  • 00:47 Joshua: And we understand that everybody gets all "Agh" when

  • 02:12 Mel: I guess I really started in the ministry, 1968, teaching
  • 02:16 Sunday School classes with little children, and progressed.
  • 02:20 By 1972 that, you know, Donna and I had gone to Central Bible
  • 02:24 College and started pastoring a church.
  • 02:28 We've been pastoring and then predominantly, I guess being--
  • 02:32 my dad was born on the Indian reservation.
  • 02:35 And so I was raised real poor.
  • 02:37 I had a heart for underprivileged people.
  • 02:39 So I've spent most of my ministry life going to third
  • 02:43 world countries doing crusades.
  • 02:45 So I've been about 35 different third world countries.
  • 02:48 Some of them I've been to 10 or 15 times.
  • 02:51 And so now, we've been pastoring pretty focused strongly with
  • 02:59 pastoring for maybe the last 10, 12 years.
  • 03:03 And now we're going back to crusades.
  • 03:06 Joshua: Going back to where it all began.
  • 03:08 Mel: Yeah, because I believe with all of my heart, we're on
  • 03:12 the verge of the greatest move of God that has ever hit
  • 03:15 planet Earth.
  • 03:16 And I believe God wants me to be involved in that.
  • 03:20 Caleb: That--that's a big thing to believe.
  • 03:22 I know we believe it as well and we're anticipating it and some
  • 03:25 people might say that's not scriptural.
  • 03:27 I believe it's scriptural.
  • 03:29 Where--why do you believe this?
  • 03:30 Mel: Because it's in the Bible.
  • 03:32 Caleb: That's right, it is in the Bible.
  • 03:33 Joshua: Look how simple that is.
  • 03:35 Easy, in the Bible.
  • 03:36 Mel: Hebrews chapter 2, verse 3 and 4, the Bible says: "How
  • 03:40 shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, God bearing
  • 03:43 witness both with signs and wonders, and gifts of the
  • 03:46 Holy Ghost."
  • 03:47 That word "escape" in the Greek, it's--most full gospel
  • 03:53 theologians use that word, the Greek word, and they
  • 03:57 coined "Rapture."
  • 03:58 And in the Greek, it says this for escape: to vanish, to be
  • 04:02 taken up into the clouds, Rapture.
  • 04:05 I have put my life in the Word of God.
  • 04:11 And so I see from a scriptural standpoint that for 2000 years,
  • 04:18 the body of Christ has been waiting on God to produce
  • 04:21 the Rapture.
  • 04:22 And for 2000 years, God's waiting on us.
  • 04:25 He's waiting on us.
  • 04:26 Caleb: This gospel of the kingdom will be preached as a
  • 04:28 witness to all nations and then the end will come.
  • 04:31 And we haven't done that yet, so he hasn't come yet.
  • 04:33 Mel: So there's not gonna be an escape if there's not the
  • 04:37 ministry of signs and wonders.
  • 04:39 And in the Greek for signs, the word "signs" in that passage, as
  • 04:43 well as all the passages in the Bible, in reference to the last
  • 04:48 days signs and wonders, that it says, "Supernatural miracles in
  • 04:53 the senses realm, proving that Jesus Christ is Lord."
  • 04:56 And then I like the wonders because I'm Native American.
  • 04:59 And we are very spiritually minded, big thinkers,
  • 05:04 big imaginations.
  • 05:05 Caleb: So are Jews.
  • 05:07 Mel: Yeah, Jews and Native Americans are probably Jewish
  • 05:11 also, as we talked about.
  • 05:13 But I wanna finish that wonders, God bearing witness, signs
  • 05:17 and wonders.
  • 05:18 Wonders in the Greek, I love this.
  • 05:20 It says, "Supernatural miracles in the imagination realm proving
  • 05:23 that Jesus Christ is Lord."
  • 05:25 Caleb: Right, and you told me some of that.
  • 05:27 You've talked with different members of tribes and they have
  • 05:30 done studies to show that the origination of Native Americans,
  • 05:34 even their set-ups of family groups, clans, tribes, and
  • 05:36 everything, was from the original Hebrew roots.
  • 05:39 And that y'all came, y'all migrated over after the
  • 05:44 dispersion and everything.
  • 05:46 And so that's, yeah, everybody goes back to Noah's sons.
  • 05:50 But there's something to that, you know, that's inherently that
  • 05:54 y'all are looking for that manifestation of the power
  • 05:57 of God.
  • 05:58 And Yeshua said--Jesus said with that Great Commission
  • 06:02 before he went up, he said, "These signs will follow those
  • 06:05 who believe: that in My name you're gonna cast out devils,
  • 06:09 you're gonna heal the sick, you will speak with new tongues.
  • 06:11 You know, you will take up serpents and drink deadly poison
  • 06:14 and not be harmed."
  • 06:15 And how come we haven't seen that in a while?
  • 06:18 It's almost been we've seen pockets of revivals here
  • 06:22 and there.
  • 06:23 You know, the Jesus Movement was kind of worldwide.
  • 06:26 But what's been going on the past few decades?
  • 06:29 Mel: I really believe with all of my heart that God's waiting
  • 06:35 on his people to get rooted and grounded in his
  • 06:42 unconditional love.
  • 06:43 It was in October of 1984 and I went to bed at night.
  • 06:49 As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was in heaven, I seen
  • 06:52 Jesus and to make a long story short, I'm gonna get right to
  • 06:56 the point.
  • 06:57 Caleb: I wanna hear more about Jesus.
  • 06:58 Mel: But he looked at me and he told me, he says, "The greatest
  • 07:01 move of God that has ever hit planet Earth is gonna happen and
  • 07:05 the foundation will be my unconditional love."
  • 07:09 And so, people really do not know about God's
  • 07:14 unconditional love.
  • 07:16 And that, to me, that's the foundation that has to
  • 07:19 take place.
  • 07:20 Okay, Ephesians 5:27, the Bible says: "He's coming again for a
  • 07:26 glorious church," right?
  • 07:28 In the Greek, that word "glorious," it's doxa, and it
  • 07:32 says: "the reputation of God."
  • 07:35 So he's not coming again until there's a people and it's gonna
  • 07:39 have to be a good-sized group of people that has the reputation
  • 07:43 of God.
  • 07:44 I mean, in holiness and in God's power.
  • 07:48 I mean, doing the works of Jesus and greater, like Jesus said in
  • 07:51 John 14, verse 12 through 14.
  • 07:53 He says we're to do the works of Jesus and then greater.
  • 07:58 And I like what Dr. P.C. Nelson said.
  • 08:00 He was the number one Greek scholar in the world in,
  • 08:02 like, 1940?
  • 08:05 And he said that verse, John chapter 14, verse 12 through 14,
  • 08:08 Jesus said this twice.
  • 08:10 Anytime somebody says something twice, it's pretty important.
  • 08:14 And he said, "If you ask anything in My name, I will
  • 08:16 do it."
  • 08:18 And as we all know that our Bibles today, Jesus did not
  • 08:21 speak Elizabethan English, you know.
  • 08:24 Caleb: Thou saith much.
  • 08:25 Mel: Yes, yes, so Dr. P.C. Nelson says, and I've been to
  • 08:28 35 different third world countries and sometimes
  • 08:33 you're speaking and I'll say maybe just a couple sentences
  • 08:36 and they speak a whole paragraph.
  • 08:39 And the reason is most languages, we don't have words
  • 08:43 that can have a single word that can exchange and mean the
  • 08:48 same thing.
  • 08:49 And so sometimes you have to use a lot of words to explain.
  • 08:53 And when they translate it into our Bibles, they tried to find
  • 08:56 words that would be an equal exchange.
  • 08:59 But he said, Dr. P.C. Nelson said, they didn't do justice.
  • 09:03 He said the strongest English assertion we've got is that
  • 09:08 "I will do it."
  • 09:09 But he says in the Greek, he says, this is what it
  • 09:12 really says.
  • 09:14 Jesus said, "If you ask anything in my name, if it doesn't exist,
  • 09:17 I'll make it for you."
  • 09:19 And I've seen that, you know.
  • 09:21 One of the best times I had 12 different ministries from the
  • 09:24 United States go with me to Nicaragua.
  • 09:27 And we were doing signs and wonders, miracle services,
  • 09:31 praying for the sick and so forth.
  • 09:33 And so I--we had a big platform in the middle of Town Square,
  • 09:36 there's maybe 4000 people there.
  • 09:39 And so I bring people on the platform because the Bible says,
  • 09:44 1 Corinthians 2 says: "I don't come with excellency of speech,
  • 09:47 but with demonstration and power," and that's what's
  • 09:50 needed today.
  • 09:51 We've got more -isms and schisms than ever before.
  • 09:54 But we need demonstration and power because a picture tells a
  • 09:59 thousand words.
  • 10:01 And so, I bring the people up on the platform and demonstrate
  • 10:04 the miracles.
  • 10:05 I brought up the blinded people.
  • 10:06 There was five or six people totally blind, they received
  • 10:08 their sight.
  • 10:10 Then a little lady came up, brought up her little daughter
  • 10:13 on the platform and little daughter about 7 years of age
  • 10:16 and she was born with no eyeballs.
  • 10:18 She just had white glistening substance in the sockets.
  • 10:24 No, no--nothing that resembled an eyeball.
  • 10:26 So we prayed for her and there was, like, two little--I didn't
  • 10:30 see it because I had my eyes closed.
  • 10:33 If I had to do over again, I'd keep my eyes open.
  • 10:36 But there was pastors that validated that they seen this.
  • 10:40 They said there was two white tornadoes as I prayed over
  • 10:43 each eye.
  • 10:44 And when the tornadoes were gone, when I stopped praying,
  • 10:47 she had two beautiful brown eyes and Jesus meant what he said.
  • 10:51 Caleb: That's a restorative miracle.
  • 10:52 Mel: If it doesn't exist, he says, "I will make it for you."
  • 10:55 That's the God that we serve.
  • 10:56 Caleb: And he told us to speak these things into existence.
  • 10:59 He made the all--the whole world by speaking it, "Let it
  • 11:02 be," and he made it.
  • 11:03 And we have that power living inside of us.
  • 11:05 Joshua: Well, it's incredible.
  • 11:06 And I wanna go back to something you said earlier because I know
  • 11:08 people are asking at home.
  • 11:10 Okay, if this exists, how come we're not seeing?
  • 11:12 Why is this not in my church?
  • 11:14 Now, Caleb and I are very blessed and we've talked about
  • 11:15 this before.
  • 11:17 We were raised in ministries and in services where we saw these
  • 11:20 things firsthand.
  • 11:21 So we never actually had to have the faith aspect of it because
  • 11:24 it was happening right in front of us.
  • 11:25 And we just believed because that's what we saw.
  • 11:28 But you said a key word, I think earlier, you said holiness.
  • 11:31 And I believe that that's one of the ingredients that
  • 11:34 we're missing.
  • 11:35 We have a lot of--but talk about holiness and what you
  • 11:37 think that that plays a factor in for seeing the moves of God.
  • 11:40 Mel: Well, I think holiness because the Bible says in Romans
  • 11:45 1, it says that God ordained Jesus with the miracle-working
  • 11:50 power according to the spirit of holiness.
  • 11:52 And that's a lost piece of information, much less
  • 11:57 doctrine today.
  • 11:59 But I believe all of that will take place.
  • 12:02 Ephesians 5:27: "He's coming for a glorious church," reputation
  • 12:07 of God.
  • 12:08 So, and then he said right in the same book, how we can become
  • 12:12 the glorious church.
  • 12:14 Ephesians 3:19, he says, If you will know the love of--and so I
  • 12:19 see this, it's a commandment from God.
  • 12:22 But because I know God, I've been to his house.
  • 12:27 Joshua: That is the coolest statement I've heard that--
  • 12:29 Mel: I know him. He's a loving, wonderful God.
  • 12:35 And so it's not a commandment, it's an invitation.
  • 12:38 I want you to know how much I love you.
  • 12:41 Ephesians 3:19, that "passes all knowledge, then you'll be filled
  • 12:45 with the fullness of God."
  • 12:46 If we're filled with the fullness of God, man, we're
  • 12:49 gonna be holy people.
  • 12:51 And then you're gonna be the glorious church.
  • 12:54 You'll be that glorious church.
  • 12:57 And that's a foundation that God has put in my heart so strong is
  • 13:02 that people needs to know the love of God, for them,
  • 13:08 experience it, know it in their mind, know it in their heart,
  • 13:11 that passes all knowledge.
  • 13:13 And if you know the love of God that passes all knowledge,
  • 13:16 Ephesians 3:19, you'll be filled with the fullness of God.

  • 14:32 the Father.
  • 14:33 Caleb: That's right.
  • 14:34 God wants to make his presence known, his power known, to

  • 19:22 And so there was easily 15,000, maybe 30,000 people.
  • 19:26 They followed Jesus for the main reason, they were sick,
  • 19:30 diseased, they followed him.
  • 19:32 And the Bible says Jesus was moved with compassion.
  • 19:36 Compassion was the driving force that put him on the cross.
  • 19:41 And it says, "He healed them all."
  • 19:44 And then it said, and it used a different word in the Greek.
  • 19:47 It says, "All of the maimed," in the Greek, those missing bodily
  • 19:52 parts, "All of the maimed were instantly made whole."
  • 19:56 People missing arms and legs, they grew out.
  • 20:01 Nothing too big for our God.
  • 20:03 He spoke the world into existence with the power of
  • 20:06 his Word.
  • 20:07 He hasn't changed.
  • 20:09 And so, to me, that's one of the greatest.
  • 20:12 And I've got a book written, "The Doctrine of
  • 20:15 Recreative Miracles."
  • 20:17 There's over 100 verses of the New Testament where it shows
  • 20:21 that the doctrine of recreation is just as real as salvation.
  • 20:27 In fact, if there is no--if there is no recreation, there's
  • 20:32 no salvation, because the word "salvation" from Genesis to
  • 20:35 Revelation, even though in the Old Testament, it's a
  • 20:37 different--it's Hebrew words and New Testament, Greek.
  • 20:40 And--but they have the same meaning and one of the words for
  • 20:43 salvation means healing, means prosper, but it also
  • 20:46 means wholeness.
  • 20:48 So if somebody comes knocking on our door, Joshua, knocks on your
  • 20:52 door this afternoon, and says, "Joshua, I heard you're a man
  • 20:57 of God.
  • 20:58 I'm gonna go to hell.
  • 20:59 Can you tell me how I can get-- be saved, so I don't go
  • 21:02 to hell?"
  • 21:04 You say, "Let's just pray."
  • 21:05 Romans 10:9 and 10, and they get saved, not 5 minutes later,
  • 21:12 instantly, they're saved.
  • 21:14 They have--they're a new creation.
  • 21:17 When somebody knocks on your door and they say, "Well, my
  • 21:21 arm, I lost it in a motorcycle accident 10 years ago.
  • 21:26 Can you help me?
  • 21:27 I need some salvation," same word.
  • 21:30 But we've been indoctrinated with manmade doctrines and we've
  • 21:35 put God--we've made him too little.
  • 21:39 And people, there's may-- hopefully, people that are
  • 21:43 watching me that they don't turn it off, but there'll be some
  • 21:46 people says I'm an extremist, and I am.
  • 21:50 I'm proud of it.
  • 21:53 Jesus was extremist.
  • 21:55 I extremely believe that God's an Almighty God, that he's the
  • 22:00 same yesterday, today, and forever.
  • 22:02 And as I studied the book of Joel chapter 2, it talks about
  • 22:05 how that all the miracles that has ever existed, they're gonna
  • 22:09 exist in this last days' move of God.
  • 22:12 And it says in the first month, all the miracles that has ever
  • 22:16 existed will take place in the first month.
  • 22:20 And after the--and that's us doing--we do what we can.
  • 22:23 And then after that, then it-- then God says, "Okay, now it's
  • 22:27 my turn.
  • 22:28 Then I pour out my Spirit."
  • 22:30 Caleb: And that's what Peter quoted on the Day of Shavuot,
  • 22:33 on Pentecost.
  • 22:34 Mel: Yes, so that means everything that took place in
  • 22:37 the Old Testament-- all those miracles are gonna
  • 22:41 happen the first month and I'm gonna be right there because
  • 22:45 I'm extremist.
  • 22:47 That means all the dead will rise.
  • 22:53 That means masses of people missing bodily parts, they grow.
  • 23:00 Moses separated the Red Sea.
  • 23:03 We're gonna--we're gonna--if somebody else don't do it, I'm
  • 23:06 gonna do it.
  • 23:08 I come not with just excellency of--we've got more different
  • 23:11 religions and isms and schisms than ever before.
  • 23:14 But I tell you what, we don't have the signs and wonders.
  • 23:17 Caleb: Yeah, we don't.
  • 23:19 Mel: Our God, no other gods.
  • 23:20 I remember when I went to India that they had 36,000 gods.
  • 23:24 None of them could heal a mosquito with a headache.
  • 23:27 And I had, when I went there, I challenged them all.
  • 23:29 I said, "Well, let your God-- you go ahead and do your thing.
  • 23:33 And then I'll let my--" and you know what?
  • 23:35 In one service, we had 35,000 people and 50% were Muslims,
  • 23:41 50% were Hindus.
  • 23:43 When they seen the miracles, we brought them miracles.
  • 23:45 And a little girl that was 16 years of age and she was--her
  • 23:50 brother was a Punjabi.
  • 23:52 I think that's how you pronounce it.
  • 23:53 Punjabi. They uphold the law.
  • 23:55 If you tell a lie in India back in those years, I don't know if
  • 23:58 they still do it, then they just chop your head over--chop your
  • 24:01 head off after the service.
  • 24:03 And so I put up signs all over India or in that area, it was in
  • 24:08 Hubballi and I says, "Bring in the blind, the deaf,
  • 24:12 the crippled.
  • 24:13 Bring in the dead, and my God will instantly heal them."
  • 24:17 And I still have the banner. We've got it here someplace.
  • 24:20 Maybe I'll pull it out for you if you'd like to see it.
  • 24:23 But it's big.
  • 24:24 It's 14--I put a--I put these banners all across the streets.
  • 24:27 And then on the other side, I said, "If my God doesn't do it,
  • 24:31 destroy me."
  • 24:33 So the Punjabis, they come with their swords, gonna chop my
  • 24:37 head off.
  • 24:38 And that's the--and so the Punjabi brought his 16-year-old
  • 24:42 sister and she's all deformed, never walked, blind, deaf, and
  • 24:49 mentally handicapped and he had to carry her up.
  • 24:52 She's like this...
  • 24:54 But when God's power come on the scene and recreated her body,
  • 25:00 I--then I asked the crowd, I says, "The God that I serve can
  • 25:04 give a greater miracle than this for everybody here.
  • 25:07 Is there anybody here that wants one?"
  • 25:09 All 35,000 raised their hands.
  • 25:12 Then I told them the simple story about Jesus.
  • 25:14 And I says, "Now here's how you get it."
  • 25:17 I told them the simple story.
  • 25:18 I says, "Now how many wants to have this life eternal and have
  • 25:23 abundant life?
  • 25:25 It's greater than this miracle."
  • 25:26 They raised both hands.
  • 25:28 Thirty-five thousand Muslims and Hindus accept Jesus because I
  • 25:33 come not with excellency of speech, but demonstration
  • 25:37 of power.
  • 25:38 So your faith will stand in the power, the love of God, and not
  • 25:42 just words of man.
  • 25:44 We need that as never before.
  • 25:47 Joshua: In his true humble fashion, Mel off camera told us
  • 25:50 the story of the first miracle that he experienced.
  • 25:53 And after Yeshua visited him personally and commissioned him,
  • 25:56 "Go and pray for these people," he went to Central America and
  • 25:59 he had big flyers printed up that said, "Bring your sick,
  • 26:03 bring your infirm, even bring your dead, and God is going to
  • 26:06 heal them."
  • 26:08 Now, he's never experienced miracles before, right?
  • 26:09 So he begins preaching to a group of thousands that show up
  • 26:12 to see these miracles.
  • 26:13 And there's just lines and lines of the sick and infirm.
  • 26:16 But suddenly as he's praying for people, these four men bring in
  • 26:19 their dead mother who had died that day and drop her body right
  • 26:23 in front of him.
  • 26:24 And so in that moment, he has to rely on the faith that he says
  • 26:27 he believes in and he lays hands on her and prays for her and
  • 26:30 nothing appears to happen.
  • 26:32 So he says, "I got to distract them somehow."
  • 26:33 So he walks down the line to pray for other people, hoping
  • 26:36 that they'll forget that nothing seemed to happen for
  • 26:38 their mother.
  • 26:40 And suddenly a few minutes later, a ruckus occurs
  • 26:42 behind him.
  • 26:43 He looks and she's been raised from the dead.
  • 26:45 She is whooping and hollering, they're whooping and hollering.
  • 26:48 And this was the beginning of the healing ministry that Yeshua
  • 26:52 commissioned him, just like he's commissioned us, to go into all
  • 26:55 the world to spread that good news.
  • 26:57 Caleb: That's right, and Mel has pastored a church for the last
  • 27:00 10 years in Missouri, but God called him to close down that
  • 27:02 church to go back into the world to have these meetings and to
  • 27:06 preach the gospel and to share his love with last days signs
  • 27:10 and wonders, which is actually the title of his television
  • 27:12 program, "Last Days Signs and Wonders."

  • 27:18 Joshua: You can't have anything in life without faith.
  • 27:19 In fact, faith without works is dead, is what the Bible says.
  • 27:22 So whether you're believing for a special touch from Yeshua,
  • 27:25 whether you're believing for finances, whether you're
  • 27:27 believing for the dead to be raised, it requires you stepping
  • 27:30 out in faith.
