance phase, believing in Yeshua,
- 17:49 calling out to him, submitting to him in any way.
- 17:52 At this point, Satan has won twice because he has taken the
- 17:58 Christianity and completely altered and changed its DNA to
- 18:02 where it's now counterfeit, and now he set the Jews up to
- 18:05 be persecuted.
- 18:08 Matthew 7:15-16, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you
- 18:13 in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are
- 18:16 ravenous wolves.
- 18:18 You will know them by their fruits."
- 18:20 Satan had now found a way to weaponize Christianity.
- 18:24 Converts were made by the edge of the sword.
- 18:27 Man had now become the head of the church, replacing Yeshua as
- 18:30 the head of the church.
- 18:32 So, I'm sorry everyone, at this point, I gotta say, Constantine,
- 18:35 false, not good.
- 18:38 Caleb: Because of him, Christians, so-called followers
- 18:40 of Christ, became the vehicle in which persecution would come to
- 18:44 the Jewish people.
- 18:45 You've all heard of the crusades, one of the darkest
- 18:47 times that the Jews remember in history, where these Knights
- 18:50 Templar, these honorable Christian soldiers, would go on
- 18:55 campaigns to gain wealth, glory, and power on their way to
- 18:57 cleanse Jerusalem of the evil Muslims.
- 19:01 Along their way they killed every Jew in their path.
- 19:03 They were actually sacrilegious, blasphemous, cult of Luciferians
- 19:09 who truly did not believe in God, but cared only for their
- 19:12 own pocketbooks.
- 19:13 This is why the Jews just remember this as their darkest
- 19:17 time in history.
- 19:18 Joshua: Unfortunately, the Jewish people didn't fare well
- 19:20 during that time period in the modern Middle East because the
- 19:22 rise of this false god, Allah, takes place, and the Islamic
- 19:27 faith and the Muslim people take after the Christian's example
- 19:31 and begin to lay waste by the sword for converts, and there's
- 19:36 great persecution that takes place to their people.
- 19:39 Caleb: During the Middle Ages, some of the greatest persecution
- 19:41 against the Jews took place.
- 19:44 They were not welcomed in many of their host nations.
- 19:46 They remember during these medieval times, if you will, the
- 19:50 expulsion of the Jews from England in 1290.
- 19:54 Then, there was the expulsion of the Jews in 1492 from Spain.
- 19:58 Everybody knows of the Spanish Inquisitions, you convert,
- 20:01 confess, or die.
- 20:03 And then, after that would follow the pogroms in Russia.
- 20:06 The Jews were thrown out every country that they were at first
- 20:09 welcomed in, but each new country that they would go to,
- 20:13 God blessed them, God prospered in, because his hand was always
- 20:17 upon them.
- 20:20 Joshua: Because of intense persecution, we see that the
- 20:23 Jewish people began to maintain their traditions, stay focused
- 20:28 on their group, keeping anonymity, intermarrying
- 20:30 within themselves.
- 20:32 And because of this and their avoidance of other cultures, we
- 20:35 see that they were categorized into three main categories.
- 20:38 Caleb: And the first is the Ashkenazi, you've probably heard
- 20:41 about them during the Middle Ages, they settled in northern
- 20:45 and eastern Europe.
- 20:46 In the second, the Sephardic Jews, they were from Spain and
- 20:49 Portugal, but also areas of North Africa.
- 20:52 And the third, the Mizrahi Jews, those are the Middle
- 20:55 Eastern Jews of descent, always Babylonian Jews and any of the
- 21:01 Caucasus, all these Jews are mixed together, but they're
- 21:06 still originating in the same bloodline of Abraham, Isaac,
- 21:10 and Jacob.
- 21:11 Joshua: The problem with the bigotry of modern replacement
- 21:13 theology is that they make claims, such as the Ashkenazis
- 21:17 can't be real Jews because they must have intermarried, they
- 21:20 must have taken on European traditions, converted, so they
- 21:24 can't be real Jews.
- 21:25 They take the Khazars, for instance, and say, "Oh look at
- 21:27 these, these are a group that just decided to convert
- 21:30 to Judaism.
- 21:31 Henceforth, all Jews came from them, and no one is a Jew."
- 21:33 This makes a ton of sense, right?
- 21:34 Look at everything that's happened to the Jewish people.
- 21:36 There's just people waiting to sign up to be Jews to
- 21:38 be persecuted.
- 21:40 I don't believe that.
- 21:41 Caleb: Actually, we have modern historians with such detailed
- 21:45 histories and chronologies that can verify the exact path that
- 21:51 the Jews traveled in Diaspora, and now with modern DNA testing
- 21:56 they can prove that the Ashkenazi Jews in Europe have
- 21:59 little to any bloodlines that were polluted from those other
- 22:02 host nations because they maintained their Jewishness for
- 22:06 the sake of their own survival.
- 22:17 It's a miracle that the Jewish people have survived concerted
- 22:20 efforts throughout millennia to wipe them off the face of
- 22:23 the earth.
- 22:25 It's been a really tough teaching for us here at
- 22:28 Kibbutz Be‘eri.
- 22:31 You can see this destruction all around us, the signs of the
- 22:35 persecution of the Jewish people merely for existing, merely for
- 22:38 believing on the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
- 22:42 But yet we have that promise, that covenant that God made with
- 22:46 his chosen people that no matter what happens, he will always
- 22:51 save them, he will always restore them, he will always
- 22:54 bring them back.
- 22:55 He will always keep his promises to the people of Jacob, Israel.
- 23:01 Joshua: What happened on October 7 will be remembered for all
- 23:04 of time.
- 23:06 What Satan had meant for a great tragedy, God will turn around
- 23:10 for good.
- 23:11 Just like in times past, the Israelites have had to endure
- 23:17 great tragedy, to turn from their wicked ways, and
- 23:19 to repent.
- 23:20 We see today, from this event alone, more Jewish people
- 23:25 turning to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob than ever
- 23:29 before, turning from their sin, and submitting to repentance.
- 23:34 Caleb: It's time for each and every one of you to stand for
- 23:37 truth, to stand for the Jewish people, and to stand for the one
- 23:43 true God.
- 23:45 Joshua: 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If My people who are called by My
- 23:50 name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn
- 23:54 from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will
- 23:57 forgive their sin and heal their land."
- 24:01 I'm constantly humbled in my life to be allowed into places
- 24:09 of great importance, great tragedy, where life has been
- 24:14 lost, history has been made.
- 24:17 I've seen so much in such a short time of my life, and today
- 24:20 we're blessed to be able to visit and tell these stories
- 24:24 from Kibbutz Be'eri.
- 24:25 On October 7th, 130 people lost their lives here.
- 24:28 Caleb and I chose to watch the uncut footage of those lives
- 24:32 being taken that day, so going into these rooms, even though we
- 24:39 didn't have family here, has more of an emotional moving for
- 24:43 us because we actually saw how the people lost their lives,
- 24:47 very gruesome ways.
- 24:50 Beyond what is so tragic about those lives lost and how they
- 24:54 were lost is the reason behind why they were lost.
- 24:58 Antisemitism boils down to the hate of Satan himself against
- 25:03 God, the Creator of the universe, because God chose
- 25:07 Israel to be his people, and this angry, bitter creature
- 25:14 Satan is has spent his life trying to harm God's kids.
- 25:20 And yet today, there are still so many Jewish people who don't
- 25:24 even know that Yeshua is their Messiah, and that he is who they
- 25:29 have been waiting for, literally since the beginning of
- 25:33 their people.
- 25:37 When I look at the acts of hate that are committed throughout
- 25:40 history and the stance that man takes on them, it begins with
- 25:44 this fear, this fear that we have to support or defend
- 25:49 ourselves against everyone else,
- 25:51 this anger that rises out of this to show that we're right by
- 25:57 putting to the sword everyone else that doesn't believe the
- 26:00 way we do, right?
- 26:02 God who is a God of love says, "I am the way, the truth, and
- 26:05 the life.
- 26:06 No man comes to the Father but by me."
- 26:09 He never condemned a man to die, he sent his own Son to die.
- 26:15 Man asked for a law.
- 26:18 Man asked God, "I wanna be able to justify myself.
- 26:21 I wanna be able to earn my own salvation."
- 26:23 God said, "If you wanna do that, here's the law.
- 26:26 This is what's required out of you."
- 26:27 Man couldn't do it, they failed.
- 26:29 Yeshua was the only man in the history of mankind who lived by
- 26:33 that law perfectly and became our sacrifice when he gave his
- 26:37 life up for us, which allowed us to receive salvation so that no
- 26:42 single human being on this planet could claim that they
- 26:44 have earned it through their good works, through the
- 26:47 following of a prophet or some other man who claims to be of
- 26:49 God, but that we could always know for eternity in the history
- 26:53 of this planet that the only way to get to the Father was through
- 26:55 his Son, Yeshua.
- 26:57 I want you to ask the Holy Spirit to examine your heart.
- 27:01 I want you to ask him to reveal to you the areas that you need
- 27:04 forgiveness and repentance from, and I want you to repent, not
- 27:08 because I'm telling you to, but because the God of the universe
- 27:10 loves you so much and he paid a price that was worth your
- 27:13 humility today.
- 27:15 There's nothing greater than humbling yourself.
- 27:18 You may think that you know that you know that you know that you
- 27:20 know that your way is right.
- 27:23 But the Bible says that there's a way that seems right unto man,
- 27:27 and unfortunately that leads to destruction.
- 27:30 Today is the day that you have to choose.
- 27:33 Choose to understand that there's one reason and one
- 27:35 reason alone that you were created and put on this planet,
- 27:39 and it's to reach someone else with the love of Yeshua.
- 27:43 Make that choice before the person you were supposed to meet
- 27:47 ended up in this home without the opportunity to repent.
- 28:01 Caleb: When most people hear the word "pogrom," they think of
- 28:03 stories like "Fiddler on the Roof."
- 28:05 The pogrom is acts incited by hatred against the Jewish people
- 28:10 on a massive scale with the intent to expel them from their
- 28:15 homes, or even kill them.
- 28:16 Joshua: This is why it is so vitally important that we, as
- 28:20 true Christ-followers, stand up and show that we are not the
- 28:23 fake Christians of yesterday who massacred the Jewish people, who
- 28:28 never truly accepted Yeshua as their Lord and Savior.
