  • 02:14 The kingdom is gonna be a wonderful age to live in,
  • 02:16 my goodness.
  • 02:18 The population basically will start out with all believers.
  • 02:22 Old Testament saints, I mean from the Garden of Eden
  • 02:25 all the way through, then the entire Christian church.
  • 02:30 All the believers translated in the rapture came back
  • 02:34 with the Lord.
  • 02:35 We were in heaven with the Lord for the judgment seat of the
  • 02:37 righteous and the wedding to the Lord, and then we return
  • 02:39 in the second coming to start the kingdom along with
  • 02:43 the resurrected Old Testament saints.
  • 02:46 And the third group will be the sheep, the martyrs of the
  • 02:49 Tribulation period, the ones who were beheaded for their faith,
  • 02:55 and also the living of the time when the Lord holds
  • 03:00 the sheep and goats' judgment.
  • 03:02 The people alive who have not taken the number of the beast
  • 03:08 and somehow survive the Tribulation will be designated
  • 03:11 as sheep and taken to the kingdom.
  • 03:13 The believers who were beheaded
  • 03:14 will be resurrected at this time,
  • 03:16 like the Old Testament saints, and also taken to the kingdom.
  • 03:20 So on day one of the kingdom, we'll have a society
  • 03:24 entirely of believers.
  • 03:28 But you know, these people that came in in their natural bodies
  • 03:30 from the Tribulation, the sheep, if a woman is pregnant
  • 03:34 and she has her baby on day two, that is the first unbeliever
  • 03:38 in the kingdom.
  • 03:40 And so it will be, people in natural bodies who did not go in
  • 03:42 the rapture, who were not changed for immortality will
  • 03:47 marry and give in marriage right along, and they will have
  • 03:51 a great many children.
  • 03:52 There will be no death in the kingdom, or very little death.
  • 03:56 The prophet says it'll be a shame for a man to die
  • 03:58 at 100 years old.
  • 04:00 Most people survive the entire 1,000-year kingdom.
  • 04:04 Therefore, there is an ever-growing population of
  • 04:07 unbelievers in the kingdom.
  • 04:10 People suppose it's a time of bliss and so forth.
  • 04:12 There is a time of bliss coming, which is eternity,
  • 04:15 but the kingdom has some unbelievers.
  • 04:17 Naturally, the pressure'll be on them to be saved
  • 04:20 and they probably will be saved.
  • 04:23 Jesus Christ, I guess, will be on television every night.
  • 04:25 He'll be in the temple in Jerusalem.
  • 04:28 He'll be here in this city which I didn't introduce to you
  • 04:31 because I'm sure you know it.
  • 04:33 This is Jerusalem and this is the heart of the kingdom.
  • 04:38 Now, Daniel 7:13-14 says, "I saw in the night visions, and,
  • 04:44 behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven,
  • 04:48 and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him
  • 04:51 near before him."
  • 04:53 This is a parallel to the Revelation scenes of the throne
  • 04:57 room in heaven, and here's the Son coming before the Father.
  • 05:00 And it says, "And there was given him dominion, and glory,
  • 05:03 and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages should
  • 05:07 serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion,

  • 05:16 So, the kingdom goes on.
  • 05:18 Nobody can stop it, nobody can hurt it, and it is for us.
  • 05:23 This indeed is the time that the meek shall inherit the earth.
  • 05:28 This is exactly the meaning of that.
  • 05:32 Dwight Pentecost wrote a magnificent article in his
  • 05:36 "Things to Come," and I just wanted to quote from it
  • 05:39 because it's said so well.
  • 05:41 "This Millennial time period," he wrote, "looked at from the
  • 05:45 Father's side will be the public earthly honoring of His Son
  • 05:48 just where men dishonored Him on this earth.
  • 05:51 It will be the carrying out of God's promises to His Son,
  • 05:54 and the prophecies concerning Him, to," quote, "give unto Him
  • 05:57 the throne of His father David," unquote.
  • 06:01 "It is the final trial of sinful man on this earth
  • 06:04 before the earth is destroyed.
  • 06:05 It will be God's answer of the prayer of his saints: 'Thy
  • 06:08 Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.'
  • 06:11 Looked at from the perspective of Christ it is the time after
  • 06:14 His long patience, He receives the kingdom of the world,
  • 06:18 which He has been constantly 'expecting,' there at God's
  • 06:20 right hand, and He will reign in righteousness.
  • 06:23 At last He will be able to confer upon the meek of the
  • 06:26 earth the place and inheritance He ever loved to promise them!
  • 06:30 He will share all His kingly honors with His saints."
  • 06:34 And so, Luke 11:2 says, "And he said unto them,
  • 06:37 When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven,
  • 06:40 Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come.
  • 06:42 Thy will be done, in heaven, as it is on earth."
  • 06:46 This wonderful prayer, the Lord's prayer,
  • 06:49 is about the kingdom.
  • 06:50 That's exactly its subject.
  • 06:53 Isaiah covers the government of the kingdom in this manner,
  • 06:57 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
  • 07:01 government shall be upon his shoulders: and his name shall be
  • 07:04 called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God,
  • 07:06 The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
  • 07:09 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall
  • 07:11 be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom,
  • 07:14 to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice
  • 07:19 from henceforth even for ever.
  • 07:21 The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this."
  • 07:24 So, that should introduce the kingdom.
  • 07:27 And when I come back, I'm gonna tell you a couple of events that

  • 09:14 Zola: Well, you know, Daniel gives a kind of schedule of two
  • 09:17 events at the beginning of the kingdom, or we might say just
  • 09:21 after the second coming, and I was playing with those.
  • 09:25 If you know something about the Jewish calendar and when
  • 09:28 the various feasts occur, you can come up with
  • 09:31 an interesting conclusion.
  • 09:32 And I'm not insisting on this as doctrine, it's just, like I say,
  • 09:36 I was playing with the numbers.
  • 09:37 Daniel 12:11-12 says, "And from the time that the daily
  • 09:42 sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh
  • 09:46 desolate set up," that's the midpoint of the Tribulation
  • 09:49 when the antichrist goes in and blasphemes in the temple.
  • 09:53 The Lord called the abomination of desolation,
  • 09:56 and also the prophet Daniel.
  • 09:58 "There shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days,"
  • 10:02 1,290 days after that midpoint.
  • 10:06 Then it says, "Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh
  • 10:08 to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days,"
  • 10:12 1,335 days after that midpoint of the Tribulation.
  • 10:17 Well, what I came up with was this.
  • 10:21 The end of the Tribulation would really be
  • 10:24 1,260 past the blasphemy of the antichrist.
  • 10:28 That's exactly half of a 7-year period with 30-day months,
  • 10:32 and that's actually given in Revelation 11, 1,260 days
  • 10:37 is a half Tribulation period.
  • 10:39 Well, if he wants 1,290 days so it extends 30 days
  • 10:43 into the kingdom, so to speak.
  • 10:45 And then his second number, 1,335 days, that extends
  • 10:49 to 75 days into the kingdom.
  • 10:53 And I started to wonder what events might happen
  • 10:57 at those times.
  • 10:59 There really are two things that have to happen
  • 11:00 as the kingdom gets underway.
  • 11:02 Number one, that judgment of the sheep and the goats.
  • 11:04 When the Lord comes back in the second coming, all the souls
  • 11:08 on earth that are alive have to be gathered before him
  • 11:12 and he judges them, separates the sheep from the goats.
  • 11:17 And the sheep go into the kingdom, the goats are bound
  • 11:19 with Satan 1,000 years until the great white throne of judgment
  • 11:24 at the end of the kingdom.
  • 11:26 Well, he sets up that throne, I supposed, on the 30-day mark,
  • 11:31 and then the second event would be the dedication
  • 11:35 of the kingdom itself, of his millennial temple,
  • 11:38 of the real start of the thing.
  • 11:40 Like Solomon dedicating his temple if you remember, like the
  • 11:45 feast of dedication that they did at rededication when
  • 11:50 the Maccabees overthrew the Greco-Syrians in 165 B.C.,
  • 11:57 and so he would dedicate his kingdom temple
  • 12:00 with a special ceremony.
  • 12:03 Well, from there, I decided, well, the end of the kingdom,
  • 12:06 we know when the second coming is.
  • 12:08 It's on a day of atonement, because in Zechariah 12:10 it
  • 12:12 says, "Israel will look upon him whom they've pierced and mourn
  • 12:15 for him as for an only son, and a fountain of cleansing will be
  • 12:18 open until the house of David."
  • 12:20 Paul says, "All Israel will be saved when the deliverer
  • 12:22 shall come out of Zion."
  • 12:24 So the second coming is on a day of atonement,
  • 12:29 and we know the date.
  • 12:30 It's the tenth day of the seventh month.
  • 12:32 That's the day of atonement every year.
  • 12:34 So, to get to the 30-day mark, we just go over to the 10th day
  • 12:38 of the 8th month.
  • 12:40 Now, that I think is when the Lord sets up that throne of
  • 12:42 judgment, 30 days, answering to the idea that David was 30 when
  • 12:48 he began to reign, Solomon was 30 when he began to reign, the
  • 12:51 Lord was 30 when he began his earthly ministry of teaching.
  • 12:55 Thirty seems to be, in Jewish culture and most every culture,
  • 12:59 the age of the career maturity of a man, you might say.
  • 13:04 A man could drive a car at 16, and he can vote at 21, but we
  • 13:09 know that he should be about 30 before he's found his career.
  • 13:13 And Jesus as the great judge in the kingdom then comes
  • 13:16 to his throne, let's say at the 30-day period.
  • 13:19 More compelling though is the 75 days.
  • 13:22 If you go from the 10th day of the 7th month, 30 days would be
  • 13:26 the 10th day of the 8th month, 30 more days, making 60 the 10th
  • 13:30 day of the 9th month, then you need 15 more days to make up 75.
  • 13:35 That would be the 25th day of the 9th month.
  • 13:38 The 25th of Kislev.
  • 13:40 That's not just any day, that's Hanukkah.
  • 13:43 That's the feast of dedication.
  • 13:45 Jesus celebrated it.
  • 13:46 In John 10:22 it says, "It was winter and he came down
  • 13:49 to Jerusalem for the feast of dedication."
  • 13:52 That feast is when they rededicated the temple after
  • 13:56 Antiochus, and it will be evidently the day that Christ
  • 14:00 will dedicate his memorial temple on earth,
  • 14:04 his ruling house in the kingdom to come.
  • 14:06 That's my guess as to what those numbers in Daniel refer to.
  • 14:10 Now, the government will be set up and it will be righteous
  • 14:14 for a change.
  • 14:15 Oh, won't that be nice?
  • 14:17 And there's quite a bit of commentary in Scripture on not
  • 14:20 just the king, but on the people that assist him in governing.
  • 14:24 Isaiah 11:4-9 describes the kingdom itself
  • 14:27 with these great passages.
  • 14:29 "With righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with
  • 14:31 equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite
  • 14:34 the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and the breath of his
  • 14:36 lips shall he slay the wicked."
  • 14:38 And then all the passages that follow about the lion eating
  • 14:42 straw like the ox, and a child playing at the snake's den.
  • 14:46 And "They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy
  • 14:50 mountain," the passage ends, "for the earth shall be full of
  • 14:53 the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."
  • 14:57 What a wonderful time that'll be.
  • 15:00 And then in regard to these judges, princes, people that
  • 15:03 help the Lord govern, Ezekiel 45:8 says, "In the land shall be
  • 15:08 his possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my
  • 15:12 people; and the rest of the land shall they give to the house
  • 15:15 of Israel according to their tribes."
  • 15:17 It's a reference to the whole house of Israel which includes
  • 15:21 believers of all times.
  • 15:23 If the church is adopted and inherits the blessings of
  • 15:27 Israel, well, this is one of the inheritances,
  • 15:29 a portion of the land in Israel, and no more corrupt governors,
  • 15:34 or princes they call them, over these people,
  • 15:36 but perfectly righteous ones.
  • 15:40 The disciples were wondering if they could have position
  • 15:43 in the kingdom.
  • 15:44 They spoke to Jesus about it and he said in Matthew 19:28,
  • 15:48 "Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the
  • 15:51 regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his
  • 15:55 glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones,
  • 15:58 judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
  • 16:01 So, the disciples do have an important position
  • 16:03 in the kingdom to come.
  • 16:05 Zechariah 3:7 says, "Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt
  • 16:09 walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge,
  • 16:12 then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep
  • 16:16 my courts, and I will give thee places
  • 16:19 to walk among these that stand by," an implication
  • 16:22 that all of us who follow him are rewarded
  • 16:24 in the kingdom to come.
  • 16:27 And that ends with a great verse, Zechariah 3:10, "In that
  • 16:31 day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his
  • 16:35 neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree."
  • 16:39 The Scofield Bible says, "Verse 10 marks the time
  • 16:41 of fulfillment as in the future kingdom.
  • 16:44 It speaks of a security which Israel has never known since
  • 16:47 the captivity, nor will know till the time
  • 16:50 the kingdom comes," and that's quite right.
  • 16:55 Israel now is in terrible tension, as you know.
  • 16:58 It sort of always has been.
  • 17:00 It's always been a difficult place to be and I think that's
  • 17:04 just because it's real interesting to the enemy of God.
  • 17:07 If he could somehow get rid of Jerusalem, get rid of the Jewish
  • 17:10 people, this Bible would be the relic book of an extinct people
  • 17:15 and of no interest.
  • 17:16 But as long as they're here and as long as they survive,
  • 17:18 and they will survive, you can count on this Bible being
  • 17:22 important to the whole world.
  • 17:24 Isaiah 26 wraps it up this way, "And I will restore thy judges

  • 20:49 I know at the beginning of the program I said,
  • 20:51 "Will we be young or old?"
  • 20:53 But I don't think it'll even matter, will it?
  • 20:54 David: What does it look like?
  • 20:56 Jeffrey: Well, it's tragic.
  • 20:57 In the world today, people don't wanna deal with Israel
  • 20:58 for 1,000 years.
  • 21:00 They don't wanna deal with it for 1,000 seconds.
  • 21:01 When the United Nations get together, the way they wanna
  • 21:03 deal with Israel is to dismiss it entirely.
  • 21:07 The problem isn't just with the world at large.
  • 21:09 The church at large is predisposed
  • 21:11 to just dismiss Israel.
  • 21:13 When Christian theology initially developed, Israel
  • 21:15 wasn't a player on the stage of nations and people
  • 21:18 thought God was all done, and you know,
  • 21:20 Israel was put to bed, put to rest.
  • 21:23 And theology developed in its Catholic, Orthodox, and
  • 21:26 Protestant varieties, but apparently God didn't read
  • 21:29 the books because Israel has re-emerged fortuitously,
  • 21:33 providentially in the end of days, and it's going to be a
  • 21:36 headquarters in the final of days, but that doesn't comport
  • 21:40 with the sensibilities of many Christians.
  • 21:43 Kirsten: It's almost like they've had a different Bible,
  • 21:45 because the 1,000-year reign of Christ in Jerusalem is
  • 21:48 in this Bible that they dismiss.
  • 21:50 Jeffrey: Right, it's noted specifically in Revelation.
  • 21:52 The devil's unleashed.
  • 21:54 There'll be 1,000--you know, he's bound up for 1,000 years
  • 21:57 and then unleashed.
  • 21:59 There's a period of success and prosperity.
  • 22:01 It's headquartered in Jerusalem.
  • 22:03 For as much as people talk about, "We're gotta go by what
  • 22:05 the Bible says, what the Bible says," they might mean it as far
  • 22:08 as salvation goes, but they don't mean it as far as the Jews
  • 22:11 go, and salvation is from the Jews, not only in century 1
  • 22:15 but in the world to come.
  • 22:17 That's one of the reasons why I think programs like this are
  • 22:20 important, because we wanna take a look at the book in a way
  • 22:23 that includes the Jewish people and their own story.
  • 22:27 And certainly if you look at Revelation, where you get the
  • 22:31 word "millennial kingdom," the early church
  • 22:34 was beholden to that.
  • 22:36 Through time and circumstance, millennialism fell out of vogue.
  • 22:40 It was dusted off and began emerging in the 1800s along
  • 22:43 with the state of Israel.
  • 22:45 I'm so pleased by that.
  • 22:47 When you look at Ezekiel, he gives voice to something of the
  • 22:49 world to come with the bounty and the beauty, gives voice
  • 22:54 to the centralization of Israel in Zechariah where
  • 22:58 the nations come.
  • 22:59 In fact, your son works with the International Christian Embassy
  • 23:02 Jerusalem, and people come now in advance
  • 23:05 of that world to come, correct?
  • 23:07 Kirsten: And they do, but I just--I guess we were
  • 23:11 raised you look forward to this 1,000 years.
  • 23:15 It's something exciting that we were taught, so I'm glad that we
  • 23:17 were in churches that taught about this kingdom.
  • 23:21 And the 1,000 years, I think about growing up as a child,
  • 23:24 we thought, you know, "Are we gonna go up and down?"
  • 23:27 I mean, is there an elevator, escalator, you know what I mean,
  • 23:29 that takes us from heaven down to earth?
  • 23:31 Are all believers on earth at that time?
  • 23:33 Jeffrey: I think there's a blank, you know?
  • 23:35 People look at religion to purchase fire insurance.
  • 23:37 I've accepted Christ.
  • 23:39 When I die, I'm with him and that's that.
  • 23:41 There's no interest beyond that, but the Bible doesn't just give
  • 23:44 voice to our own futures.
  • 23:46 The world doesn't revolve around us entirely.
  • 23:48 Maybe our old world--our own worlds do, but what's God
  • 23:51 up to in the world, not just our world, and what's the plan?
  • 23:55 And the Bible speaks to it.
  • 23:57 Many people don't, we do.
  • 23:58 That's why I thank you for helping us get the story out.
  • 24:01 We're really game to get it straight.
  • 24:03 David: Can I also say this?
  • 24:04 I don't think until we started on this program we realized
  • 24:08 how little the church is involved with Israel,
  • 24:11 and I thought that we were.
  • 24:13 I thought every church in America loved Israel and
  • 24:16 supported Israel, but you're making it sound like we need
  • 24:19 to do a whole lot more of that.
  • 24:21 Jeffrey: Well, I think so.
  • 24:22 Of course, you had the experience of being involved in
  • 24:24 churches that were pro-Israel.
  • 24:26 I'm glad they exist, but they are far and few between.
  • 24:29 Denominations are not only not interested in Israel,
  • 24:33 they are increasingly organizing against Israel.
  • 24:36 David: I don't get that.
  • 24:37 Jeffrey: I don't either.
  • 24:39 It reminds me of American politics.
  • 24:40 I can't believe people can be so stupid.
  • 24:43 I mean, how can you read the Bible and not support a Jewish
  • 24:47 presence in the homeland and not see what--we see what God is
  • 24:51 up to in the Word, why can't we see it in the world today?
  • 24:54 They match.
  • 24:55 David: I think it should be mandatory that every pastor has
  • 24:57 to go to Israel for a tour.
  • 24:59 Jeffrey: You know, Zola thought that one trip to Israel
  • 25:01 was worth ten years of Sunday school.
  • 25:03 And really, and let me just say, whether you go with us or not,
  • 25:07 you know, we do tours in and out of Israel
  • 25:09 and you're more than welcome.
  • 25:11 It would be a great way to gift your pastor and the pastor's
  • 25:14 spouse to gift them a trip to Israel.
  • 25:17 And it would be life-changing for them in terms of the
  • 25:20 information they'd get and the inspiration they'd
  • 25:22 come back with, just like you.
  • 25:24 Kirsten: And their preaching changes.
  • 25:25 I was just at a women's conference this past weekend
  • 25:28 and I had the ladies raise their hands.
  • 25:30 I said, "How many of you have gone to Israel?"
  • 25:32 Not one hand raised, and they're all pastors wives.
  • 25:36 And I said, "You've got to go because everything
  • 25:38 in this world is about one city."
  • 25:40 It's all about Jerusalem.
  • 25:43 It's our future.
  • 25:45 Jeffrey: Even if folk don't go with us, just go.
  • 25:48 And if you can't go, invite your friends to watch
  • 25:51 "Zola Levitt Presents."
  • 25:53 We'll take you.
  • 25:54 I mean, we can't put everybody on the bus, but--
