Caption transcript for “Israel and America in Bible Prophecy”

  • 00:00 ♪♪♪ David Hart: We are so glad
  • 00:12 you've joined us today. Our program today is about Israel and America in Bible
  • 00:16 prophecy, correct?
  • 00:17 Joshua Colson: Oh, yeah, we talk so much about Bible prophecy
  • 00:19 in Israel, but then people wanna know what about America?
  • 00:21 But then they start thinking, well, maybe we're in the
  • 00:23 end-times now, maybe King Charles,
  • 00:25 maybe he's the Antichrist.
  • 00:26 Maybe COVID is the Tribulation.
  • 00:28 They have all these questions and we start creating our own
  • 00:32 doctrine without actually looking at the Bible sometimes.
  • 00:35 Kirsten Hart: I've gotta say, if people think COVID was
  • 00:37 tribulation, they have no idea what's coming.
  • 00:40 Caleb Colson: That's what I'm saying, guys.
  • 00:42 Baby steps to anything that happens in the Tribulation is so
  • 00:45 harsh, but it's true, Josh, that Israel is God's timepiece,
  • 00:49 it's the hourglass to the end, guys.
  • 00:51 If you wanna know how close you are to the end, look at Israel.
  • 00:54 If bad things are going down there, you know Yeshua is coming
  • 00:57 back soon.
  • 00:58 And with the recent wars and things, people going on, they're
  • 01:02 wondering is this the end?
  • 01:04 And so, we wanna go through some of our past "Bearded Bible
  • 01:07 Brothers" episodes today where we talked about this stuff to
  • 01:11 show you the real timeline of things to come.
  • 01:14 Kirsten: And if America is in there.
  • 01:16 Caleb: Yeah, we'll get to that, yeah.
  • 01:18 David: Lots of great teaching coming up, stay with us.
  • 01:22 female: Hey, everybody, I'm Joshua.
  • 01:24 male: And I'm Caleb.
  • 01:26 female: And we're brothers.
  • 01:27 male: Josh, why does your voice sound female?
  • 01:30 female: What are you talking about, female?
  • 01:32 I'm just the man I've always been.
  • 01:33 male: You sound like a girl, dude.
  • 01:34 female: Hold on, I can't hear anything with these masks on.
  • 01:38 Joshua: Sorry, guys.
  • 01:39 Caleb: Oh, that's better now.
  • 01:41 Joshua: Family, we're allowed to do this together.
  • 01:43 Caleb: Voice-altering masks.
  • 01:45 Joshua: A lot of stuff's been going on in the world lately.
  • 01:47 Everything from COVID-19 to all the rules like this.
  • 01:51 Caleb: The mask thing, that's true.
  • 01:52 Joshua: It's really got a lot of people going back to scripture
  • 01:54 to kind of find out all this stuff is happening, what's
  • 01:57 happening next?
  • 01:58 Caleb: Well, we talked about Matthew 24 and the birth pains
  • 02:03 and all this stuff before when all this COVID-19 stuff started,
  • 02:07 and people read in the scriptures about, you know,
  • 02:11 these wars that are coming to Israel.
  • 02:13 There's a bunch of wars coming up and they wanna know where
  • 02:15 these wars take place, are we gonna see anything?
  • 02:18 The most important thing to realize is there is nothing left
  • 02:22 to fulfill in prophecy that would hinder Yeshua to return
  • 02:25 right now.
  • 02:26 He could come at any minute.
  • 02:27 Joshua: Oh, you meet like right now, now.
  • 02:31 Caleb: Like right now, now.
  • 02:33 Joshua: Nothing keeping him from coming back, prophetically
  • 02:36 speaking.
  • 02:37 Caleb: Prophetically, so we wanna look at these four wars
  • 02:43 mentioned in scripture, the Psalm 83 war, the Battle of Gog
  • 02:47 and Magog, and the Battle of Armageddon, and what I call the
  • 02:50 Final Battle at the end of the Millennial Reign to know where
  • 02:53 these battles fit.
  • 02:54 They're all related to Israel, they all take part in them, and
  • 02:57 where are we in Bible prophecy?
  • 02:59 Joshua: So, the Psalm 83 war is something that a lot of people
  • 03:02 have been digging into lately, and what it says in verse 4 here
  • 03:07 is that you have a confederacy of nations that are coming
  • 03:09 against Israel, and verse 4 says, "They have said, 'Come,
  • 03:12 and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of
  • 03:15 Israel may be remembered no more."
  • 03:18 Caleb: Okay, so you have a confederacy.
  • 03:19 These are the people involved.
  • 03:20 It says Edom, Ishmaelites, Moab, Hagrites, Byblos, Ammon, Amalek,
  • 03:25 Philistia, Tyre, and Assyria.
  • 03:27 These were the people that occupied land territory back
  • 03:31 then, Josh, but today we look at the land territories that these
  • 03:34 ancient people did to find out who's going to be involved in
  • 03:37 this battle, and we get Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria,
  • 03:40 Iraq, possibly Turkey,
  • 03:42 Hamas in the Gaza Strip,
  • 03:44 Palestinians, and Jordan.
  • 03:46 So, many asked has this war been fulfilled?
  • 03:49 You know, there was a war in 1948 when Israel was established
  • 03:51 as a nation and they've been fighting so many wars, Yom
  • 03:54 Kippur War, Six-Day War, were any of those wars a fulfillment
  • 03:58 of this?
  • 03:59 Well, we don't see all those players exactly take part in
  • 04:02 those wars, so we think this battle is yet to come.
  • 04:05 It doesn't take place in the Tribulation, after the
  • 04:08 Tribulation, so it has to take place before the Tribulation and
  • 04:11 we don't exactly know the outcome.
  • 04:13 God spares Israel, we know he always protects Israel.
  • 04:15 Does America play a part, who knows?
  • 04:17 But we know that it's coming soon.
  • 04:19 Joshua: We know it's coming soon.
  • 04:21 Let's go on to the second one, the Battle of Gog and Magog.
  • 04:24 Caleb: Okay, Ezekiel 38 and 39, everybody heard about this
  • 04:27 Battle of Gog and Magog.
  • 04:29 The players here are different than Psalm 83, Josh.
  • 04:32 Look at the participants in this battle.
  • 04:33 We get Iran, Sudan, Libya, Russia, Turkey, many of the
  • 04:37 -stans, like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan,
  • 04:40 and who do they stand in for?
  • 04:42 Joshua: Well, they represent Magog, that one I can't
  • 04:45 pronounce, Meschech, Tubal, Persia, Cush, Put, Gomer, what's
  • 04:51 the last one?
  • 04:53 Caleb: Togarmah.
  • 04:55 Joshua: Man, these words are so hard for me.
  • 04:56 Clearly I don't live in any of these.
  • 04:58 Ezekiel 38:8 explains the prophetic timing here, guys.
  • 05:01 It says, "In future years you will invade a land that has
  • 05:04 recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations
  • 05:08 to the mountain of Israel, which had long been desolate."
  • 05:11 This evil prince, Gog himself, devises the plan, and verse 11
  • 05:14 and 12 says, "I will invade a land of the unwalled villages.
  • 05:18 I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people, all of them
  • 05:21 living without walls and without gates and without bars.
  • 05:24 I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled
  • 05:27 ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in
  • 05:30 livestock and goods, living at the center of the land."
  • 05:33 Caleb: So, this is interesting.
  • 05:35 This description, a lot of it has already been
  • 05:37 fulfilled, Josh.
  • 05:38 In 1948 Israel was reborn, became a nation state again, we
  • 05:42 see the regathering of people to the mountains of Israel.
  • 05:45 We see Israel living in the center of their land.
  • 05:47 They're not really occupying West Bank too much, even though
  • 05:50 that is their God-given territory, and it's interesting,
  • 05:54 we don't see America come to rescue Israel in Gog and Magog.
  • 06:00 Where's America to rescue Israel?
  • 06:01 No, God rescues Israel, but the thing that we don't see is the
  • 06:05 no walls.
  • 06:06 You know, if you've been to Israel, you see kind of walls
  • 06:10 that have been placed around Gaza Strip, around the West
  • 06:12 Bank, but for Israel to get to that place where they remove
  • 06:15 their walls, perhaps the Psalm 83 war, you know, all those Arab
  • 06:20 nations that come against them getting annihilated, they don't
  • 06:22 feel the need to have walls up anymore, they're living in
  • 06:24 a state of peace.
  • 06:26 It's very interesting, some people think that this battle,
  • 06:28 Josh, is the same battle talked about at the end of Revelation,
  • 06:32 at the end of the Millennial Reign.
  • 06:34 Joshua: It says in Revolution 28, "Satan will go out and
  • 06:38 deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and
  • 06:40 Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as
  • 06:44 the sands of the sea."
  • 06:46 That sounds familiar.
  • 06:47 Caleb: I don't equate, even though it says Gog and Magog,
  • 06:49 I don't equate them both as the same battle for this very
  • 06:52 reason, the conclusions are different and the participants
  • 06:55 are different.
  • 06:56 This final battle at the end of the Millennial Reign has the
  • 06:58 entire earth, including Gog and Magog.
  • 07:00 The conclusion is fire comes out from the throne and incinerates
  • 07:04 the entire army and the earth, and God has to make a new heaven
  • 07:07 and new earth, but at the end of the Battle of Gog and Magog, God
  • 07:12 sends brimstone and giant hailstones to eliminate the army
  • 07:15 of Gog, and then the Jews have seven months to bury the dead
  • 07:19 and seven years to burn the weapons of war.
  • 07:22 Seven years, that's pretty interesting.
  • 07:24 I believe that after we are raptured, this Battle of Gog and
  • 07:28 Magog takes place, that the enemies of Israel are emboldened
  • 07:32 in the midst of the chaos, and that the conclusion of Gog and
  • 07:36 Magog sees these nations, that there's only a remnant left
  • 07:39 behind having to strike up a peace deal with Israel brokered
  • 07:43 by the beast, and thus begins seven years of burning these
  • 07:47 weapons of war and the Tribulation beginning.
  • 07:48 Joshua: Can I just say that if I ever heard the terminology in
  • 07:50 any agreement that I signed, "brokered by the beast," that I
  • 07:53 might have to have my attorneys look a couple extra times at the
  • 07:56 details on that.
  • 07:58 What's that little paragraph there?
  • 07:59 Let's move on to the Battle of Armageddon.
  • 08:01 Caleb: All right, this one's very easy.
  • 08:03 Everybody knows exactly when it takes place, the end of
  • 08:06 a seven-year tribulation on the day of Yom Kippur.
  • 08:08 This is the great and terrible day of the Lord.
  • 08:11 There you go, we have the placement of all four battles
  • 08:15 to come, Josh.
  • 08:16 So, why is this important?
  • 08:18 Joshua: Because you don't wanna enlist in those battles.
  • 08:23 It's important to be ready, okay?
  • 08:26 We have a job to do.
  • 08:27 We have a task that was given to each and every one of us.
  • 08:31 We talked about in an earlier episode in this season about the
  • 08:34 importance and the value of nothing being idle in what you
  • 08:37 say and do.
  • 08:38 So, we're called to watch and be ready.
  • 08:40 Caleb: Be watchful and ready, because we already see the key
  • 08:43 players making alliances right now.
  • 08:45 We see Iran and Turkey and Russia getting cozy.
  • 08:49 That's already Gog and Magog set up right there.
  • 08:51 You know, we see all this crazy stuff going on, we know Yeshua
  • 08:53 is coming soon.
  • 08:55 We see Israel, the fig tree, all these things coming to pass, so
  • 08:58 Yeshua could come any minute now.
  • 08:59 Be ready, get your hearts right with God, and join us next time.
  • 09:05 Joshua: I really like the colors in my mask here.
  • 09:07 Caleb: It's nice, but it made your voice all weird.
  • 09:10 Joshua: But it's so happy and shiny and reflective.
  • 09:13 Caleb: That's your personality, right there.
  • 09:14 Joshua: It goes with my flowers.
  • 09:18 Kirsten: I probably shouldn't do this, I probably shouldn't, but
  • 09:22 I will.
  • 09:23 I have a little pet peeve when it comes to the song, oh, Lord,
  • 09:28 "God Bless America," because--and I love my country,
  • 09:33 but it's almost as if "God Bless America" because we're
  • 09:37 Israel's savior.
  • 09:39 We will say almost as if we will save the world and especially
  • 09:43 Israel, but we don't see that scripturally.
  • 09:46 Caleb: We don't see that scripturally.
  • 09:48 The wars that we just talked about in Israel, you would think
  • 09:50 Israel's greatest ally, America, would come and save them, but
  • 09:53 not in Psalm 83, not in Gog and Magog, so we're not there to
  • 09:58 rescue them.
  • 09:59 We're gonna talk about that in the upcoming segment, but this
  • 10:02 calendar that we just gave, I consider these prophetic points
  • 10:06 pillars in time.
  • 10:07 You know, you have these wars, the Rapture, the starting point
  • 10:10 of the Tribulation.
  • 10:11 God gave us these points that he determined that it's not gonna
  • 10:14 be changed by man or by any action, but there are some
  • 10:17 things that we can do, I believe, to extend this
  • 10:19 timetable just like King Josiah when we humble ourselves before
  • 10:22 the Lord.
  • 10:24 When a nation repents before God, we can get that moment
  • 10:26 of reprieve.
  • 10:27 And so, people ask is Psalm 83 going on with the whole
  • 10:29 Israel-Hamas war?
  • 10:31 Not yet, if enough of us repent and pray to God, we may get that
  • 10:35 moment of reprieve, but it could escalate into that.
  • 10:38 We could see Psalm 83, I believe, with our own
  • 10:40 eyes today.
  • 10:42 Kirsten: So, it wasn't in A.D. 70
  • 10:44 or it wasn't when Israel--1948, because we hear
  • 10:50 a lot of that.
  • 10:51 People think that happened here or that happened there.
  • 10:53 Joshua: And again, back to your question, what we're about to
  • 10:55 get to, where is America?
  • 10:57 Is an American president gonna be the Antichrist?
  • 10:59 Are we going to save the world and Israel and everything else?
  • 11:03 So, guys, I need you to watch this segment if you've ever
  • 11:05 wondered what's gonna happen with America in the end-times.
  • 11:11 Caleb: Okay, Josh, you've been to so many countries doing
  • 11:13 missionary work, tell me, America is great, but is Zambia
  • 11:18 greater than America?
  • 11:20 Joshua: Zambia is not greater than America.
  • 11:22 Caleb: What about Philippines, Josh?
  • 11:24 Joshua: No.
  • 11:26 Caleb: Haiti, Burma, the Ireland?
  • 11:30 Joshua: Ireland is fantastic, but no, not as good as America.
  • 11:35 Caleb: Israel, oh, see, I may have got you there.
  • 11:39 We here in America love our country and we think it is the
  • 11:42 center of the universe, America, but when we read Bible prophecy,
  • 11:48 we always kind of add this western slant to it because we
  • 11:51 think we are the center.
  • 11:52 In fact, Israel is the center of the universe to God, and when
  • 11:57 you read Bible prophecy, you need to interpret it from a
  • 12:01 boots-on-the-ground perspective of an ancient Jew in that time
  • 12:04 period understanding the history of that time period,
  • 12:06 the geography, otherwise you're gonna miss out.
  • 12:08 Joshua: The Bible wasn't written in Minnesota?
  • 12:10 Caleb: No, Josh, the Bible was not written in Minnesota.
  • 12:13 Joshua: I have been really holding things to
  • 12:15 a different standard.
  • 12:16 I'm so sorry.
  • 12:18 Caleb: Anyways, in 1776 America became a nation, that was 244
  • 12:20 years ago, and basically the question is, is America in
  • 12:24 Bible prophecy?
  • 12:26 Joshua: No.
  • 12:27 Caleb: No?
  • 12:29 Okay, well, no.
  • 12:31 In a small way, maybe it is, it's not in the way you America
  • 12:35 as the great horse shippers are really hoping for.
  • 12:38 It's in a smaller and more different way.
  • 12:40 Well, let's look at this.
  • 12:41 Before you yell blasphemy and start clicking away, like, how
  • 12:46 dare you?
  • 12:47 We are well-intentioned people, we all want to study scripture
  • 12:49 well, we are blessed for doing that according to
  • 12:52 Revelation 22:7.
  • 12:53 Second Timothy 4:8 says, "We get a crown of righteousness for
  • 12:56 longing for Yeshua's return," and within reason, America is in
  • 13:01 scripture and we'll get to that, but we wanna go through some of
  • 13:04 the common theories of how America is in Bible prophecy.
  • 13:08 Where are those, Josh?
  • 13:09 Joshua: Well, I can tell you some of these theories.
  • 13:12 Theory number one, is America the unnamed nation in Isaiah 18?
  • 13:16 Caleb: Okay, to understand Bible prophecy you really need
  • 13:19 a degree in history, ancient history of the world, and
  • 13:22 geography, because everything has to deal with boundaries and
  • 13:25 land and territory, and nine times out of ten that land
  • 13:28 boundaries and territory is legit.
  • 13:30 It's not symbolic, it's the literal land territory that the
  • 13:34 Bible is talking about that those countries occupied in
  • 13:36 the past.
  • 13:37 And when people start trying to symbolize countries in the
  • 13:39 Bible, then people start going around and saying, oh, Israel is
  • 13:43 really the church now and the Jewish people are Christians,
  • 13:48 and that's blasphemy.
  • 13:49 That's replacement theology, Josh.
  • 13:51 Joshua: I don't replace theology, and now I understand
  • 13:53 that Megiddo is not a little cute chimp, that it's actually
  • 13:57 a valley somewhere, so that helps me out.
  • 13:59 Isaiah 18, let's get back.
  • 14:01 Caleb: Okay, Isaiah 18, this is an interesting prophecy about
  • 14:04 a nation and how it relates to Israel.
  • 14:05 You get these creepy descriptions like the whirling
  • 14:08 wings and "tall and smooth-skinned people," but the
  • 14:10 interesting thing to note is remember, you're focused on
  • 14:13 Israel, it's talking about a country south of Israel around
  • 14:17 Cush, Ethiopia, and we know that's nowhere near America.
  • 14:20 So, right away we are discounting that,
  • 14:23 it's not America.
  • 14:24 Joshua: What about the great eagle's wings in
  • 14:26 Revelation 12:14?
  • 14:28 Caleb: Oh, yeah, we didn't talk about this.
  • 14:29 Okay, Revelation 12:14, so finally we get some symbolism in
  • 14:32 this story talking about how Satan was cast out of heaven.
  • 14:36 We get this fiery red dragon and he's waiting to devour the child
  • 14:40 of a pregnant woman who represents Israel, and that
  • 14:43 child is Messiah.
  • 14:44 He's whisked off into heaven and then he goes to persecute the
  • 14:47 offspring of the woman, the Jewish people, and Revelation
  • 14:51 says that the Jewish people--the woman is given two wings like
  • 14:56 a gray eagle in which she's flown off to a desert
  • 14:59 hiding place to keep her safe.
  • 15:01 And meanwhile, you say eagles wings, that must be America,
  • 15:04 because we love bald eagles, man, but you know, really when
  • 15:08 you look at the iconography of the bald eagle as presented by
  • 15:13 our Founding Fathers, like on the back of this $1 bill, they
  • 15:17 state in their writings this is actually the Phoenix.
  • 15:20 This is not an eagle.
  • 15:22 You look at a country in that time of this writing that had an
  • 15:24 emblem or a standard of eagle, it was Rome.
  • 15:28 So, are you gonna say Rome is gonna save the Jewish people?
  • 15:30 No, no, no, no.
  • 15:32 Joshua: If that's the case, Rome messed up real bad.
  • 15:35 So, you're saying they're not the great eagle's wings, they're
  • 15:38 just the great phoenix, what about the young lions
  • 15:41 of Tarshish?
  • 15:42 Caleb: Okay, just to let you know what I think, the two wings
  • 15:44 represent the two witnesses, the prophets that are going to save
  • 15:48 the Jewish people and lead them to a place in the wilderness.
  • 15:50 But okay, the young lions of Tarshish, this is interesting.
  • 15:53 In Ezekiel 38 and 39 you get the Battle of Gog and Magog, you get
  • 15:56 all these participants of these countries around Israel that
  • 16:00 come to invade her and destroy her, and the first thing that's
  • 16:03 interesting to notice, Josh, is where is America to
  • 16:05 rescue Israel?
  • 16:08 Joshua: It's not there.
  • 16:09 Caleb: I mean, aren't we allied with Israel, our greatest ally?
  • 16:12 Shouldn't we be there to rescue America?
  • 16:14 Joshua: So, you must have read it wrong then.
  • 16:15 Hold on, let me read.
  • 16:17 Caleb: Okay, so America at this point must be diminished in some
  • 16:22 form, not the superpower, but we don't rescue Israel.
  • 16:25 We read in verse 13, "Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish
  • 16:29 and all their young lions will say to you, 'Have you come to
  • 16:31 take plunder?'"
  • 16:33 So, these people are talking to Prince Gog and saying are you
  • 16:35 coming to take Israel's plunder?
  • 16:37 Tarshish, people say that Tarshish represents Great
  • 16:40 Britain and the lions thereof are the colonies of America.
  • 16:44 So, it's basically saying when Jonah went to escape and go to
  • 16:47 Tarshish, he was sailing all the way to Great Britain.
  • 16:50 Well, you look at the history of that time period and nowhere do
  • 16:52 you see Great Britain geographically as being that
  • 16:56 connection with Tarshish.
  • 16:57 People say Spain, you don't see any connection in history
  • 17:01 as well.
  • 17:02 There's many Tarshishs throughout the ancient world,
  • 17:05 and port Tarshishs, but the only one that we really see, a writer
  • 17:09 of that time, Josephus a Jewish historian, connected Tarshish
  • 17:12 with a port city along the coast of Turkey, not America.
  • 17:16 I'm sorry, guys.
  • 17:18 Joshua: I dip my fried fish in Tarshish.
  • 17:19 Ha, ha, ha, my dad joke for the month.
  • 17:22 Not there, okay, okay, I'm not gonna say this, America, but we
  • 17:26 have to ask.
  • 17:27 Somebody asked is America the great whore of Babylon?
  • 17:29 Caleb: Okay, Revelation 17, Josh.
  • 17:32 We see mystery, Babylon the Great, some people consider that
  • 17:36 to be Rome.
  • 17:37 Some people are now saying it is America.
  • 17:40 The first thing you need to notice is this is a city,
  • 17:42 not a country.
  • 17:44 It could be Babylon geographically of today, but
  • 17:46 it's a different Babylon, it's mystery Babylon.
  • 17:49 We read in Revelation 11:8 after the two prophets are killed
  • 17:53 that, "Their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great
  • 17:55 city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord
  • 17:58 was crucified."
  • 17:59 So, we get--a spiritual identity can be connected with cities.
  • 18:03 So, we have this revived Roman Empire, as some people say this
  • 18:06 great whore, it's a religious system of the revived worship of
  • 18:10 Baal connected to the ancient sin in Babylonianism.
  • 18:13 And then we decide, okay, well, the city, where is
  • 18:16 it geographically?
  • 18:18 We've talked before, Josh, about the city of the seven hills that
  • 18:20 it says that this great horse sits upon, and people say
  • 18:23 maybe Rome.
  • 18:24 We had a theory that maybe Istanbul, Turkey, that's one
  • 18:26 identifier, but a second identifier is in verse 10 of
  • 18:30 Revelation 17, isn't Josh?
  • 18:32 Can you read that?
  • 18:33 Joshua: I can read that.
  • 18:35 It says, "There are also seven kings.
  • 18:36 Five have fallen, one is, and the other one has not yet come.
  • 18:39 And when he comes, he must continue a short time.
  • 18:41 The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and
  • 18:46 is of the seven, and is going to perdition."
  • 18:49 That's a lot of confusing numbers.
  • 18:51 Caleb: It is, so we see in the Bible that kings can also
  • 18:53 represent kingdoms and kingdom's kings, and so what we're talking
  • 18:57 about here is once the state of Israel was established, there
  • 19:00 were world power kingdoms that then occupied Israel and held it
  • 19:04 in dominion.
  • 19:05 The five that had fallen at this time was Egypt, Assyria,
  • 19:09 Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece, and it says one is.
  • 19:13 Rome was the is, because John was writing at the same time
  • 19:16 that Rome had ruled the world and had occupied Israel.
  • 19:19 They said one is to come, that could be the Ottoman Empire or
  • 19:21 a revived Eastern Roman Empire.
  • 19:23 Whatever the case is, the beast will come out of that revived
  • 19:26 empire and he's the eighth.
  • 19:28 But like Josh just asked, I don't see America any time
  • 19:32 holding dominion over the state of Israel, over the country and
  • 19:36 territory of Israel.
  • 19:37 Joshua: So, where is it then?
  • 19:39 I mean, if I'm looking and I noticed that you have left out
  • 19:42 the last question, is it Obama?
  • 19:44 So that must just be a nefarious question for some of you.
  • 19:46 Caleb: People look at some of the weird founding things have
  • 19:49 gone on in America.
  • 19:51 We look at the iconography of our monuments, of our statues,
  • 19:53 and we see these ancient Greek and Roman temples.
  • 19:56 It's kind of weird.
  • 19:57 We have these obelisks that are the Washington monument.
  • 19:59 We have these dollar bills with these Masonic symbols of the
  • 20:03 trapezoid with the all-seeing eye.
  • 20:05 These are cult symbols, which is very interesting, and the
  • 20:08 Founding Fathers, they painted the Greek gods and goddesses in
  • 20:12 our Capitol building and put the Greek gods as symbols on the top
  • 20:16 of the Capitol building, so people are saying, well, look at
  • 20:17 all this idolatry.
  • 20:19 The Founding Fathers wrote about the return of Apollo, this is
  • 20:22 like the Antichrist, so surely we are the great whore.
  • 20:24 I don't think we are still with all of this.
  • 20:26 We love America, America is a great nation, but where we think
  • 20:29 America is inserted into Bible prophecies, when you read in
  • 20:32 Revelation it talk about all the plagues and judgments are coming
  • 20:35 on the whole world, guess what?
  • 20:37 America is getting hit.
  • 20:38 Joshua: Oh, man, that's us.
  • 20:40 Caleb: That could be us.
  • 20:41 You read in Revelation and it talks about ten kings.
  • 20:45 People used to think that the ten kings were like ten
  • 20:48 countries in Europe, but I believe there are ten
  • 20:51 designations that the world is cut up into, say the North
  • 20:54 America district, the Asia district, this district, because
  • 20:56 in Daniel it talks about three kings rebelling against the
  • 21:00 beast, and one of them is from the 200-million-man army of the
  • 21:05 east, one of them is from North Africa, including Egypt, one of
  • 21:08 them is from the north, and these kings rebel against the
  • 21:11 beast, they come against Jerusalem to fight in the Battle
  • 21:14 of Armageddon, and then the seven other come and protect
  • 21:17 the beast.
  • 21:18 This is all nations of the world coming together, so somewhere in
  • 21:20 there America has to come.
  • 21:22 Joshua: Well, if you're like me and your brains are leaking out
  • 21:26 of your ears because of all the information that was just given
  • 21:28 to you, I think what we're trying to say, I think the most
  • 21:31 important point to take through all of this, since this is
  • 21:34 really a best guess situation, is that instead of trying to
  • 21:38 spend your whole life figuring out where America is in
  • 21:40 prophecy, let's pray and believe that America make good choices.
  • 21:43 Let's pray and believe for America to have a good place
  • 21:47 because we have defended Israel, to continue to defend Israel.
  • 21:50 Let's believe that America falls on its face before God like it
  • 21:53 did initially, and that its place is solidified
  • 21:57 because we do the right thing.
  • 21:58 Whether or not that happens is out of our control, but we can
  • 22:01 choose today what we do, and we can join together with fellow
  • 22:05 Americans today and believe that this country lives the way that
  • 22:09 it should.
  • 22:11 Caleb: And join us next time.
  • 22:13 Happy Freedom Day, Happy Independence Day, we love you
  • 22:16 guys, and we love America.
  • 22:17 Joshua: Well, what if we made a bald phoenix since it's not
  • 22:20 the thing?
  • 22:21 Like, what do you think a bald phoenix instead of an eagle,
  • 22:23 or is that sacrilegious talk?
  • 22:26 Because you said on the back was a little phoenix, it wasn't like
  • 22:29 a, ahh! [eagle screech]
  • 22:33 David: From the brothers teaching today, it sounds to me,
  • 22:36 to us, like America maybe in danger.
  • 22:39 Joshua: That's a good question.
  • 22:41 It's a question that I don't think enough people have asked,
  • 22:43 but why would America not come to Israel's aid in Gog and
  • 22:47 Magog, right?
  • 22:49 We are their biggest defenders, and so if you look at all the
  • 22:50 possible scenarios of why America might not come, we hope
  • 22:54 at least that the answer is the Rapture emptied out
  • 22:57 most of America.
  • 22:58 That'd be a great scenario, right?
  • 23:00 America's infrastructure is weakened, most of us have been
  • 23:02 taken in the Rapture, and America's focused on getting
  • 23:05 itself strong again and trying to protect itself, and that's
  • 23:07 why it can't go help Israel.
  • 23:09 But we don't know what's gonna happen, and so not knowing
  • 23:13 what's gonna happen with that, we have to focus on realizing
  • 23:15 what America needs to do is get its sin out.
  • 23:18 Caleb: Yeah, I mean, guys, right now I believe America, as with
  • 23:21 Israel, is in a very dangerous place.
  • 23:24 You know, in scripture when a nation turns their heart away
  • 23:27 from God, God removes his hand of protection
  • 23:29 and what can come in?
  • 23:30 He said there can be enemy invaders, there can be famine,
  • 23:33 there can be plague, all these different judgments.
  • 23:35 Not that God's being mean, he literally can't protect them
  • 23:38 because they're in sin.
  • 23:39 And right now I see three key sins that has ensnared America
  • 23:43 from idolatry, apostasy, child sacrifice.
  • 23:48 Let me go into some of those, because you may be thinking, "In
  • 23:50 America, I don't bow to golden idols of cows, that doesn't
  • 23:54 happen to me.
  • 23:55 I go to church, everything's good with me."
  • 23:57 But idolatry is anything in your life that you put in precedence
  • 24:02 and honor more than God.
  • 24:03 What gets more of your focus than God?
  • 24:06 Is it sports, is it entertainment, is it food, is it
  • 24:10 sex, is it work?
  • 24:12 Is it even the church building, serving in church?
  • 24:14 Are you focusing on those actions instead of serving God?
  • 24:18 And so, idolatry is rampant in the world today because we don't
  • 24:22 put Messiah as our foremost focus.
  • 24:26 Second, let's see, child sacrifice.
  • 24:28 You say, "Okay, we don't offer our children to Moloch."
  • 24:30 What about abortion?
  • 24:32 I know Roe vs. Wade
  • 24:33 has been removed, and I thank Yeshua for that, but
  • 24:36 still, individual states are going above and beyond the call
  • 24:40 of duty to try to find a way to murder their unborn children.
  • 24:43 That is child sacrifice.
  • 24:44 The Lord warned against the Israelites when you come into
  • 24:47 this country, this nation, this promising I'm giving you, don't
  • 24:51 do what the Canaanites did and sacrifice their children, and
  • 24:53 we've done that for years.
  • 24:55 The blood of those innocent children are crying out from
  • 24:57 the grave.
  • 24:58 And finally apostasy, this is the most insidious and wicked
  • 25:02 playing of Satan, where from the pulpit church leaders, pastors,
  • 25:07 are teaching false doctrine.
  • 25:08 Just slightly a little bit off to where it sounds palatable,
  • 25:11 it sounds good, it's more about me, but it's not.
  • 25:14 Yeah, feel-good doctrine, but you read Revelation chapter
  • 25:18 2 and 3, six out of seven churches were following after
  • 25:23 this false doctrine about apostasy.
  • 25:25 So, that's bad odds for the church today.
  • 25:28 We need to get our hearts right with God.
  • 25:30 Kirsten: Can I redeem myself real quick?
  • 25:32 I do love America, I do, and I will continue to pray
  • 25:37 desperately that we will continue to have a role in this
  • 25:42 world and that maybe we're the unspoken, but we will be there
  • 25:47 somewhere to support Israel in those times.
