• 01:23 And I'm Katharine Weiss
• 01:25 and we want to welcome you to our new series,
• 01:27 "The Times of the Signs".
• 01:28 The headlines are showing that the Bible is true.
• 01:31 A we sit here before you we see that ever since
• 01:34 1948 when the State of Israel was reborn
• 01:37 the signs are stacking up leading up to the return
• 01:40 the LORD, Yeshua Ha Mashiach .
• 01:42 And people have longed to see the day that we are living in.
• 01:46 It's an exciting time,
• 01:47 it's a challenging time
• 01:49 but God has given us the game plan.
• 01:51 He's given us who wins, right?
• 01:53 That's exactly so.
• 01:54 We have some great interviews
• 01:56 from wonderful guests speakers.
• 01:57 We're going to be hearing from Jewish and Christian
• 01:59 leaders who are experts in the topic of prophecy.
• 02:03 And we're going to see how these signs
• 02:05 are really unfolding before us.
• 02:16 All of these things are getting ready to
• 02:17 happen or in motion, especially...
• 02:23 Well this new phenomenon that's come on the scene is Chrislam.
• 02:26 And we'll talk more about that in a little bit.
• 02:28 But we're going to begin our series,
• 02:30 what is synonymous with the end times.
• 02:32 Let's go and hear Myles in Megiddo.
• 02:43 We often hear people say kind of with resignation
• 02:45 well, that's the sign of the times.
• 02:48 Well perhaps we're living in the times of the signs.
• 02:51 We're here at Megiddo,
• 02:53 one of the oldest 'tels', or archaeological digs in Israel.
• 02:57 It's where a city would be built and destroyed,
• 03:00 and built and destroyed and built up.
• 03:01 And here at Har Megiddo , the "Mountain of Megiddo"
• 03:05 which is where we hear the word "Armageddon"
• 03:08 loosely translated in the King James.
• 03:10 In Matthew 24 Yeshua told us....
• 03:23 because we do not know the day or the hour.
• 03:25 And we want to be like the Sons of Isaachar
• 03:27 who understood the times and the seasons.
• 03:30 You know there are so many signs piling up on each other right now
• 03:33 running into each other,
• 03:35 that it's as if they're stacking up
• 03:36 in the preparation for the coming of the Messiah.
• 03:40 The most significant sign that the Messiah is coming
• 03:44 is the restoration of Israel spoken of in Mark 13...
• 03:53 And since that time in 1948 there are so many signs
• 03:57 beginning to happen in the world
• 03:59 that many prophetic voices and scholars are looking at
• 04:03 are we really there?
• 04:04 Are we near the time of the coming of Yeshua ?
• 04:08 I mean think about it.
• 04:09 The ancient nations are all on the scene again.
• 04:13 Russia - Persia - Turkey
• 04:15 Cush which is the area of Ethiopia and the nations in Africa.
• 04:19 And 'Put' which is Libya
• 04:21 and the surrounding nations.
• 04:23 Those significant prophetic nations
• 04:26 are all on the world stage again.
• 04:28 And it's in preparation for the great battle of the end
• 04:32 and the nations being drawn into the Valley of Decision
• 04:36 which many believe is right here in the Valley of Megiddo.
• 04:41 Ezekiel 38 speaks about this confluence,
• 04:44 this coming together of nations to come against Jerusalem,
• 04:47 to come against the people of God,
• 04:49 to come against the purposes and the Word of God.
• 04:52 Even at the time we're living right now
• 04:54 that Jeremiah 49 is coming awake,
• 04:57 and the significance of Iran, ancient Persia, is now growing
• 05:00 as we see them taking a major place on the world stage
• 05:04 with their threatening to annihilate Israel and the West.
• 05:09 Zechariah 1:14-15 says to the nations,
• 05:23 You went to far in being a hand of correction on them.
• 05:26 There is so many signs in the earth right now
• 05:28 that we're getting near to the great battle
• 05:30 and to the coming of the LORD
• 05:32 that we are excited because we know that there is Good News
• 05:36 in the midst of the headlines that are distressing you.
• 05:43 I consider Jesus' Olivet Discourse
• 05:45 the most important prophecy in the whole Bible.
• 05:48 Because He's the Creator, He knows everything.
• 05:51 And He knows the end from the beginning.
• 05:54 He says...
• 06:23 To me it's thrilling to see how close we are.
• 06:27 You would think the re-birth of the nation of Israel
• 06:29 which I do believe was when the world
• 06:31 hourglass took its final spin,
• 06:33 and I do believe we are in the end times
• 06:35 as that being one sign.
• 06:37 But the thing that really makes it more clear
• 06:39 I think at this point Myles
• 06:41 is that when you look at all the prophesies
• 06:43 that are to be forthcoming in the last days,
• 06:46 they're all converging right now.
• 06:47 WOW!
• 06:48 It's not just one sign but they're all signs.
• 06:50 As a matter of fact, I have to search out
• 06:52 to see if there is any possible sign that isn't convergent right now
• 06:55 and I haven't found one yet.
• 06:56 For instance, Russia is involved in a major
• 06:59 invasion of Israel in Ezekiel 38 and 39
• 07:02 that includes Iran and Turkey.
• 07:04 The relationship Russia is building with Iran and Turkey
• 07:06 are stronger than ever.
• 07:09 and Iran and Turkey are adverse to Israel
• 07:11 I mean, that's one thing.
• 07:13 What about it says in Revelation 11
• 07:15 there will come a time when 2 witnesses who were preaching Jesus
• 07:18 will be killed by the anti-Christ
• 07:21 and it says that the whole world will see them.
• 07:23 Hundred years ago they used to say that the Bible can't be true.
• 07:26 How can the whole world see 2 guys lying in the streets?
• 07:29 Well, I'll pull out my cell phone and I'll tell you
• 07:31 I can see them on the Internet,
• 07:33 on my cell phone, my iphone.
• 07:34 That's right.
• 07:35 What about the mark of the beast?
• 07:37 Someday they say there'll be no one who'll buy or sell,
• 07:39 a cashless society.
• 07:41 Well what about the biometric chip technology we got right now?
• 07:44 In Matthew Chapter 24 its talking about
• 07:46 all the signs that will come before the LORD
• 07:49 Jesus returns to the earth.
• 07:51 And Jesus gives out this long list of signs.
• 07:53 I always think it's interesting when people
• 07:54 say we shouldn't be looking for signs.
• 07:56 But when Jesus' disciples said, what will be the
• 07:58 sign of your coming and the end of the age?
• 08:00 He didn't say, well just don't worry about it.
• 08:01 He gave this long litany of signs.
• 08:03 But until we have re-conquered,
• 08:05 repossessed the Biblical heartland of Israel
• 08:10 we won't get to the point where we really have Jerusalem
• 08:13 WOW!
• 08:14 and where God's kingdom will be re-established on earth
• 08:17 and the Messiah will come, right?
• 08:21 Or where Christians will say, Christ has come back,
• 08:24 and re-established His kingdom on earth.
• 08:26 I call these days the last days of the last days
• 08:30 WOW!
• 08:31 I believe that Jesus is coming soon.
• 08:34 And if he's going to come in my lifetime
• 08:36 he better come pretty quick.
• 08:46 We are living in exciting times.
• 08:48 I mean, think about it.
• 08:50 All the prophecies of the Bible are coming alive.
• 08:52 The headlines can only be understood
• 08:55 as you look through the lens of Scripture.
• 08:57 Think about the rise of this coming world government,
• 09:01 the economy becoming one all around the world.
• 09:04 The role of radical Islam, the jihadists,
• 09:07 are on the move around the world
• 09:10 threatening western civilization,
• 09:12 threatening Israel, "the little Satan"
• 09:14 and America, "the great Satan" so called.
• 09:17 Think about the change that's coming in the little town of Bethlehem
• 09:20 where we think of the coming of the LORD
• 09:22 and now what's coming from there is a re-written story
• 09:25 that is excising the history of the Jewish part of the Land
• 09:30 and the Jewishness of Jesus
• 09:32 in trying to build a new replacement theology
• 09:34 that has more to do with South American liberation theology
• 09:38 and Marxist theology than it does to do with the Bible.
• 09:42 The rebuilding of the Temple...
• 09:44 There are those in Israel that are preparing for rebuilding the Temple as we speak,
• 09:49 as we're alive right now.
• 09:51 And also this incredible movement of the "Greens"
• 09:55 the environmental...
• 09:56 I can only say, the environmental fascists
• 09:58 who are trying to centralize control
• 10:00 and make it impossible for people to live
• 10:02 and the connection that had with pagan worship.
• 10:05 There's so many things on the horizon right now
• 10:09 that we want to bring to you on this series
• 10:11 to let you know where we are in time
• 10:13 and what we need to pray about
• 10:15 and how to move through this season.
• 10:17 Daniel 12 speaks about the end of time.
• 10:20 God admonished Daniel to seal it up,
• 10:23 till the end of time when knowledge would increase
• 10:25 you could unseal the book.
• 10:27 And we are living in the most explosive time
• 10:29 of the increase of knowledge.
• 10:31 Think that 100 years ago everyone traveled by horseback
• 10:35 and now we travel by planes and by jets.
• 10:38 I you had told our great-great grandparents
• 10:41 that things would be they way they are now
• 10:43 they would say that'll never happen.
• 10:44 Think about this little device that we all carry around.
• 10:46 Some of us worship it.
• 10:48 We feel like we can't live without it.
• 10:50 And it can take photos and get you in touch with a library
• 10:53 and communicate with every one in the world.
• 10:55 And the knowledge level is so explosive
• 10:57 and so increasing in these last 100 years
• 11:01 that we're seeing this fulfillment of what God
• 11:03 told Daniel would happen at the end of time.
• 11:06 We also see the incredible falling away,
• 11:09 the weakness in the Christian church.
• 11:11 Thank God it's strong in Africa and Asia
• 11:14 and is growing in parts of the world
• 11:16 but diminishing in Europe and in America.
• 11:19 And we need to be able to pray about that.
• 11:21 Because we see this falling away.
• 11:23 Do you know that the vacuum that was left
• 11:25 by weak Christianity after World War I
• 11:28 was the exact vacuum that Hitler came in to fill as a strong national figure?
• 11:35 Could it be that the weakness of the Church
• 11:38 is opening the door for a strong international figure
• 11:42 spoken of as anti-Messiah, anti-Christ.
• 11:45 We need to strengthen the Church.
• 11:47 We know that this series, that these programs
• 11:49 will strengthen you in your faith and will keep you strong in the Word.
• 11:54 To keep you from that 2nd Thessalonians 2:3 "great falling away"
• 11:59 So here we are... The Valley of Megiddo.
• 12:02 With the good signs that the LORD is coming soon
• 12:05 in the midst of all the difficulty,
• 12:07 in the midst of all these signs that are dangerous and hard to understand.
• 12:12 The good news is that God is a God of restoration.
• 12:16 And just as he has restored Israel,
• 12:18 restored the people of God to their nation
• 12:21 and is now awakening the Church to its root
• 12:24 as being grafted-in to the Commonwealth of Israel,
• 12:28 God is now going to prepare us to be able to thrive
• 12:32 in the midst of the difficult years ahead.
• 12:35 And that's what this program will help you do,

• 13:48 the prophetic things that are unfolding

• 13:53 and hear Myles' interview with him in Jerusalem.
• 13:57 Ryan I'm holding my 2nd favorite magazine in the world.
• 14:00 The first of course, being the Levitt Letter.
• 14:02 But tell us a little bit about the history of your magazine
• 14:05 and how you run it today
• 14:08 regarding its availability.
• 14:10 Okay, "Israel Today" was began almost 40 years ago I believe,
• 14:13 in Germany as a small newsletter
• 14:17 to the German Christian public where at the time
• 14:20 there was very little news about Israel coming out
• 14:22 especially from Israel.
• 14:24 So our founder, Ludwig Schneider
• 14:26 began a newsletter to those people.
• 14:27 It continued to grow.
• 14:28 The desire for it continued to grow.
• 14:31 And about 15, maybe even 20 years ago
• 14:34 they became aware of a desire for this in English as well.
• 14:37 Of course, there was a lot more news about Israel in English,
• 14:40 in the English market.
• 14:41 But a lot of it was coming from the mainstream western media.
• 14:44 They were coming over here with their own agendas
• 14:46 that were being influenced by the agenda of those
• 14:49 who took their hands and guided them around here in the Land,
• 14:51 in particular Palestinian authority.
• 14:53 And so there was a hunger for what are the average Israelis thinking about these things.
• 14:59 What is the average Israeli view?
• 15:01 And in particular, what is the average Israeli Messianic view of these topics?
• 15:05 It's a very unique publication.
• 15:07 I want to ask you some questions
• 15:08 about how you see the role of Israel in these particular things.
• 15:13 For example, regarding this movement towards a one world government
• 15:17 and the centralizing of the economy.
• 15:19 Where does Israel stand in the story line?
• 15:22 I think it's really interesting to look at the U.N. in particular.
• 15:25 Israel is part of the U.N.
• 15:27 Israel in fact wants to be part of the U.N.
• 15:29 Israel wants to be accepted
• 15:30 and be a part of this growing unity.
• 15:33 But despite its desire to do so it never will be.
• 15:37 Because first of all it was called out by God
• 15:39 and as we know, the world tends to not like what God has called out.
• 15:44 So Israel will push and will try
• 15:47 and it affects things like the upcoming elections.
• 15:50 But I think obviously we will continue to see that the world holds Israel at arm's length.
• 15:56 And Israel realizes that in the end that it's on its own
• 16:02 and needs to figure out things on its own.
• 16:04 What about the current situation of the rising of jihad in the Middle East?
• 16:09 I know we're praying a lot about the persecution of Christians.
• 16:12 And some people are saying...
• 16:13 I may have even read it in your magazine.
• 16:15 The 20th century was the Jews persecution.
• 16:18 The 21st century seems to be the Christians.
• 16:21 I'll tell you, a lot of people here in Israel are just baffled by it
• 16:25 because a few years ago the whole "Arab Spring" was starting up.
• 16:28 These movements were starting.
• 16:30 And in the west, and particularly in America and in Washington
• 16:32 there was this excitement and trying to encourage these movements.
• 16:35 And in Israel everyone is shaking their heads and saying, you don't know what you're doing
• 16:38 you don't know what you're getting yourself into.
• 16:40 A lot of people here already saw what was going to happen and were predicting it.
• 16:43 They said already years ago, you know the "Arab Spring" will become an "Islamic Winter".
• 16:47 And its actually gone far beyond that in reality.
• 16:50 It's shocking...
• 16:51 And you're from America; you've been here a long time.
• 16:54 But how do you see America being seemingly on the
• 16:59 wrong side of history so consistently in the recent years?
• 17:02 Look...I think... and Israeli's recognize this,
• 17:07 that the general American attitude and the general American engagement
• 17:11 is coming from a place of good intention.
• 17:14 Now whether or not that's true of the particular leaders who are in office
• 17:18 is another question.
• 17:20 So Israelis that frustrated by the American actions realize
• 17:24 that America in general has everyone's best interest at heart in general
• 17:30 and in particular for Israel.
• 17:33 But they see that there is a very naive approach to these types of things.
• 17:40 The Americans tend to deal with places like the Middle East
• 17:44 as if they're dealing with their European friends
• 17:46 or European allies and nations.
• 17:48 And it's just a different place.
• 17:50 Things work different.
• 17:57 Hi, you know a good question to ask yourself might be,
• 18:00 where else can you find solid Bible teaching
• 18:02 regarding prophecy for these last days?
• 18:05 Well Zola Levitt Ministries

• 18:32 There's so many voices arising.
• 18:35 It's kind of amazing that while the ultra orthodox
• 18:38 don't believe there can be a Temple before the Messiah is here,
• 18:41 there is a growing movement to at least be able to pray and get ready to build.
• 18:45 How do you see those events currently?
• 18:48 Look, first of all as a Bible believer,
• 18:50 the Jews, there's this whole series of returns
• 18:55 that are laid out in the Bible.
• 18:57 First, there's a return to the Land.
• 18:59 Then there's a return to Jerusalem.
• 19:00 Then there's a return to the Temple Mount.
• 19:02 Then there's the return of the hearts to God Himself.
• 19:03 Hallelujah!
• 19:04 So as someone who reads the Bible you're sitting here
• 19:07 and you're watching it all happen
• 19:09 and you're recognizing what's going on.
• 19:12 So it's exciting.
• 19:14 It's exciting to see them push for this.
• 19:16 It's also frustrating because Israel itself is blocking
• 19:20 the Jews from taking this next step out of fear.
• 19:24 One of the programs we're doing is regarding
• 19:26 the re-writing of history out of Bethlehem
• 19:29 including Yeshua as the first Palestinian freedom fighter
• 19:34 and Christ at the Checkpoint controversy.
• 19:37 How big would you say this new replacement...
• 19:42 we'll say Palestinian replacement theology is?
• 19:45 It's unfortunately from our vantage point,
• 19:47 getting dangerously and worryingly big.
• 19:50 I think they have successfully latched on to a message of social justice
• 19:55 and this plays with the younger crowd big time.
• 19:59 Especially on campuses in the west.
• 20:01 And I think they have pretty much perfected this message.
• 20:04 I tell you what... there has been a lot of difficulty
• 20:07 in trying to find a counter-message.
• 20:10 Because it is so appealing. the social justice message,
• 20:13 and especially when you put it in the context of Jesus own teachings, it's a winner.
• 20:17 So it's been difficult for the Messianic Jews themselves to find something.
• 20:23 Where there has been some success...
• 20:25 There are a couple of legal groups,
• 20:27 some of them headed by Messianic Jews
• 20:28 although the organization itself is not Messianic,
• 20:31 that are doing a lot of work in saying, well you know what?
• 20:33 We're going to point out social injustices in this country
• 20:35 but if you want to show where the real problem is
• 20:38 they're looking at the Palestinian Authority.
• 20:39 And they're showing, pray for the Palestinian people
• 20:41 because they are being oppressed not by Israel, by their own government.
• 20:44 So really for our viewers, they may have had...
• 20:47 I'll say the older ones have had just a kind of almost knee-jerk
• 20:51 heart response to the establishing of Israel in a positive way.
• 20:55 But there's a huge divide coming among the young people like you say, especially on campuses.
• 21:01 And what would you say to the west regarding this slippery slope?
• 21:08 First of all I think regarding this divide there needs to be an understanding.
• 21:12 Because this older generation saw the rebirth of Israel and it's this amazing thing.
• 21:16 I mean what generation has seen such a fulfillment of prophecy in their time?
• 21:19 It's unprecedented.
• 21:22 Right.
• 21:23 So the older generation is you know...
• 21:24 We're siding with Israel no matter what.
• 21:26 And I think the realization that both sides need to come to
• 21:30 is that it's not about Israel.
• 21:32 Israel is not perfect.
• 21:33 Israel is a human nation, it's going to make mistakes.
• 21:35 Read the Bible, Israel made mistakes all through its history in its relationship with God.
• 21:39 There was never a period that Israel was perfect and Holy in God's site.
• 21:43 Exactly.
• 21:44 And it's not going to be so today either.
• 21:45 That doesn't mean that His plan is not right, because it's not about Israel.
• 21:48 It's about Him and His plan.
• 21:56 In light of what is coming
• 21:57 on the prophetic horizon
• 21:59 We have to ask the question,
• 22:00 How shall we live knowing that the nations
• 22:04 will be drawn into this valley
• 22:05 to fight against Israel and the God of Israel
• 22:08 and that all hell is going to break loose on the earth?
• 22:11 How shall we live?
• 22:12 Well we can know that God is always with us
• 22:14 no matter what we're facing.
• 22:16 And I believe that we need to pray for a restoration of
• 22:19 the fear of the LORD and not the fear of man.
• 22:22 You know Islam is continually trying to get us to bow
• 22:26 to what they want and the agenda that they want.
• 22:29 Even Chrislam is trying to creep into the Church in the west.
• 22:33 And it is such against what the cross has already accomplished
• 22:37 that there's one way to the Father
• 22:38 and its not through Allah
• 22:40 it's through Jehovah.
• 22:41 And so Myles, the fear of the LORD is what we need.
• 22:44 We really do.
• 22:45 And you know it's one of the 7 spirits of God
• 22:46 spoken of in Isaiah 11.
• 22:48 And the fear of the LORD is not a fearful thing in the sense of being scared.
• 22:52 It has to do with reverence.
• 22:54 It has to do with understanding the awesome Holiness of God
• 22:57 and His desire to be in relationship with us.
• 23:00 And you know the Bible also talks about in the last days
• 23:02 we shall watch and pray.
• 23:04 That means our eyes can see the signs that we're living in.
• 23:08 But our heart isn't discouraged.
• 23:10 Our heart is encouraged because we can know that our prayers will be effective
• 23:15 even like in the days of Daniel when he said...
• 23:17 Like he prayed 3 times and God was with him
• 23:21 even in the most hard circumstance
• 23:23 in that God will give us the ability to be strong and to take action.
• 23:28 That's really true.
• 23:29 You know that we need to both celebrate God
• 23:31 in our worship services and in our private time
• 23:33 and be enthralled with Him.
• 23:35 But at the same time we need to keep our eyes open
• 23:38 and be aware of what's going on in the world
• 23:40 thinking about even the current persecution
• 23:42 of the church in the Middle East and around the world because of jihad.
• 23:45 We need to be able to worship and enjoy the presence of God
• 23:49 but also know what is happening around us.
• 23:51 Yes, yes, yes...drink in of His strength in every worship service that you have
• 23:56 but also make sure that we're able to be salt and light.
• 23:59 Our voice has ability to have things accomplished.
• 24:04 I love the things that God is doing in America
• 24:07 but we could do even more.
• 24:09 Yeah, we need to be standing with our brothers and sisters around the world.
• 24:12 I think about the righteous Gentiles
• 24:15 that stood for the Jewish people during the holocaust.
• 24:18 I think that I want to be a righteous Jew
• 24:20 and stand for the Gentiles that are now suffering,
• 24:22 the Christians that are suffering around the world.
• 24:24 We want to be those Jew and Gentile together
• 24:26 that are standing for and helping those that are facing such incredible persecution.
• 24:31 Salt keeps the preservation.
• 24:34 It preserves the goodness of things.
• 24:36 And light shines light on the world
• 24:38 and it points people to the Word.
• 24:40 Really the only way that we can live in these days
• 24:42 is to be people of the Word
• 24:44 and to keep looking up
• 24:46 because our redemption is coming.
• 24:53 You know perspective is everything.
• 24:55 When we keep our eyes on the LORD and not on the tragedies that are coming towards us
• 25:00 the LORD will help us to walk above the circumstance
• 25:03 even like Peter, Myles
• 25:06 how he had to walk on the water in these days.
• 25:09 Our redemption is drawing nigh
