Dr. Amnon Ben-Tor

Professor and Archaeologist

Amnon Ben-Tor, is professor emeritus at the Institute of Archaeology, the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He has worked at Hazor as an area supervisor under Yigael Yadin in the 1950s and 1960s. Since 1990 he has been the director of the “Selz Foundation Hazor Excavations in Memory of Yigael Yadin.”
