• 01:04 Joshua Colson: I'm Joshua. Caleb Colson: And I'm Caleb.
• 01:06 [speaking in Hebrew] Welcome, friends.
• 01:08 David: I love that. We welcome you guys.
• 01:11 So glad that you are at this table with us full time now.
• 01:14 How does it feel? Caleb: Comfy.
• 01:16 I love the chairs.
• 01:17 Kirsten: I'm glad you like the chairs.
• 01:19 Those kind of comforts, the Israelites didn't have.
• 01:22 I mean, it wasn't all cushiony for them.
• 01:24 This was a difficult time, a transition time, as you're in,
• 01:28 that Moses--now in this program, Moses is dying--dead.
• 01:32 Caleb: Moses is dead, and the Israelites had followed
• 01:35 him for so long that now they have to get into the mentality
• 01:38 of following this new guy, Joshua.
• 01:40 Now, they had seen, you know, some of the miracles that
• 01:43 happened, you know, in Egypt, coming out, and they had
• 01:46 witnessed God's mighty hand on east of the Jordan River.
• 01:50 They defeated King Sihon and King Og, a 14-foot giant.
• 01:53 They wiped out 60 cities of those Amorites, and they thought
• 01:56 everything was good, but that was under Moses's command,
• 01:59 and now Moses is dead, and it's Joshua's time to take over,
• 02:01 and God has to elevate Joshua in their eyes in order for them
• 02:05 to come across that first miracle.
• 02:07 David: It's good, we're actually going to the dramatic
• 02:10 reenactment right now, all about Joshua.
• 02:13 Let's go there now.
• 02:17 Joshua: Ever since we left Mount Sinai, the priests
• 02:19 have played a vital role in the fabric of our people.
• 02:22 Adonai told Moses that all priests should come from the
• 02:26 tribe of Levi, and they were to be given special duties in the
• 02:29 service of the tabernacle.
• 02:31 Now that their leader has passed away, they wonder to whom should
• 02:35 they now give ear?
• 02:38 ♪♪♪
• 02:41 male: So, now that Moses is no more,
• 02:46 Adonai speaks to you directly.
• 02:50 Joshua: Yes.
• 02:52 male: And how do you know the voice that you hear
• 02:56 is that of Adonai?
• 02:58 Joshua: I just know.
• 03:03 male: Joshua, we believe you, and take comfort in knowing
• 03:09 that you are certain.
• 03:13 It took Moses 40 years to lead us here.
• 03:15 Now that we are so close to our land of promise, we must know
• 03:21 that Adonai is directing our steps into it and, of course,
• 03:27 then commanded by you.
• 03:32 Joshua: Moses is dead, but his message lives, and the same
• 03:37 God that speaks to him now speaks to me, and I tremble
• 03:41 when I hear his voice, but he tells me to take courage.
• 03:46 male: What else has he told you?
• 03:49 Joshua: He told me every piece of land upon which I step
• 03:51 is claimed for me, and all the children of Israel will possess
• 03:57 the land from the Euphrates to the great sea,
• 04:00 but today we cross the Jordan.
• 04:05 male: And you have called upon me--because?
• 04:09 Joshua: The priests will lead the people across the Jordan,
• 04:12 bearing the ark, but before you cross to the other side,
• 04:16 stand still in the water, and the water will be cut off.
• 04:20 The people will cross into the Promised Land on dry ground.
• 04:27 male: The very banks of the Jordan are overflowing.
• 04:30 It's the season of rain.
• 04:32 Joshua: Never mind.
• 04:33 The Lord stopped the waters of the Red Sea.
• 04:35 He will stop the waters of the Jordan.
• 04:38 male: But that was 40 years ago.
• 04:43 Joshua: Stand still.
• 04:45 Let him do it again.
• 04:56 male: We shall.
• 05:02 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: This is the Jordan River.
• 05:05 Perhaps it's not the portion of the river in the north that many
• 05:08 pilgrims have visited, but it's actually the area closer to
• 05:11 Jericho, where it's believed the children of Israel crossed over
• 05:15 into the Promised Land back under Joshua's direction.
• 05:19 Its waters are muddy now as they must have been 3400 years ago,
• 05:24 even overflowing the banks of the river in this,
• 05:27 the rainy season.
• 05:29 It's called the Yarden, the Jordan.
• 05:33 I'm referencing this body of water right here.
• 05:37 It's not all that formidable, impassable.
• 05:41 There was already technology to dam up rivers so armies could
• 05:44 cross, but, really, people needed to see a miracle, and
• 05:49 I mention that because, at the advent of Moshe Rabbeinu's
• 05:53 ministry, at the advent of his, there was a miracle with the
• 05:56 parting of the sea, granted, there, there was pressure with
• 05:59 an army pressing behind, and it was more dramatic.
• 06:02 And this isn't quite the Red Sea, but the Jordan is--
• 06:06 it's here, and it's interesting that--
• 06:10 [speaking in Hebrew] "a great miracle happens,"
• 06:14 the same sort of thing, the parting of the water.
• 06:17 As it happened with Moses, it happens with Joshua,
• 06:21 and that has a way of certifying Joshua's ministry.
• 06:25 I love teaching the Bible.
• 06:29 Every minister does, but I love doing it from the places
• 06:31 themselves, and we're really at the place of the crossing.
• 06:35 Very famous site here.
• 06:38 This is the Yarden, the Jordan.
• 06:40 It's 156 miles of river.
• 06:42 It starts up right around Tel Dan.
• 06:45 In fact, Jordan is named after Dan, one of the tribes.
• 06:48 There's a site in the north.
• 06:50 The water there makes its way into Kinneret, into the Sea of
• 06:54 Galilee, Sea of Tiberias, known as by the Latin, and then it
• 06:57 goes down this stretch right to the Dead Sea.
• 06:59 The Jordan River.
• 07:03 In fact, the country right behind me--and I can throw a
• 07:06 rock from here, and it would hit Jordanian territory, even
• 07:11 Jordan, the country it's named after, and here, this part,
• 07:15 we're in Israel, but it's the West Bank, a Palestinian
• 07:19 territory, under their control of this juncture.
• 07:21 It's the West Bank of--what?
• 07:23 The Jordan River.
• 07:24 This place plays a part in history today as much as
• 07:30 yesterday, but principally, we're interested in yesterday's
• 07:35 world, and for that, I use biblical literature as the
• 07:38 primary guidebook.
• 07:40 I would imagine Joshua--well, I know.
• 07:44 I don't need to imagine.
• 07:46 I know he was nervous about it.
• 07:48 We're told in the Torah that, before Moses finishes running
• 07:52 his course, Joshua is propped up formally and fully,
• 07:56 and I wouldn't call him an untested leader.
• 07:58 He's been in battle in other places as well, but the point is
• 08:02 now he's the man, and people were wondering if he has what it
• 08:07 takes, and he was wondering himself if he had what it took,
• 08:12 and I mention that--you say, "Jeffrey, how do you know?
• 08:15 You didn't live back then, and even if you did, how do you
• 08:16 climb into his world?"
• 08:18 Well, I know the testimony that's left in Scripture, and if
• 08:22 you'll look in Joshua chapter 1--and I wanna hear from the
• 08:26 text that bears his name.
• 08:28 We're told--it's very stark; it's very direct--
• 08:31 [speaking in Hebrew] "Moses my servant is dead--"
• 08:40 [speaking in Hebrew]
• 08:44 "now therefore arise, and go over this Jordan--"
• 08:50 [speaking in Hebrew] "you, and all of this people--"
• 08:55 [speaking in Hebrew]
• 08:58 "even to the place that I've given to them--"
• 09:02 [speaking in Hebrew] "The sons of Israel."
• 09:05 "Get up and go."
• 09:07 After saying that, he notes the boundaries of the land,
• 09:11 and you look in verse 4--in verse 3, he says,
• 09:14 "I've given you this land to tread on.
• 09:17 It's going to be yours," he says, "from the wilderness, to
• 09:20 the Lebanon," he goes, "to the land to Euphrates, the land of
• 09:23 the Hittites--" it's a very broad border.
• 09:26 The borders were never realized fully, by the way.
• 09:29 In antiquity, it rates some kind of fulfillment into the future.
• 09:33 It's not what Israel is today.
• 09:36 He goes on to say--and it's interesting--
• 09:38 to speak to the fear.
• 09:40 He says, in verse 5, to assure this man, who is now the
• 09:46 commander in chief, he says, "No man will be able to stand before
• 09:50 you," in verse 5, and then--
• 09:52 [speaking in Hebrew]
• 09:58 "As I was with Moses," he says,
• 10:00 "so I will be with you.
• 10:02 I will not fail you or forsake you."
• 10:06 I think it takes courage to move forward in life.
• 10:12 We're looking at "Joshua: More Than a Conqueror."
• 10:15 To conquer, it takes courage, and I've said before, in other
• 10:21 context, if the devil has a favorite tool in his toolbox, I
• 10:26 think it's discouragement, that is, to suck courage out.
• 10:31 By way of contradistinction, biblical literature encourages,
• 10:35 that is to say, infuses with courage because it takes that in
• 10:39 order to move forward in life.
• 10:42 And I believe personally that it's Yeshua, it's Jesus,
• 10:47 who gives us a kind of courage to face the future.
• 10:51 It seems, to me, personally,
• 10:53 that too many people live in the past.
• 10:55 If you're driving a car and it's raining and the road is swerving
• 11:01 and there's traffic, you don't wanna spend an inordinate amount
• 11:05 of energy looking in the rearview mirror and the side
• 11:07 mirrors to see where you've been and what's behind you.
• 11:09 You need the better part of your energy looking forward.
• 11:12 So many people are shackled by the sins of the past.
• 11:15 It's the grace of God that gives us a reset button that we can be
• 11:20 forgiven of the past so that all of our energies can look into
• 11:23 the future, and then we have the good Lord who enables us to get
• 11:27 into the future.
• 11:28 We'll run into the angel of the Lord, a character who presents a
• 11:32 little bit in the text to Joshua, who tends to fret, and
• 11:37 the angel of the Lord says, you know, "I'm here, the captain of
• 11:41 the Lord of hosts.
• 11:43 I'm gonna be with you."
• 11:44 I think it's fascinating, by the way, in the Bible, there's the
• 11:47 term "the Lord of hosts," "Adonai Tzevaot."
• 11:50 Famous expression, "Kadosh,
• 11:51 kadosh, kadosh, Adonai Tzevaot."
• 11:53 "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts,"
• 11:55 that is, the Lord of the armies.
• 11:56 And I don't mean that in a military sense
• 11:58 as much as a spiritual sense.
• 12:00 You know, when Yeshua was on the cross, he said, "I can pray
• 12:03 down legions of angels to turn this situation around,"
• 12:07 but that wasn't the plan.
• 12:08 It's good to know, speaking of plan, that we can get heaven's
• 12:12 help for earthly dilemmas.
• 12:14 The good Lord loves us, and like Joshua, he wants us
• 12:18 to be more than a conqueror.
• 12:22 ♪♪♪
• 12:33 David: We are experiencing transition with "Our Jewish
• 12:36 Roots" as Dr. Seif has moved on to bigger and better things,
• 12:39 but we're excited to have the Bearded Bible Brothers with
• 12:43 us and your knowledge of what's going on especially
• 12:46 in this series right now.
• 12:47 It's been amazing.
• 12:49 A lot of transition back in the day also.
• 12:50 Caleb: That's right.
• 12:52 Just as Moses was passing the baton to Joshua, now
• 12:54 we've received the baton from Jeff Seif.
• 12:57 Jeff's moving on to--Dr. Seif,
• 12:59 moving to new things that the Lord has for him, a third PhD
• 13:03 in Cambridge, you know, THE Cambridge in England.
• 13:05 He has some amazing things going on,
• 13:07 and he had some special times.
• 13:10 You missed an episode probably three weeks back
• 13:12 in which he commissioned us.
• 13:13 He passed that baton to us.
• 13:15 And it's very important that that spiritual handing-over
• 13:18 and the laying on of hands--he laid his hands on us
• 13:20 and prayed over us.
• 13:21 And it's that application that the Lord wants to show that,
• 13:26 as he was with Jeff, he's with us now.
• 13:28 As he was with Moses, he's with Joshua now.
• 13:30 And it was so special for us. We enjoy it.
• 13:33 Joshua: Dr. Seif is such an incredible man, the wealth of
• 13:37 knowledge that he has through his discipline to pursue it but
• 13:40 his humility--one of the things that you might not know is the
• 13:43 first thing he did was go donate $1,000 to the ministry.
• 13:46 Caleb: Yeah.
• 13:48 Joshua: Didn't tell anybody about it.
• 13:49 And I'm sayin' somethin' about it just because that I have such
• 13:51 a respect for the man who's, like, "Not only am I moving
• 13:52 forward, but I want to bless this ministry financially
• 13:55 so that it can thrive."
• 13:57 This passing of the baton is so important for humans to be able
• 14:02 to see what's happening in a transition and to be able to
• 14:05 know who it's going to.
• 14:07 God made a big deal about transitions in the Bible, and
• 14:09 that's why he had Moses publicly blessed Joshua so that the
• 14:13 people could see what was goin' on.
• 14:15 Speakin' of transitions bein' hard, this guy, for instance,
• 14:18 has struggled with transition his whole life.
• 14:19 Caleb: I don't like change.
• 14:21 Joshua: Yeah, he was the last one to go from standard
• 14:22 television to high def.
• 14:24 I don't think he has a checking account.
• 14:26 He's never had social media.
• 14:27 You know, anything moving forward can be hard for change,
• 14:30 but it's important for us.
• 14:31 Caleb: Cell phone, I was the last--the cell phones, you know?
• 14:33 Joshua: Last for cell phones--everything.
• 14:34 It's so important when God calls us to move forward that we do--
• 14:36 Caleb: In obedience, yes.
• 14:38 Joshua: --because we know that God has seasons, and those
• 14:40 seasons are so very important for us to step into
• 14:41 and follow through with.
• 14:43 Caleb: That's true, and we've stepped into this next season.
• 14:45 We've been with Zola Levitt Ministries for 17 years.
• 14:48 For five years, we've been the Bearded Bible Brothers on social
• 14:51 media, and we've been commissioned to now take over
• 14:55 this new role in leadership.
• 14:56 You're still gonna Jeff, guys.
• 14:58 After the "Joshua" series, "Dateline Jerusalem,"
• 15:01 he's talking about prophecy, the third temple, red heifers,
• 15:04 but that will be his last series, and you'll still see him
• 15:06 from time to time.
• 15:08 He's like our mentor.
• 15:10 He's still gonna show up when we're teaching in Israel, but
• 15:12 it's gonna be amazing, and we're moving on to the things that God
• 15:15 has in store for us 'cause he makes all things new, and he
• 15:18 wants us to move into the new things and be obedient to him.
• 15:22 Joshua: That's right, so let's go back to Dr. Seif.
• 15:27 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: In Joshua chapter 3, verse 1, we're told
• 15:29 that Joshua came to the Jordan early in the morning.
• 15:34 It's time for the crossing, and he went after it.
• 15:36 There's a Talmudic saying that "the righteous get after it
• 15:40 early," that is to say, they just get on the move.
• 15:42 They don't linger.
• 15:44 They don't meander.
• 15:46 They just get right to it at the break of day, and there's a good
• 15:48 point in all of that.
• 15:50 Even the word "immediately" is used 42 times in the gospel
• 15:54 of Mark, in the Greek, to note that Jesus
• 15:56 just got after it immediately.
• 15:58 It's time to do God's work.
• 16:00 Let's get onto it, you know, before our heads start spinning
• 16:02 and the devil talks us out of it, you know?
• 16:05 Fear will do that.
• 16:06 In any case, I know that Joshua had a certain fearful
• 16:09 proclivity, and he had to put that behind him to get after it,
• 16:11 and he gets up in the morning, and he does it.
• 16:15 He goes for it.
• 16:16 The reason why I know that he had a fearful proclivity is
• 16:18 because, over and again, he's encouraged, "Fear not,"
• 16:21 "Fear not," "Fear not," and if he's told that over and again,
• 16:24 that means he had it, and there's a point there: If Joshua
• 16:27 can be fearful and still be more than a conqueror, then even that
• 16:30 fear resides within us isn't a deal killer for us being
• 16:33 more than a conqueror.
• 16:35 We just have to listen to the faith, not to the feelings,
• 16:38 and here, as noted, Joshua does just that.
• 16:41 I love a passage in chapter 3, verse 5, where Joshua says
• 16:45 to the people, "Sanctify yourselves."
• 16:48 He says to do that "for tomorrow
• 16:52 the Lord will do wonders among you."
• 16:55 The word in the Hebrew "kadosh," you know, "to make yourself
• 16:59 holy," "to set yourself apart" in order to see God do something
• 17:03 through you, something to you, for you, and through you.
• 17:06 Today, churches--I get it.
• 17:09 You know, we wanna have different programs to attract
• 17:11 more and more people, but people really need to experience God
• 17:15 at work in their life, a saving hand from heaven, and for that,
• 17:18 there is "sanctify," here he says, and then he goes on
• 17:22 to say, in verse 7, inasmuch as he said, "sanctify," before,
• 17:26 then he says, "This day will I begin to magnify you
• 17:30 in the sight of all Israel."
• 17:33 Actually, it's the Lord talking to Joshua.
• 17:36 You know, Joshua was ordained and--but there needed to be
• 17:41 something miraculous, heaven's help,
• 17:43 in order for him to be elevated.
• 17:45 I mention this, and I affirm this, and that is, many in
• 17:49 ministry today, leaders, we get degrees.
• 17:52 I have a doctorate, and I've been a professor for years, and
• 17:54 I'm all about helping to prepare people to learn the Scriptures
• 17:58 and be a minister.
• 17:59 But more than academic pedigree, for someone really to be a
• 18:03 leader, there has to be something of the divine, the
• 18:06 hand of God on their life somehow, and that has to be
• 18:10 manifest to others that they're gonna be inclined to follow.
• 18:14 And I mention that here because, the crossing of the Jordan, they
• 18:19 could've just built some kind of embankment downstream and close
• 18:24 it off in March, but they needed to see that there was heaven's
• 18:28 help on the other side of the river.
• 18:30 I mention that, if you look at those soldiers, the numbering of
• 18:34 them is over 600,000.
• 18:36 And the various cities that they went into in the city of
• 18:40 Eretz--in the city of Canaan, in the land of Canaan,
• 18:44 the first city was Jericho, these walled cities.
• 18:46 They were small towns.
• 18:48 They weren't enormous metroplexes.
• 18:49 An enormous army could overcome them, but inasmuch as you
• 18:54 wanted to see some kind of miracle here at the Jordan,
• 18:57 similarly, according to the text, when they made their way
• 19:00 to the first city--and we'll get to this in another program--
• 19:04 the walls came down.
• 19:05 That is to say, there's a miracle.
• 19:07 That is to say, there's the hand of God in the enterprise.
• 19:10 To be sure, those men still had to do what men do.
• 19:13 They had to get there and fight and work and take care
• 19:16 of their business.
• 19:17 Similarly, today, you know, men, we have to get up.
• 19:20 If we're gonna be more than a conqueror,
• 19:21 we've gotta take care of business.
• 19:23 A good work ethic, some courage, you know, "hazaq,"
• 19:26 be strong--I mean, that's necessary.
• 19:29 That's not gonna go away just because you have religion, but
• 19:31 what you'll want is to see God's hand at work in your business
• 19:36 when you're involved in the Lord's business, and so this
• 19:39 journey here with Joshua is punctuated by miracles on the
• 19:44 front end, and then he goes on to say, in verse 7, you know,
• 19:48 "that, as I was with Moses, I'll be with you."
• 19:51 In other words, there was miracle with Moses at the
• 19:53 parting; there's a miracle here.
• 19:55 Same God, but it's a new, new, brand-new generation,
• 19:59 and there's new work for the new generation.
• 20:01 And what happens, according to the text, the way this story
• 20:05 plays out, the priests then bearing the Aron Kodesh, the Ark
• 20:09 of the Covenant, they go down to the Jordan, and they
• 20:13 dip their feet in the river, and the river stops.
• 20:17 It is a miracle, and we're told, at the end of chapter 3,
• 20:23 in verse 17, that "all Israel passed over on dry ground,
• 20:31 until all the nation were passed clean over the Jordan."
• 20:37 Again, what's noted in the Bible is a miracle.
• 20:42 I believe in miracles.
• 20:44 As I've stressed, I think it takes miracles.
• 20:47 God does miracles to break forth his kingdom into the world to
• 20:51 show that it is the Lord of hosts who's the advanced person
• 20:56 in the enterprise, that he's spreading his kingdom that his
• 20:59 kingdom may come and that his will, will be done on earth
• 21:03 as it is in heaven.
• 21:05 People are interested in eschatology.
• 21:07 "When is the world gonna all come under God's domain?"
• 21:10 And that'll happen in its own time, but we need to claim it in
• 21:13 our own world right now, that is to say, within our respective
• 21:17 spheres of influence.
• 21:19 I'm talking to men, not just men, women too but principally
• 21:23 men, for you to be that man of courage, for you to be the one
• 21:28 of the priests of the family, for you to go first in the
• 21:31 water, for you to get up early in the morning, and you let that
• 21:35 faith drive you into the future and see what'll happen.
• 21:38 You know, men, we want the best in life.
• 21:40 We feel we don't always get it.
• 21:42 We think--we go for an ideal.
• 21:43 We think we got a raw deal.
• 21:45 Get that faith at work, and seek the Lord for what he would have
• 21:49 you to do, and find the divine strategy he has for you to help
• 21:53 you to be the head and not the tail, to be a conqueror and not
• 21:56 conquered, to be a victor and not a victim, and you yourself
• 22:01 can experience with God how, like Joshua, you can be more
• 22:04 than a conqueror.
• 22:08 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: For the Israeli Defense Forces, the
• 22:11 saying "more than conquerors" is more than a slogan.
• 22:16 My good friend Chaim Malespin, who serves with the Israeli
• 22:20 Defense Forces, is gonna give us a window into how the Israeli
• 22:23 Army is taught to go forth and slay the giants.
• 22:28 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: Sarge, I got a question for you.
• 22:30 When I look at the Israeli Defense Forces, back in the day
• 22:33 with Moses, after Moses with Joshua leading 'em in, the
• 22:37 religious go first, you know?
• 22:39 They're bearing the ark; they're puttin' their foot in the water.
• 22:41 There's miracle there.
• 22:43 How does the religious work along with
• 22:45 the Israeli Defense Forces today?
• 22:47 Chaim Malespin: Well, definitely, when your life is
• 22:49 threatened, when you're about to go into enemy territory, you
• 22:51 wanna pray, even someone who's a complete atheist,
• 22:55 doesn't believe in God at all.
• 22:56 This happened to me.
• 22:58 Someone came to me and said, "Chaim, would you say a prayer?
• 22:59 You and God have got this thing going.
• 23:01 Would you just say a prayer that I'll make it out alive?"
• 23:03 And you have this ten minutes to call your family.
• 23:05 You don't give away any secrets, of course, and you just say,
• 23:07 "Hey, I just wanna hear your voice," you know, hang up.
• 23:09 Then the rabbi will come out, and he says, "Guys, I wanna pray
• 23:12 a prayer over you guys."
• 23:13 And many of these people, they say--I said, "Only now you wanna
• 23:16 have a prayer?
• 23:18 What about other times?"
• 23:19 And they said, "I'm just curious today.
• 23:21 I'm extra curious about God today," 'cause knowing that,
• 23:23 that evening, we'd go into some very heavy machine-gun fire and
• 23:27 very dangerous missions.
• 23:29 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: Yeah, there's something about being
• 23:31 thrown up to the edge of eternity that gives people a
• 23:33 little of religion that wouldn't otherwise be there.
• 23:35 People talk about miracles and, just, the exploits of
• 23:38 the Israeli Defense Forces.
• 23:40 I know people talk about it in America.
• 23:42 Do Israeli soldiers talk about miracles and God being with them
• 23:46 when they're there in the thick of the battle?
• 23:49 Chaim: Well, absolutely.
• 23:50 You know, right around here, the sun stood still for Joshua, and
• 23:53 even today, I mean, I was under heavy ammunition fire, and we
• 23:56 were out and caught in the open.
• 23:58 That's the worst place to be under fire
• 24:00 in the southern part of Israel.
• 24:02 And, bullets, I could hear them whizzing by my head--
• 24:04 [wooh, wooh]
• 24:06 --and I thought, "For sure, I'm gonna die."
• 24:07 I ran and dove behind this thing.
• 24:09 And, later, when I processed this--and I returned fire, and
• 24:13 we secured the situation in the perimeter, set up a perimeter,
• 24:16 but I asked myself, "How did I survive?
• 24:18 If a machine gun is firing at your entire company and none of
• 24:21 us die, how is this possible?"
• 24:23 Dr. Jeffrey Seif: Well, you're a hero,
• 24:25 and I guess God is with ya.
• 24:26 Thanks, sarge.
• 24:28 Chaim: It's a pleasure.
• 24:30 Caleb: Wow, what Chaim and Jeff were talking about, it's
• 24:32 heavy, real life-and-death struggle still going on
• 24:35 with the IDF.
• 24:37 Ever since May 14, 1948, Israel was re-birthed.
• 24:41 They became a nation again.
• 24:43 Satan has been trying to meddle with that, sending armies all
• 24:46 over 'em to try to wipe 'em out, but God has been with 'em every
• 24:49 time to uphold his land and his people.
• 24:52 He is faithful to do so.
• 24:53 Kirsten: And he still does the supernatural works.
• 24:57 Caleb: Still doin' the supernatural.
• 24:59 Kirsten: He is still the supernatural,
• 25:00 miracle God in the IDF.
• 25:02 We hear Chaim, all the time, telling us, "You won't believe
• 25:05 what happened last week and the miracle that we experienced."
• 25:08 It still happens as in the day of Joshua and the Israelites.
• 25:12 David: We need to hear those past days of what happened,
• 25:16 the miracles that took place.
• 25:17 Caleb: We do, and it's also important to carry that on to
• 25:20 the next generation, you know.
• 25:21 Joshua: The next generation needs to hear the stories of the
• 25:24 past because God has stories for them in the future.
• 25:26 We were super-blessed that we grew up at the tail end of the
• 25:29 Jesus movement, and so our parents were takin' us
• 25:32 continually to meetings where an outpouring of God was so strong
• 25:34 that we got to see, with our physical eyes,
• 25:37 the miracles that the Bible talks about.
• 25:39 We never had to have faith for 'em.
• 25:41 We got to see them, growing up, and God is doing things today.
• 25:43 You're hearing all over the world about revivals breaking
• 25:46 out on college campuses and different things, people trying
• 25:48 to contain what they don't understand, but God wants to
• 25:51 move in this generation, and that's why it is so important
• 25:54 today, when God is moving forward, for you not to stand
• 25:58 in the way, not to get in the feeling of uncomfortable because
• 26:01 you don't understand it or it may seem new but to encourage
• 26:05 this next generation to grab ahold of what God has for them
• 26:08 because he is ready to change this generation for him.
• 26:11 Caleb: Amen.
• 26:13 Kirsten: I can I say that the two of you are a new generation
• 26:16 of teaching for this program and for this ministry,
• 26:19 and we're on board.
• 26:22 We hope that all of you are on board
• 26:24 with us with this ministry.
• 26:26 We don't wanna end.
• 26:28 We wanna keep telling the new generations the miracles of God,
• 26:31 and you make all of that possible.
