00:13 And a special hello to friends Joshua and Caleb.
00:18 They're, indeed, friends of mine and I hope they
00:22 are becoming friends of yours.
00:24 Of course, they stepped in in my stead when I vacated the post at
00:29 "Our Jewish Roots" to spend more time here.
00:33 What is here?
00:35 Well, behind me is the Senate House at Cambridge University
00:39 and I plan to walk through that room again, that building I
00:44 should say, where degrees are conferred, this time to pick
00:47 up a PhD from Cambridge.
00:51 I'm busy studying and you're busy learning as well.
00:55 I trust that you're deriving great benefit from the wonderful
00:58 ministry that is "Our Jewish Roots," and I want you, like me,
01:03 to support my good friends, Joshua and Caleb.

01:13 Always great to hear from Dr. Jeffrey Seif.
01:15 He's a busy man.
01:17 You'll hear more from him in this next year, actually.
01:19 Guys, always great to have you at this table also.
01:23 Joshua Colson: Yes, it is.
01:25 Caleb Colson: This is a new kind of program.
01:26 This is still "Our Jewish Roots," but Josh and I have an
01:29 alter ego, a different identity as the Bearded Bible Brothers,
01:32 if you've seen on our social media sites, and we've done
01:35 years of teaching that has never graced the television set.
01:39 So we're gonna be doing more of these kind of episodes where we
01:42 showcase some of our really important teachings that really
01:45 struck a nerve and hit people's hearts now for the television
01:49 audience for the very first time.
01:50 It's great. Kirsten Hart: No, we're excited
01:52 about that and we look to you.
01:54 You are our teachers and you're in a place of authority and we
01:58 respect that and we're thankful for the fact that you're sitting
02:02 in these chairs on this platform right now.
02:04 Josh: Well, we're very happy to be here.
02:06 Today, we don't always take Yeshua's words where he says
02:09 he's coming quickly in revelation, because it's
02:12 been 2000 years so there's a complacency
02:14 sometimes that creeps in.
02:16 But we're gonna talk about the importance of running the race
02:19 with honor.
02:21 The call that the Father has put on you isn't just for you.
02:23 It's not just about you.
02:25 You're placed here for a purpose and for a reason and, right now,
02:27 we are gonna learn more about that reason as we study the
02:30 Watchman on the Wall in Ezekiel.
02:35 Josh: Ha, ha, ha.
02:36 Well, hey, everybody, I'm Joshua.
02:38 Caleb: And I'm Caleb. Josh: We are brothers.
02:40 Caleb: Correct, Josh. No, today, we're gonna talk
02:42 about my favorite Bible character.
02:44 He's a prophet, my favorite not-God-in-flesh person,
02:48 you know. Ezekiel, he's an amazing guy.
02:51 Josh: Ezekiel? Caleb: Yeah, I love Ezekiel.
02:53 Josh: So not Moses, not Noah, not Jonah, nobody [inaudible].
02:56 You chose some crazy dude that laid on his arm for, like,
03:01 17 years and cooked on poop?
03:04 Caleb: I guess, if you wanna be that specific, yeah,
03:06 Ezekiel was awesome, man.
03:08 Josh: He was pretty cool. Caleb: Yeah?
03:10 Josh: He created the greatest bread in the history of mankind.
03:13 It's fantastic. It's nutriently perfect.
03:16 Caleb: Ezekiel bread? Josh!
03:18 Josh: It's also frozen. Caleb: That was frozen.
03:21 Okay, guys, Ezekiel. He was a prophet of the Lord.
03:23 He was called to do some crazy things but he never
03:25 flinched at the opportunity.
03:27 He was silent, actually, for a matter of years where God had
03:31 his tongue cling to the roof of his mouth.
03:33 He couldn't speak until he prophesied the Word of the Lord,
03:36 until also the temple in Jerusalem fell.
03:39 There's also during that moment, during those matter of years, he
03:41 had to lay on his side, as Josh mentioned, for 390 days, cooking
03:45 his special patented bread over animal poop and acting
03:50 out the siege of Jerusalem.
03:52 Then he had to flip on his other side for 40 days and act out the
03:55 siege on his other side.
03:57 Josh: So when you're sitting in elementary school and the
03:58 fireman came to your school and told them what he did for a
04:00 living and do you wanna do this when you grow up?
04:02 Don't be a prophet.
04:04 Caleb: There is a moment where the Lord took Ezekiel's
04:07 wife from him, the delight of his eyes, as a sign to the house
04:11 of Israel that he was going to take the temple from them.
04:14 They would not be able to weep or cry, just as Ezekiel was not
04:17 able to weep when his wife was taken from him.
04:20 Eventually, he died a martyr as is believed by tradition,
04:23 by the hands of his own people. It's really harsh.
04:25 Josh: Isn't that crazy?
04:26 Like, you commit your life to the truth and, for some reason,
04:29 it's not easy because you're doing what's right.
04:32 Caleb: Anyways, we wanna focus on Ezekiel today and his
04:35 call as a watchman to the house of Israel, how we can be one of
04:38 two kinds of watchmen today.
04:40 Ezekiel was taken in the second deportation
04:42 to Babylon in 597 BC.
04:44 The first deportation was the princes, royalty that
04:47 was taken, like Daniel.
04:49 He was a priest, a kohen,
04:50 that's when most of the Levites were taken.
04:52 He was settled in a city called Tel Aviv, south of Babylon, and
04:56 he was 25 years when he was taken, Josh.
04:59 That was the age he was supposed to begin
05:01 his training to be a priest.
05:03 Josh: It was, right?
05:04 Ezekiel 3:17 says: "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for
05:07 the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and
05:10 give them this warning for Me now."
05:12 Ezekiel, like you said, epitomizes that idea of
05:16 a watchman throughout his entire career here.
05:19 Caleb: You see, he was supposed to be a priest but he
05:22 didn't receive that word from the Lord that you just read
05:24 until he was at the age of 30, 5 years in captivity.
05:27 He was suffering until he became a prophet of the Lord.
05:32 He was called.
05:34 Now, we wanna read Ezekiel 33, Josh,
05:36 'cause that gives the full call with all the details of
05:39 what it is for Ezekiel to be a watchman.
05:41 Josh: All right, buckle up, guys.
05:43 Ezekiel 33:1 through 9: "Again the word of the Lord came to me,
05:45 saying, 'Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and
05:48 say to them: 'When I bring the sword upon a land, and the
05:51 people of the land take a man from their territory and make
05:54 him their watchman, when he sees the sword coming upon the land,
05:57 if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever
05:59 hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning,
06:02 if the sword comes and takes him away,
06:04 his blood shall be on his own head.
06:06 He heard the sound of the trumpet, but he did not take
06:08 warning; his blood shall be upon himself.
06:10 But he who takes warning will save his life.
06:12 But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow
06:15 the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes
06:17 and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his
06:20 iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.'
06:24 So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of
06:28 Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth
06:31 and warn them for Me.
06:32 When I say to you wicked, 'O wicked man,
06:35 you shall surely die!'
06:37 and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way,
06:39 that wicked man shall die in his iniquity;
06:41 but his blood I will require at your hand.
06:44 Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way,
06:48 and he does not turn from his way, he
06:50 shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.'"
06:53 Caleb: That was a long Scripture, Josh.
06:55 And we like to read these long Scriptures and not take
06:57 Scripture out of context.
06:59 It excites us to hear the Word of God.
07:02 But a watchman, guys, was a sentry.
07:04 He stood upon the city walls, especially at nighttime.
07:07 He looked out to see if the enemy was coming while everybody
07:10 was asleep, warned them when danger was near, and he would
07:13 blow this trumpet, the shofar, when danger was near.
07:16 Josh, could you give us a--
07:17 Josh: When you were trying to warn somebody, they would take
07:19 the shofar to alert everybody.
07:25 Caleb: Josh, you're blowing at the wrong end.
07:26 Josh: I thought it was the brown note you couldn't hear but
07:28 you just felt it subsonically.
07:30 Caleb: No, it's not. Josh: Wait, do we have any
07:34 brass players out in Clayton, are you--
07:38 [shofar sounding]
07:43 Caleb: Okay, we had enough of that.
07:44 Josh: It's something like that.
07:46 Let's just say I'm a watchman second class.
07:47 Caleb: So in Mark 13:35, we get a designation of the
07:52 intervals of a watch of a night.
07:54 There was four intervals, separating into 3-hour periods.
07:58 The first was called Evening. That was from 6 to 9 p.m.
08:01 The second was called Midnight, from 9 to 12.
08:04 Third was called Cockcrowing, from 12 to 3 a.m.
08:07 Josh: That's my favorite.
08:09 Caleb: And the fourth was called Morning, from 3 to 6 a.m.
08:12 Now, in Ezekiel's case as a watchman, that Hebrew word
08:16 "watchman" was tzopheh or tsaphah and it's more like
08:19 he is looking into the future. He is a seer.
08:22 He's not looking at things at the present like a sentry on the
08:25 walls but he's looking at a foretelling of some doom
08:28 that is to come.
08:30 And we can be watchmen, just like Ezekiel, and there's four
08:33 different warnings that a watchman is required to give.
08:36 Josh: And guys, if you're gonna be watchmen, go ahead and
08:38 take notes right now.
08:39 Pull out your pen and paper, your iPad, your device.
08:41 Don't do anything Android, we don't like them.
08:43 Number one--he loves them.
08:45 To warn the wicked to stop sinning.
08:47 Number two, to warn the righteous to repent, that he
08:50 will not die in his sin, and his righteous acts be forgotten.
08:54 Number three, to warn the nations that the sword of
08:56 war coming, the destruction is coming.
08:58 And number four, to warn the house of Israel of all three.
09:02 This was the first and primary to Ezekiel.
09:05 Caleb: Yeah, so he was called to the house of Israel to warn
09:07 the people that danger was near.
09:09 We, as the Bearded Bible Brothers,
09:11 take that call very seriously.
09:13 We understand we are to look at prophecy, look in Scriptures,
09:16 look at the headlines, and if we see something occurring with
09:18 Israel, the fig tree, we are supposed to warn you
09:21 that danger is near.
09:22 Many years ago, this was back in the year 2020, January 28.
09:27 Josh: So long ago. Caleb: So long ago.
09:29 There was the signing of the Abraham Accords with President
09:32 Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,
09:36 and on that night we got in our minivan
09:38 and we gave a little scriptural warning.
09:40 We said, "Guys, this is not a good thing.
09:42 All the other ministers and peoples that--Christians of
09:45 voice, they were getting on and declaring, 'This is amazing,
09:48 this is an amazing peace treaty.
09:50 We are dividing up the West Bank.
09:52 Look at this land that we get.'" But we said, "Wait, wait, wait.
09:54 Y'all guys once said it was dangerous to divide up the land
09:57 of Israel," and we took the Scriptures and we said,
09:59 "This is what the Lord says: When you divide his land that
10:02 doom and destruction will come on you."
10:05 We said, "This is--this is us getting out from under the hand
10:08 of protection of the Lord."
10:09 And sure enough, within a month and a half,
10:11 COVID hit our shores.
10:13 It overcame the world.
10:15 It hit Israel and we've been suffering
10:17 the devastating effects ever since.
10:19 Not that God brought that but we have suffered implications
10:22 of destruction and those two leaders
10:25 were removed from office.
10:26 Now we supported them when they were like--move the
10:29 American Embassy to Jerusalem, but we understand when it's time
10:32 to speak up and you have to follow God's Word, primarily.
10:35 Josh: So if you purchase that minivan at Carmax next week, we
10:38 apologize because you are definitely on a radar somewhere.
10:41 That wasn't the only kind of watchman
10:44 spoken about in Scripture.
10:45 In fact, Jeremiah 31:6 says: "For there shall be a day when
10:47 the watchmen will cry on Mount Ephraim,
10:50 'Arise, and let us go to Zion, to the Lord our God.'"
10:53 Caleb: Now this is a very interesting watchman.
10:55 The Hebrew word "notzrim" is used here.
10:59 And this is a watching to the present, you know, warning
11:03 Israel that danger is near and also warning Israel
11:06 of blessing to come.
11:08 This notzrim is used by the Israelis in Israel.
11:12 They call Christians "notzrim."
11:14 It comes from the root "natzar," nun, tzadei, and reish, where we
11:18 get the term "Nazareth" from, the same root for Nazareth.
11:21 We are followers of Yeshua of Nazareth.
11:23 We are the notzrim.
11:25 And natzar is also the same root where you get "branch."
11:29 That's prophetically spoken of in Scripture.
11:31 Josh: Isaiah 11:1 says: "There shall come forth a Rod
11:33 from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch," that word he said,
11:37 "Shall grow out of his roots."
11:39 Jeremiah 23:5: "'Behold, the days are coming,' says the Lord,
11:43 'That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness.'"
11:46 Caleb: That's right.
11:48 So we--we can be grafted in to that olive tree who are Gentiles
11:53 being accepted by the blood of Yeshua,
11:55 and it says so in Romans 11:17.
11:58 Josh: Says: "And if some of the branches were broken off,
12:00 and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among
12:02 them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness
12:06 of that olive tree."
12:08 Caleb: So, guys, as Christians, as Jews and
12:11 Gentiles, we are called to be one of these watchmen.
12:13 We are called to support Israel, to stand by her in the hard
12:16 times, in the good times, to pray for the peace of Jerusalem,
12:19 to do whatever we can to show them the love of Yeshua,
12:23 the love of Jesus.
12:24 We're also called to be that other kind of watchman, you
12:27 know, to prophetically warn of the things to come, that danger
12:31 is near, that Yeshua is coming soon.
12:34 And the last Scripture we'd like to read
12:35 is Isaiah 62:6 through 7.
12:37 Josh: "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They
12:40 shall never hold their peace a day or night.
12:43 You make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and till He
12:46 makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."
12:48 Caleb: That's right.
12:49 That's prophecy, and one day that will happen.
12:51 And we will all go up to Mount Zion and worship the Lord
12:54 together, Jew and Gentile, and the Messiah will rule from that
12:58 temple, the Millennial Reign.
13:00 There will be peace on earth.
13:02 Josh: So just remember, guys, we lived in a flawed earth.
13:04 That means when you do what's right,
13:05 you're gonna have opposition.
13:06 You're gonna have things and people rise up against you.
13:09 It's not about being antagonistic and it's not about
13:10 saying things to hurt people's feelings.
13:12 It's about speaking the truth because the responsibility is
13:15 upon those who know it.
13:17 And so that's why we're here to share with you guys.
13:19 Caleb: And thank you for joining us.

14:02 try the English muffin version.
14:04 David: Very good. Kirsten: We have that at home.
14:05 Josh: The cinnamon raisin one is--
14:07 Kirsten: Oh, it's the best. Josh: So, so good.
14:08 Kirsten: And thank the Lord that they bake it in a
14:10 different way than Ezekiel.
14:12 Caleb: Ezekiel on the waste. You know, we don't do that.
14:15 Josh: I agree. Caleb: So that message, guys,
14:17 it's really pertinent for today's day and age.
14:20 Life as a believer isn't supposed to be a cakewalk, but
14:23 Messiah's promised that he would give us victory
14:26 over our foes, the enemy.
14:28 Now a lot of times when adversity comes against us, we
14:30 think, "Oh, well, I just gotta give up.
14:32 I did something wrong."
14:34 You know you're doing something right when Satan
14:35 is coming against you.
14:37 You know you are walking with the Lord
14:38 and you're making headway.
14:39 Don't give up. Keep on pressing forward.
14:42 We have that call to sound the alarm that the enemy is coming.
14:46 Josh: And with not giving up, it's not just in a personal
14:48 giving up, it's in telling others.
14:52 The church is just as viable as falling into deception and
14:55 falling into apostasy as an individual can.
14:58 And so we see this all the way back when Yeshua was here, the
15:02 Pharisees and the Sadducees, that religious spirit will try
15:04 to come in and will try to mess everything up.
15:08 So when that happens, we have to stand for truth, regardless.
15:11 We have to stand firm against the opposition
15:13 and know that this is what's right.
15:15 Caleb: That's right, and so we touched on this topic in the
15:17 next Bearded Bible Brothers episode you're about to view
15:20 called "Finishing the Course Well."
15:22 It's about living that life of holiness and righteousness
15:25 before the Lord and not compromising.
15:30 Josh: Oh, you're so fancy, Fidgie.
15:33 Josh: Hey, everybody, I'm Joshua.
15:34 Caleb: And I'm Caleb.
15:36 Josh: Guys, if you're a believer and you say to
15:39 yourself, "Look, I know that the Bible says that God is good."
15:42 Caleb: He is. Josh: Okay?
15:44 "And I know that he's just." Caleb: Yes, he's just.
15:46 Josh: "But when I look around the world,
15:48 all I see is evil winning.
15:49 And all I see is suffering.
15:52 Why is it that if God is good and he's just,
15:55 and if I do what's right, I'm still gonna be persecuted,
16:00 that I should still do what's right?
16:02 Why is it that I have to do what's right?"
16:04 Caleb: You know what, Josh?
16:06 The children of Israel asked this very same question.
16:08 Josh: Really? Caleb: Ezekiel chapter 18, guys.
16:10 This is a very important chapter,
16:13 a very important object lesson.
16:15 See, the Israelites, or the Judeans,
16:18 were taken captive into Babylon.
16:20 They sinned against the Lord.
16:21 They were in Tel Aviv, and Ezekiel the prophet was
16:24 prophesying unto them.
16:25 And they thought that since it was their parents that committed
16:30 all these great sins and atrocities, they denied the
16:33 prophets, they killed the prophets, they stoned the
16:34 prophets, they sawed the prophets in half, and now they
16:37 are suffering for the sins of their fathers.
16:39 They understood Deuteronomy 5:9 that says: "For I, the Lord your
16:43 God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon
16:46 the children to the third and fourth generation
16:49 of those who hate Me."
16:51 So they thought God was unjust.
16:52 They were saying, "We're here because of our parents.
16:54 We didn't do anything wrong. Why is God being mean to us?"
16:58 And God says, "Okay, I hear what they're saying.
17:02 You tell them this, Ezekiel," and he goes on to explain how
17:06 just and fair he truly is.
17:09 Josh: Verses 21 through 25 says: "'But if a wicked man
17:12 turns from all of his sins which he has committed, keeps all of
17:15 My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall
17:18 surely live; he shall not die.
17:20 None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be
17:23 remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he
17:25 has done, he shall live.
17:27 Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?'
17:30 says the Lord God, 'And not that he should
17:32 turn from his ways and live?'"
17:34 Caleb: Wow. Josh: Guys, that's mind-blowing
17:37 and even I know that.
17:38 Why? Because that was old covenant.
17:40 Caleb: That was God's grace. Josh: In the Old Testament.
17:42 Caleb: He was ready--the second someone repented,
17:45 he would wipe their slate clean. They would live.
17:50 That's amazing, guys, that even back then he said the sins
17:53 of the father would not pass on to the children
17:57 in all these chapters.
17:58 Josh: If they did what was right.
17:59 Caleb: If they did what was right.
18:01 Josh: Now in verse 24: "'But when a righteous man turns away
18:03 from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does
18:05 according to all the abominations that the wicked man
18:07 does, shall he live?
18:09 All the righteousness which he has done shall not be
18:11 remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which
18:13 he is guilty and the sin of which he committed,
18:16 because of them he shall die.
18:18 Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not fair.'
18:20 Hear now, O house of Israel, it is not My way which is fair, and
18:24 your ways which are not fair?'" Caleb: That's scary, Josh.
18:28 That's saying that here you have someone who lives their whole
18:31 life for God, then at the end of the life, they mess up and then
18:34 that person is in--all the good stuff they did is forgotten?
18:38 Josh: So you're trying to say, wait, if a pastor or if
18:41 Mother Teresa or whoever had done all these good things, had
18:44 a really sweet résumé, but at the very end,
18:47 forgot all of it and did whatever they wanted, trashed
18:49 it, that the end mattered?
18:51 Caleb: I mean, we see a lot of that today with famous
18:53 pastors and people who did great things in their ministry and at
18:57 the end of their ministry, some scandal erupts, you know, about
19:01 money or women or something, and everybody forgets about
19:03 all the good they've done.
19:06 It's kind of sad that way.
19:08 I think what God is looking at is the current state of
19:11 someone's heart, that you are not--just as God forgave someone
19:15 for the sins of their past, he's not looking at the good things
19:18 of their past, even though that's great.
19:20 He's looking at where you are currently with him.
19:22 Josh: 1 Corinthians 15:58: "Therefore, my beloved brethren,
19:25 be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the
19:28 Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."
19:31 Hebrews 3:14: "For we have become partakers of Christ
19:35 if we hold the beginnings of our confidence
19:37 steadfast to the end."
19:38 Galatians 6:9: "And let us not grow weary while doing good,
19:41 for it is in due season that we
19:43 shall reap if we do not lose heart."
19:45 Caleb: So this is about the harvest, guys.
19:46 This is about you're going out there, you're planting seeds,
19:50 you're cultivating them.
19:52 You are watering them to reap a harvest,
19:54 the souls of mankind, for our Lord.
19:56 But what would happen if you're a farmer, you plant the seeds,
20:00 you water them one day, then you left.
20:02 You come back 3 months later, "Where's my fruit?"
20:05 Josh: All your fruit's dead.
20:06 Caleb: I'm sorry, it's not there.
20:08 And Yeshua was trying to explain this to people.
20:12 We have another interesting story in Matthew 21 through 2,
20:16 a parable that goes deeper into this subject matter.
20:20 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out
20:22 early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.
20:25 Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day,"
20:29 this is the rate of pay, a denarius, a shiny little coin,
20:32 "He sent them into his vineyard."
20:34 If you know the story, guys, these guys are working all day
20:37 in the field and Yeshua, the landowner, he's going off in the
20:40 highways and byways, he finds people idle and says, "Hey,
20:42 follow me, and come harvest for me.
20:45 I am just and good.
20:46 I'm not gonna tell you what I'm gonna pay you, but I just want
20:49 you to work for me."
20:51 And the people are--they're so ecstatic, they're joyful.
20:52 "Someone hired me. Someone called me."
20:54 And at the end of the day, you know, Yeshua's hiring people
20:58 all throughout the day.
20:59 It's quitting time.
21:02 The full harvest had come and Yeshua's passing out the
21:05 rewards, the denarius a day.
21:07 Everybody gets the same rate of pay, a single denarius.
21:10 And there was complaining and grumbling from the people who
21:13 were working and laboring the entire day.
21:16 Josh: Verse 13 says: "But he answered one of them and said,
21:18 'Friend, I am doing you no wrong.
21:21 Did you not agree with me for this denarius?
21:23 Take what is yours and go your way.
21:25 I wish to give to this last man the same as to you.
21:29 Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things?
21:33 Or is your eye evil because I am good?' So the last will be
21:38 first, and the first will be last.
21:40 For many are called, but few are chosen."
21:43 Caleb: This is a call to end your life well, to be steadfast,
21:46 to finish the race, to complete that job that you're doing,
21:52 the calling. He called people.
21:54 And what would happen if we just bailed out early?
21:57 There's no reward. It's all lost.
22:00 We gotta finish the course well.
22:03 It's about the current state of your heart and--
22:05 Josh: Not about the treasure.
22:06 Caleb: Not about the treasure, not seeking the treasure.
22:07 You're not seeking the denarius like some of those guys who were
22:10 first called, they were just seeking the reward.
22:12 But those who were called in the middle, they were just joyful
22:14 that they were getting to reap a harvest.
22:16 Josh: 2 Timothy 4:7 through 8: "I have fought the good
22:18 fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
22:21 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,
22:23 which is the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that Day,
22:27 and not to me only but also
22:29 to all who have loved His appearing."
22:31 Psalm 112:6 through 7: "Surely he will never be shaken;
22:33 the righteous will be everlasting remembrance.
22:38 He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast,
22:40 trusting the Lord." Caleb: That's right.
22:43 Josh: Hebrews 10:35 through 36: "Therefore do not cast away
22:44 your confidence, which has great reward.
22:47 For you will have need of endurance, so that after you
22:50 have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 'For
22:52 yet a little while, and He who is coming will come up
22:55 and will not tarry.
22:57 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back,
23:00 My soul has no pleasure in him.'"
23:02 Caleb: Wow, we gotta stay true to the end.
23:04 We can't bail out early.
23:06 We have to follow God fully to the end.
23:09 He said, "Just yet a little while, and he's coming.
23:11 He's not gonna tarry."
23:12 Yeshua could be coming tomorrow and we want to be faithful.
23:16 We wanna be faithful for when he comes he can say,
23:18 "Well done, good and faithful servant."
23:20 Josh: Little known fact. Caleb: Yeah?
23:22 Josh: Run faster than everybody else,
23:23 get up to the finish line.
23:25 If you don't cross it, you don't win.
23:26 Cross the line, bro.

24:25 gonna hear it a lot of times from the pulpit at all because
24:27 we hear messages a lot of times that are geared towards what we
24:30 can get from us from God.
24:32 Ask God for this and that's how you receive.
24:34 But the message is what can we give to God?
24:37 What can we bring to God from ourself as an honor
24:39 and blessing to him?
24:40 Caleb: That's true. And God's really worked with me
24:42 over the past decade, in my old age, you know, about being ready
24:45 in season and out of season, you know?
24:48 I, you know, there are moments where I'm not my best self,
24:51 you know, or I'm in a grocery store, in a drive-thru', someone
24:54 messes something up and I'm just like,
24:56 "I'll give him the wrath of God."
24:58 No, we have to be ready to be that testimony of the love of
25:01 Yeshua, no matter where we go.
25:03 A good friend of ours, Israel Hanna, he's an evangelist.
25:06 You've seen him on this program before.
25:08 If you go anywhere with him, you'd better be ready to witness
25:10 about the gospel of Yeshua 'cause he will just like,
25:13 "Do you know Yeshua? Do you know Yeshua?
25:15 Let me tell you about Yeshua." He's always ready in season.

25:19 David: You guys are so spiritual,
25:20 but I have a non-spiritual question for you.
